"aaand.. what is your specialization?"
"My strengths rest upon the front lines of battle. Much of my power rests within physical combat, and the quickenings that so many citizens of Ivalice have mastered."

"I believe my talents are not the kind you are looking for, cur."

"and on to the second section! how tall are you, exactly?"
"I stand at an average hight of five feet and ten inches."

"ah, just three inches taller. hm. so, what's under your clothes? not that i wont find out for myself."
"Ahem, it is not proper to discuss such things. If you must know I am rather muscular and athletic beneath this armor."

"okay, sorry. let's talk about some.. non - crude things? what's your personal style?"
"I am always seen in my armor. It was hand forged within Archadia, and represents my worth to Lord Larsa & the Empire. The only time I am not wearing it is when I am asleep."

"hey, you look like that celebrity... what was the name...?"
"Celebrity? I would hardly call my brother Basch a celebrity. Perhaps you are talking about Noah fon Ronsenburg, he died with Landis."

"right! i remember now. you look just like them. except better, heh heh..."

"If you really must know I have a fondness for banana nut muffins, they are absolutely divine. I have come to see Larsa akin to my own son, as such I treat him like my own. Furthermore many have spoken of my love of the law and dignity. It is common knowledge that I detest traitors and criminals, they are the scum of the world. I can not stand stilettos. I tried them once after drinking too much Bhujerban Madhua, they were not pleasant. I do not understand how women folk wear them... Do not get any ideas. Ahem. And then there is my Brother. I detest him, I would sooner see him die then break bread with him again."

Those are meant to stay that way. By now many people know that my brother is the traitor Basch fon Ronsenburg, a knight in Dalmasca. His very name brings shame to me. But there are other things... "Dancing? Rooms? Not with cur like you."

"shh, if my boss knew about our secret romance... so. what's your heritage?"
"There is no romance between the two of us, there never will be. However I was born in the Republic of Landis, in the far northern reaches of Valendia. My mother fell ill when I was young, but she managed to survive for many years. My Father died an honorable death to the hands of Archadia during the invasion. I thank the Imperial Troops for giving him a respectable death."

"wow, your family would love me! have anyone else in your family?"
"I have no other siblings worth mentioning."

"oh. sounds horrible. haha. anything else important happen in your life?"
"After the fall of Landis I joined the Imperial Army, they were the victors. It was the honorable thing to do. As I climbed through the ranks of the Imperial Army I heard whispers of him. He fled to Dalmasca like a dog with it's tail between it's legs. He too was rising in ranks. However two years ago I was granted the title of Judge Magister shortly after Judge Magister Zecht disappeared with the fall of Nabudis. I was transfered to the Ninth Bureau. It was an interesting change, previously I worked under Judge Magister Drace. She... She was a good woman. Around this time my Mother died, then two years later Emperor Gramis was murdered. Like Drace I suspected Lord Vayne, yet I held my tongue. I could not project Lord Larsa if Vayne was against me. And that is all I recall, the next thing I knew Lord Larsa was the Emperor."

"hey, look! we're done. so, i would ask you on a second date, but i'm about to explode. no, really. please step back."

It was a rare sight to see Amalia walking through the streets of Rabastre. She normally hid within the deepest bowels of Lowtown. It wasn't the most pleasant place in the world, as the stench from the Garamscythe Waterways filled her hideout. But it was for her own safety. She was the only leader left in the Archadian Resistance, and she wasn't about to throw her life away. But today was special, Rabanastre had a guest that Amalia was obliged to entertain.

The Lady of Dalamasca pushed open the doors to the Sandsea, one of the largest bars within the Royal City of Ranastre. Normally walking into a crowded bar would be a horrible idea, but many of the Resistance's friends spent their days drinking away their sorrows in the Sandsea. A few eyes glanced Amalia's way as she walked in, her slightly revealing clothing wasn't the best for blending in. She ignored the on lookeers and walked towards the bar, her eyes were looking straight forward. She would keep her dignity.

"I would like a bottle of your finest Serpent-wine," Amalia said to the barkeep as she placed one of her hands onto the oaken bar. Tomaj gave her a soft nod and produced a time worn looking green bottle. With a nod of thanks she took the wine from the man, leaving behind a few hundred gil.

With the Serpent-wine in hand Amalia climbed the stairs that led to the balcony of the Sandsea. Her eyes scanned the small crowd, looking for Rabastre's illustrious "guest". It wasn't long before Amalia's hazel eyes rested on a man. It wasn't very hard to pick out the foreigner in the crowd of Dalmascan men. She slowly approached the man, the bottle of serepent-wine held in her hands.

She stopped in front of the strange man's table. He was playing with some kind of machine on his wrist, the holographic projections flashed and swirled, seeming to posses a life of their own. It seemed to confirm Amalia's suspicions that this man was from the Cocoon, or at least some where related to it. The only country she knew that held such technology was Archadia, and he was certainly no Imperial. "Ahem," Amalia cleared her throat in a attempt to catch Auric's attention. "Unless I am mistaken you are Auric, the hero for hire?" She asked without taking a seat. It would be rude to simply invite herself, although she hoped that the bottle of aged serpent-wine would catch the man's interests.
