A large structure located at the very western tip of the northern continent where much of the moogle population has begun to reside unless the said moogle has work in human cities such as Archadia or Cocoon.

This place is located at the very southern tip of the northern continent. It's residents referred to as Wutai, this village's residents are very much secretive and would much rather keep to themselves after what the Calamity has caused their village to become.

Archades has been pushed into action by the machinations of a suspiciously-absent high member of the hierarchy, being led to declare war on the floating continent of Cocoon despite the protests of her strained people and military, in arrears following the Calamity. Emperor Larsa Solidor struggles with the burden of war on his hands.

The floating continent, aloft by as of yet unknown means, has become a paranoia driven nightmare. The residence cannot fathom what has transpired and believe Pulse has somehow accomplished technological advancement. Thus, PSICOM is ever more overzealous, with the purge ever the more frequent for trivial crimes, as people assuming an invasion at moments - the recently declared war on the continent on Archades' behalf is not helping matters.

At one time, this large river divided Spira into it's northern and southern parts. Now this river has begun to flow once more, flowing right through the heart of the northern continent, and causing the mostly industrial continent to begin to look a little bit more wild.

A Small horseshoe shaped lake which is connected to the Moonflow by a small river that is actually a tributary of the large Moonflow river. Obel lake is just south of Cocoon and almost seems a little out of place for something so tranquil to exist where large cities thrive.

The technological marvel has initiated preparation for war, surmising the inevitability. In contrast to the other cities in their vicinity, they are more accepting of strangers, albeit in a begrudging manner. It would appear not all are as willing to protect any and all. This has led to interior strife and political savvy minds scheming the possibility of using the Calamity’s riff as a means to usher in their own era. A forced unity to combat the monster growth is all that is maintain balance in those yearning to act.

The desert castle has suffered significantly more than others, in fact the region could no longer be cited a desert. Instead, the sand has mutated into a swamp-esque purple mush. Although people can traverse the landscape, few consider it worthwhile, thus the castle has be nearly completely abandoned, excluding an increased monster activity.

A city located at the far east, it seems like this place is perpetually caught in sunset, as a permanant orange glow seems to emanate from this peaceful town. However despite it seeming peaceful, rumors have it that monsters seem to be appearing at night for very little reason. Perhaps if you stay here for the night you may run into them as well.

A Large winding network of caves and tunnels that has become the first and only physical link between the other dimensional continents in this new distorted world. This network branches from the Northern Continent and connects to the Western Continent, the Central Continent, and the Southeasten Continent.
