Remora, who had been waiting outside, turned her head to look into the tent as soon as she heard Tenneth rouse, his body rustling against the grass and dirt below him. "Oh! You're all right!" She smiled, getting onto her knees and turning to face him fully. However, she hated the smell of smoke that entered her nostrils when he started smoking so she backed off slightly.
"It's fine." She smiled slightly, taking off his robe and handing it back to Tenneth in case he needed it for anything else, such as warmth. It was unlikely for her to be spotted outside the city walls at this point in time. It was almost dark too, so the night hung over the group like a black veil. "I don't really have any questions. At this point, I kind of just roll along with things. However..." She turned to Taro. "...How did you end up here? Why come here?" She then turned back to Tenneth for his question about food. "Not sure about food, but I could go back into the city and steal some?" She inquired. "Interested?"
As she awaited their responses, she lifted a hand up to fiddle with her right ear, which seemed to point into the sky as far as it would go. She had always wondered why she had ears like these, but not like those of Tenneth and Taro, both of which whose names coincidently began with T. "By the way, would you happen to know anything about... anyone like me?" She asked, just out of interest to see if anyone could answer or give her any leads.
----- (To maintain posting order, sorry if I mucked this up >.>") -----
Upon hearing Taro's reply, she cocked her head to one side in interest. "Really?" She asked. "C.R.H? Cocoon? What is that? And wow, that must have been a storm of a battle! I'm glad you're ok though. You've survived a lot." Remora frowned slightly, placing a pale hand on Taro's. She gasped when Taro mentioned a memory of someone who looked similar to her. "Really? You know someone like me?" She gasped in delight, taking her hands back and folding them over each other at her chest. "What can I do to jog your memory since this information will be so valuable to me?!" She smiled for this information she could be obtaining was likely to reunite her with her family, if that was who Taro was trying to remember. She could think of no-one else who would wrong her and yet looked like her. It seemed fairly safe for now.

“Who am I you ask?” Tenneth started at the newcomer with a look that probably would of scared a cat. He bellowed at the young man “I am a sorcerer of the past and future. I do not use “Magic” I manipulate the natural magic around everyone, I nearly lost my live saving you!” even though he knew he was lying he did not like people demanding answers but he still could not resit but give them to him. As he took the man’s food, he tore out a chunk of bread and ripped at it if his hunger would kill. He stuffed the food down using the water flask nearby to refresh his mouth with bites. He felt like an animal but this felt good to him. His magic was wild, so why shouldn't he be? After he finished eating, he looked back at the young man completely ignoring all his remarks until then. “My arcana crap?” He summoned one of the orbs by him, pouring all of the fire that made his anger into it. “Imagine this is your life, This is what I can do, So please no more insults or you might not be so lucky someone is here to save you.” With that he walked off still smoking and throwing the orb mentally into a few sticks that were lying around, creating a small fire. He just watched it, allowing his anger to fuel the flames. Remora seemed to get on with the young man. A question did pop into his head about her orgin. He had met many elves in his life but none so far away from the woods. He would not tell them how he knew this but just play along with the fact he did not know. “I am sorry Remora. I know you are an elf. Where you came from I do not know, but I can guess from your clothing your were once royalty.” He pushed of all other questions. “Taro, I have been to cocoon, to be so far away from your country is a mystery to me the one thing I want to know is,” he turned his back to Remora, “Is what is your plan from here? Why were you sneaking around the city? Because if you want back in, I will help and get what you need but only if you tell us why we are here to begin with.” “Taro, I will “Blast” magic into you again if it will save your life, but do no expect every mage to be so lenient with you. Most Magicians cannot hold there magic as easily as I can, next time you insult one, it might be the end for you.” (OOC, Ok the new order, Is me, Trao, Then Remora, so no one gets confused )

Taro nodded as Remora asked about the C.R.H and Cocoon. “Cocoon is... was a sort of, miniature planet that hung above a place called Gran Pulse. It was ruled by a theocratic government called the Sanctum. The C.R.H was a resistance group attempting to liberate the people of Cocoon from the Sanctum's grip.” He glanced away for a moment, then looked back. “From my condition, i'm guessing we didn't do too well.” Remora placed her hand on his. Taro smiled, relaxing a bit. “Thank you Ms. Blaze.” Her sudden excitement stunned Taro. “Ah, I'm not sure what you can do to help my memory. So far it's been returning in fragments when I see something familiar....”
He trailed off, then heard Tenneth's retort. “Excuse me Ms. Blaze.” Taro turned to him, stepping close to Tenneth. “I've seen a hell of a lot worse than fire Mr. 'Sorcerer of the past and future'.” His right hand hovered above his pistol. “And your magic will not save me Sorcerer. I'm not a fan of that cursed power, so keep it to yourself.” Taro stepped away, drawing his pistol and aiming at a fist sized rock a few yards away. “Imagine that stone is your life.” He fired two successive shots, shattering the stone. “That's what I can do to it.”
Taro spun the pistol around and thrust it back into the holster. Walking back near Remora, he spoke quietly. “Regardless of my opinions toward your friend, he seems to know more about your people than I do. His lead seems a bit more.... feasible.” He turned back around, standing off to the side of Remora. “My plan. I'm looking to get back to Cocoon. But i'd have no objections to helping Ms. Blaze find her people. I have this horrible feeling in the back of my mind that Cocoon isn't how I remember it, and i'd rather delay finding out what happened as long as possible. That might even be the reason I was so far away from it in the first place.” His eyes narrowed when Tenneth made another comment about his magic. “I don't care if other magicians can't hold their magic. I'm not afraid of it, if they really seek to harm me, then i'll return the favor.”

"Ah, a miniature planet?" Remora pondered, trying to search her memory to see if there were any traces of it in her mind. Nope, no luck. She had evidently never seen the place or only when she was young and thus lost her memory. She then listened to what Taro had to say about Gran Pulse, the Sanctum and Cocoon. When he seemed to trail off, Remora returned both of her hands to her chest and folded them over each other in some sort of fearful posture, coupled with a gaze. "That's the same for me, but why is that the case...?" She bit her lip, then looking at Tenneth as he spoke.
When he bellowed in anger in response to Taro's comments, Remora stood up and leapt back, almost screaming. He seemed to set alight an orb of fire which Remora shielded her eyes from the light of. She was able to calm down when the fight seemed to break apart and Tenneth spoke about her being an Elf. "What? An Elf? Is that what these ears m-mean?" Remora stuttered from fear and shock of the two great fighters. She knew barely even how to defend herself so if she were to find out she could, along with being an Elf, the shock may end up too much for her! With shaking fingers, Remora touched the tips of her ears again. Royalty? Seriously? If that's what he thought, then he must come from a very poor place..." Remora thought to herself. Her clothes were nice, sure, but certainly not what she remembered of royalty.
When Taro retaliated with his pistol shot, Remora gasped once more - she was getting sick of this - and as soon as Taro smashed a stone into smithereens with two shots, Remora leapt in front of the two, arms outstretched. She ignored what else he had to say. "Please, stop fighting! We won't survive out here if you continue to fight like this and I don't think the guards are going to hesitate for much longer to find out what just crashed outside their city!" Remora pointed toward the walls of Alexandria, standing her ground. "We need to move and break up all these differences we have. I don't care where this takes us - Cocoon, Gran Pulse... Wherever I came from! My objective is now just to survive and find out what the heck's going on with this world. I'll even destroy the abomination if I have to!"

As Remora jumped at them both Tenneth back away. Although he was good at controlling his magic he could feel the area around them vibrating with his anger. “This is why people don't understand why mages must always keep there calm. If they don't well the other person usually does not live to tell the tail” he said to himself.
He knew he was powerful but could he stop a bullet? Well that depended on the shooter. Usually he could just stick a wall of wind in front of him the vibrated hard enough for the bullet to stop or change course. Although this man was skilled with a gun. He could probably hurt the man just as much as he would be hurt in return.
They were evenly matched, in height and build. Although the newcomer did not like Tenneths arcane magic, he in return did not like guns.
“I am sorry for shouting Taro, I am tired and have been using to much energy today. I will agree to disagree.” He held out his hand to Taro, if he accepted it, he would just shake it normally. If he did not well he did not really mind.
He then turned to face directly and Remoa, getting her eyes to focus on him.
“For now, my mission is to protect you Remora” He reached through his cloak until he found a small letter in golden writing with the same symbols as Remora's clothing.
“The letter asks me to protect a long eared woman. They care about you a lot and with the money they sent either they are very wealthy or royalty. With the gold writing I predicted royalty.” He passed the envelope to Remora to see if she could get anything out of it. “They paid in advance so I must see you safe until I can leave so we have two choice. We ether stay here and sneak back into the city or, we go downstream. I will leave this decision to you people.”
He watched her hands move to her ears and noticed if they walked into a town like they were, there would be questions and none that he could answer write now. So he instead passed his cloak back to Remora and said “What ever we decide, you need to keep this on at all time to hide your ears. If people notice they might have got a warning of our coming. They will be on the look out so we have to be careful.”
After he said what felt like a entire speech, he left out a long breathe and lit another cigarette moving the fire from the fireplace to lit it. It wormed through the sky lighting the tip of his cigarette and sliding along the air back to his resting place.
He awaited there response, still noticing the air around them was still shaking. He really need to release the energy but he did not know how with out starting another fight.

Taro glared at Tenneth, but looked away when Remora jumped between them. He offered a strained apology. “I'm sorry Ms. Blaze. I'll try and refrain from harming your friend.” Taro stepped back, away from Tenneth and looked at Remora. “Ms. Blaze, if you are from a royal family, then there will be people who will want to hurt you.” He shrugged, cracking a thin smile. “And since I can't trust Tenneth to keep you safe, I guess i'll have to tag along to make sure that you get back to your family safe and sound. That is, if you don't mind, Ms. Blaze.”
Taro then turned to Tenneth, his look was less than friendly, but not outright aggressive. “We should probably get moving, the guards in that city are probably getting suspicious of us now.” He looked back at Remora, speaking in a distinctly softer tone. “Ultimately, it's up to you Ms. Blaze. Though if you decide that you want me to come with you, i'd suggest downriver.”

(I'm back!)
Remora listened to everything Tenneth and Taro had to say, taking his cloak back when he handed it to her. She wrapped it around her arms, to keep herself warm. She then took the time to look at the letter Tenneth showed her. Indeed, she was the only person in Alexandria that she had seen with long, pointed ears. Unless of course, there was another elf somewhere in hiding. That'd be unlikely though. "With all that money..." Remora spoke, handing the letter back to Tenneth. "...It makes you wonder why only one person was hired. Perhaps someone is out to get me and that's how I wound up here... It must be something that needs to be done in secret and away from everyone else. Of course, let's go. Downstream." She then stepped away as he lit a cigarette. She hated the smoke and thus coughed as some went up her nostrils. "Indeed, I probably don't mind." Remora spoke back to Taro. "Let's just go."
With that, Remora started a fast walking pace to follow the river that stretched into the horizon, the mist shrouding the rest of the land in mystery. She walked along the walls of Alexandria, which she would soon walk away from. At least she wouldn't have to return to such a place that seemed to be hunting her down unless her life depended on it or it actually turned out that there was someone else that Tenneth was supposed to be looking for. Thoughts clawed at her mind. She was about to go on a journey with two unknown people - both of which seemed to be fine for now, at least. However, what if they truly were injured? Would she be held accountable? Also, she hadn't used any kind of magic or techniques unlike these two had displayed. Did she really have any of her own or was she just going to drag the team down...?

Vlace knew that something was wrong when the person he was supposed to rendezvous wasn't there to meet him at the edge of the city. And when he saw the flaming sanctum ship coming out of the sky he realized that things were in a position worse than even he had feared. There was no time to make a report back to the other generals, something they would frown upon as he was the youngest general and as such they felt the need to rain their 'wisdom' down upon him from their years of experience.
He quickly grabbed readjusted his red bandana before leaving his apartment that way no one would recognize him by his pointed ears. Once upon a time someone accidently called him by the wrong name at which Vlace had responded with, "I have pointed ears, spiked hair, and always wear a red bandana. I must look like sooo many other people."
He shouldered his MSMG, his favorite rifle in his arsenal, and left his apartment quickly. He was glad that he had had the sense to get an apartment on the very outside of the city that way he wouldn't get to many glances from people. He could see even from his position on the street Archade billboards with posters of himself plastered all over them and every offense he had ever commited against them. He left for the edge of the city and one block from leaving it he turned down an alley way were a bunch of rundown entrances were. He stopped at the second warehouse and unlocked it flipping open the sliding door. Vlace hoped he still had the jump to the location as this was taking more time than he wished. He jumped into his modified sanctum speeder and it started right up. "That is what I like to hear!"
He thumbed the throttle and it nosed foward out of the garage. He pressed a button and the door slid in place behind him and Vlace quickly turned away and pushed the speeder to its full speed and was pushed back in his seat at the sudden increase in speed out of the city and in the direction of the crash.
It was nearly two minutes until Vlace reached the crashsite and he lept out of it shutting the speeder down quickly. He looked back at the city and he saw a sanctum gunship skirting the city in such a fashion that would not draw attention to itself but even with that wide circle, was coming closer at an alarming rate. Vlace looked at Taro the person that he was supposed to be meeting with the crashed ship and two other people he had no idea who they were.
"I would be required by my training and by my duty to the CRH to be absolutely infuriated with you, Taro, but there are other pressing matters that are certainly... time conscience and so they can wait." Looking at the two people he extended a hand to both of them and said with a smile, "Name is Vlace. General Vlace. Maybe you have heard of me. Or at least seen posters around the city. Part of the CRH." He waited with a hurried patience for their introdutions for even as he spoke the ship passed over head and Vlace seemed to cringe away. Watching the ship he muttered, "Sanctum bastards. They saw us and definately know we ain't some of them."
The ship flew over a wooded area and dissappeared from view as it slowed down and descended below the trees. Vlace took his MSMG and looked through the scope at the woods. "They just landed and something tells me they want to talk to us. Something about this ship and my speeder is my guess. I vote that we see if my hypothesis is correct or if these sanctum people have suddenly become unpredictable. Any other opinions should be spoken now."

Tenneth stared as the dust cloud headed towards them. It was obviously not of this world but of a another.
He looked at Taro “One of yours?”
Taro did not seem surprised to the see the young man or amazed that he even turned up.
The man introduced himself as Vlace, a general of the CRH, “I am Tenneth a man of many talents” he said as he shook his hand.
“And I have seen the posters you have earned yourself quite the reputation in this parts.” He turned to Remora, “You can trust him, he is like Taro...” as he spoke a ship flew over head, ot was the Sanctum.
God he was in trouble if they found out he was helping the CRH, “I shall be hiding while they talk” and with that he covered himself in pure magic and reflect the light around him, to make him almost invisible.
“I am still here but I shall observe what happens. If there is trouble, run I will hold them off.” He directed these words at Remora, “Taro, I believe I will need you and your friends assistance to hold them while Remora runs,” He sounded like he had a lot of authority when in fact he was asking for there help.
He turned to the new ship and had an idea that stealing it might be a good idea although...he wondered if these two could pilot it.
Valcae pulled out his gun, Tenneth really hated guns. He admitted they were good and could kill most normal men with a single shot but he preferred his magic. You could not hide from a Sphere that can fly around corners.

Taro nodded when Remora said that they should leave. “I agree Ms. Blaze, the longer we stay here, the greater our chance is of being discovered. By Either of our enemies.” The shriek of a Sanctum patrol speeder could be heard approaching their position, but something was off about the sound. The timing on the engine was adjusted and there were obvious modifications. Taro spoke to himself. “Speak of the devil.” He turned to Tenneth. “More or less...” Then slowly towards the sound, seeing Vlace's speeder touch down.
Taro was less than surprised by Vlace's sudden intervention. Whenever Taro got himself in a fix, Vlace wasn't usually far behind, whether that was a good or bad thing... well, that depended on the situation. However, Taro was less than pleased with Vlace's means of entry. The high profile approach would tell the Sanctum that Taro was still at the wreck, and hadn't fled. He was hoping to keep them in relative darkness on the subject, as they wouldn't approach Alexandrian soil without being sure that their target was present.
“Nice to see you too Vlace. Can't say i'm surprised though.” He looked over at the gunship as it descended into the woods outside of their vision. “They're landing in the woods to hide their operations from the Alexandrians. But the forest gives us an advantage.” Taro turned back to Vlace. “I think that we can eliminate the search party if we make a tactical advance from both flanks and evade their infantry. I doubt they'll be expecting a two man assault on their gunship. It'll most likely only be inhabited by it's base crew and not the infantry. With that ship we could easily eliminate the rest of the enemy forces. What do you say Vlace?” Taro took his recon rifle off of his shoulder and held it at ease.
He turned quickly to Remora. “Ms. Blaze, i'd recommend that you stay with Tenneth, Without Vlace or myself around, you could claim ignorance to the whole situation. If we manage to liberate the gunship, then we could easily use it to get wherever it is that you need to go. If not... Well, Tenneth will be able to escort you on foot.” He smiled. “Wish me luck.” Taro turned and walked over next to Vlace, waiting for him to make a decision towards their course of action.

Remora span around, seeing the sights of two flying machines overhead. When one touched down and the other remained, Remora remained clueless as to what was going on. However, when the group was alerted to the danger the so called Sanctum could cause to them, she knew they had to act quickly.
"Vlace, eh?" Remora muttered to herself as he introduced himself. When Taro described the means of an attack that could turn the situation to their advantage, Remora nodded in agreement. She didn't think much of his next idea about having to stay with Tenneth. At this, she raised an eyebrow. Yes, he had saved her from the clutches of Alexandria, but a team of two was much less secure against any would-be attackers.
"Like Taro..." She muttered to herself. Gosh, she had been speaking to herself a lot lately! That didn't matter in this situation though. Folding her arms, Remora focused her attention on the smoke from the engine that was rising from the forest. Her mind made up, she moved to grab Tenneth's arm to drag him in the opposite direction away from the forest. "Fine, we'll go. I don't care what happens at this point, but finding a way out of here then to wherever you were supposed to take me in the first place would be a good idea. Besides, do you even know what's in this direction?" Remora asked as she walked on. Leaving Taro and Vlace.

(Sorry about the delay)
Vlace listened to the other people introduce themselves as Remora and Tenneth and listened to their ideas. Then he listened to Taro's and decided that would be the best course of action. Remove the civilians from battle and move into the danger zone, kick the crap out of the sanctum. Perfect text book procedure. He turned and watched the girl pull Tenneth away in another direction and then looked at Taro.
Vlace raised an eyebrow at Taro and when Remora and Tenneth were out of earshot and said, "This is going to be a story I should like to hear. Ms. Blaze? We have a mission to complete Taro, you would do well to remember that one of these times."
Narrowing his eyes at the woods, and letting the task at hand refill his mind he prepared himself ignoring the pressure building behind his eyes. This sickness always struck at the worst times. Luckily he wouldn't need another dose until a few hours from now. At least he thought and hoped.
"We need to get into the woods before they can make it out here. Otherwise we are going to be sitting ducks." Not waiting for a response he set off on a mild run for the fringe of the woods. He scanned the woods for any signs of movement, being ready to spring into action at the first sign of trouble but it seemed that the sanctum were taking their time to get to them. In other circumstances this fleeting thought might have thrown a red flag for Vlace but he was busy trying to keep his stomach down and keeping his face unreadable. The thought disappeared from his thinking and was gone.

Tenneth was getting irritated. Not only did Taro refuse his apology but they had ignored the fact he was invisible and going to assist them.
As Remora tried to grab his arm, he just moved, and followed the other two that ran into the forest. They could not see him, so he could probably take there guns with out them noticing, although he needed them at that moment.
He summoned some of the Aero magic that was around and created a small air disc for him to get to the ship before the others. He would just have to prove the fact that ignoring him has consequences.
As he zoomed past two guards he shot two small balls of air at the back of there heads. He would need them later to find out what they were up to.
As he approached the ship he saw about ten men unload all carrying similar guns to Taro and his new friend.
As he looked at them, he definitely could see they were part of the sanctum although he would rather see what Taro and Valace would do against these kinds of numbers.
He started his incantation to protect the two when they arrived.
His incantation would stop bullets hitting the two men, although he would never admit to doing it because of Taro's reaction to the last time he tried to help him.
He gathered the energy needed and awaited for there arrival, when they turned up he would sheild them from the enemy’s bullets by placing a wall of air in front of them.
Most people would then thing that they could not shoot out although he would make a small opening were there guns were so they could be allowed to fire back.
He had done this many times but never with people that distrusted them.
When the threat was gone he would zoom back to Remora before anyone would even notice he was gone.
((OOC Guys seriously, you ignored my last post entirely, don't do that again please
P.S. IM BACK!!!!.))

Turned and looked back at Remora, still walking backwards. He spoke quietly. “I'm sorry Remora. I need to do this, don't worry, i'll do everything in my power to help you once we have that ship.” With that he turned and walked next to Vlace again, matching his pace. The nape of Taro's neck tingled from the invisibility magic used by Tenneth. Vlace's somewhat condescending comment irritated Taro, but that was the norm between the two. “It's nothing Kayorve. Besides, hardly any memory of my mission was retained after exposure to that storm. Whatever it is, I'm sure that remembering it would be fantastic. But I need to protect Remora as well. If that means taking her to Cocoon with us, so be it.”
With Vlace's brake for the woods, Taro joined him and broke into a quick jog, not quite a run in an attempt to conserve energy. He glanced over to Vlace just before crossing into the woods. To anyone else, Vlace would look entirely normal, but Taro was able to pick out the slight variations in his brother's composure. He was near an episode, this mission would have to resolve itself quickly. “Yes sir.” Taro stopped just before the beginning of the forest, looking back at Remora with forlorn eyes, though he doubted she could make out his features from there. Turning his attention back to the woods he crossed the leafy threshold before him. His footfalls making hardly any sound as his training in subversion and infiltration kicked in. He could feel a slight tingle in his forearms and a light heat over the rest of his body. Someone had some sort of magical aura around him. Whether it was good or bad, he couldn't quite tell but his forearm grafts were absorbing small amounts of the magical aura around him, invigorating him and allowing Taro to push himself harder.
After a couple of minutes, Taro heard a few of the PSICOM soldiers moving forward ahead of him. He dashed towards a tree, running a few steps up and jumping onto a branch ten feet off the ground. There he crouched like a sentinel, pulling out his combat knife he waited for the soldiers to walk under him. Just as they passed under the branch, he dropped down on the center man of the formation, quickly bringing his forearm around to strike the left man's throat then spinning to stab the stunned third man with his knife. It slid easily between the plates of his armor. While the left man was recovering Taro finished him off with the knife, then snapped the first man's neck. After this quick dispatch he began to move towards the gunship again, keeping a lookout for more soldiers. The heat from the strange spell around him began to accumulate to near painful levels, but the sapping grafts continued to feed off of the spell. Was it possible that Tenneth could be intervening? Even after Taro's rant against magic?

(I'm really sorry, I'm too busy to do anything at the moment. Please just continue without me - I'll just do this quick post)
As Remora dashed away from the forest where the PSICOM solders were thought to have landed, she began to run short of breath after about a minute. She turned to Tenneth, moving to place her arm on his shoulder. "I need a rest." She told him, her long ears flapping in the wind that surrounded them. Little did she know of his little tricks with the wind that he could manipulate. He had returned before she noticed anything. "But I'll stay here for a minute. You can perform some reconnaissance, make sure it's safe for me to continue?" She panted, sitting down on the Ground. She wrapped the cape around her body to keep herself warm and clean of dirt. "Don't worry about me."
