The beast cracked a wide smirk at the woman's reaction. The men on this planet didn't know how to keep a woman in check, it seems. Her actions was far from what a woman should do. He almost bellowed in laughter, but he decided against it, after all, he might miss more amusing things. Her empty threats meant nothing to him, however, she seemed pretty determined to slice him in half.
It's a shame that it was impossible. Vanish sounded good right now, but not that she thought of him vanishing. "I will tell you my name the day I call you master." He bellowed, his grin widening further. Knowing a name meant having power over someone - much like the dragons of mythology. The beast grew interested in the flying man, flying down from the sky.
The beast probably sensed him, but his curiosity grew. What kind of human was this? He was much like the dark one, except he had a single wing. How could the bird fly with one wing missing? The strange species known as humans...he would never understand them. Then the dark one spoke at the monster as he looked at him, laughing darkly.
"Try to cut my belly open, and it will not have a scratch. Come into my insides and you will find my organs to be tougher than any blade crafted on this pathetic world." He said, laughing darkly. However, hi laughter suddenly stopped, the amusement gone from his face. The fur stood on end as the beast stalked around, going in a complete circle, before facing the humans that imposed themselves.
He looked down at them, cracking a small smirk. "The time has come." He spoke. Nothing came, but it was coming, and he had better things to do than to encounter the Plague. It was coming, he could feel it. "Meet your destiny face to face. Watch as people around you suffer...and I will be watching you all, the ones who wouldn't surrender themselves, die."
There was a bolt of lightning and the beast disappeared into thin air, but his echoing harsh laughter rung in the ears of many. The beast was gone, but his message was sinking deeper into the ground. The nearly invincible beast was out there somewhere, but more importantly, the beast was not dead. It lives on. The Calamity has only began.
No one can stop it.
