Part 1.
This lab, it stunk like the rest of the city. The woman inhaled the air of the sealed off room as it burned her lungs causing her to revert back into a coughing fit. Doubled over , her irritated lungs let her know just what they were thinking. And then suddenly a scream ripped from deep within her very soul.. Some invisible force threw her to the ground, pain searing every nerve ending in her body as she tried to keep her muscles from spasming like they were. Another scream was torn from her throat as a sudden wave; like fire roared over her body, an ebony colored armoring substance began to form and her spine began to contort and lengthen. A tail was taking shape. In the window above the woman, scientists watched stoically, recording their observations and not even wincing as the woman's body continued changing.
The pain, oh the pain it was unbearable. She found herself crying, tears searing hot trails down her cheeks as the armored substance finally overtook her face. The tail had come to full length and lashed about uncontrollably as her legs then began to change to something more bestial looking; feral. Like her. Everything in her body was on fire as the changes continued, her eyes faded to only a glowing orange pair of orbs and another set of armor began to form. Instead of a scream, a roar thundered through the laboratory. The crimson armor dribbled streams of blood from the human it was born from. And then, her hair lengthened and solidified into a golden mane in which an ethereal glow emanated from.
The beast roared again unable to create unintelligible sentence. It thrashed about in the chains that held it there, until finally it succumbed to the fatigue and collapsed. The beast disappearing and only leaving the woman behind. She was conscious the entire time the beast was alive, but inside the heat and pain was to much for her, she allowed the animal to control her actions. The lights went out and she was left in the dark; alone. Not for long though, she heard the footsteps of what sounded like shoes on the sterile floors. She hissed in pain as the lights came back on, and once she was comfortable she forced her body to turn and look at whom was approaching her.
She didn't care as he bent down to examine her. Her body had scrapes and scabs from past methods of forcing this transformation. Her green eyes were dull, however they still possessed a faint playful luster. She forced a smirk, even as his armored hand reached down and rested on her shoulder. The woman could tell even if she was half conscious that he wasn't there to cause her harm. However, the strangely clad female finally couldn't force her eyes to stay open. She slumped limply against the floor and then all she saw was black.
"Fang..?"
Fang didn't hear his words, nor his footsteps as he left.
