It's taken me a long time to be able to do this, not just to find time, but to emotionally prepare myself for this announcement... it's a hard one for me to make, so just bear with me, please.
As some of you may have known or noticed, our head admin is currently double majoring in college. Fang may have pointed out to one or several of you that her workload doesn't allow her enough time to sufficiently take care of Calamity's Cry.
A few weeks ago, she made the official decision to let it go.
Some of you may argue that a head admin's decision doesn't necessarily reflect what has to happen - but it does in this case. She elected not to hand over head administrator powers, nor make the announcement herself, considering her growing detachment from the site. I wish we would have been able to go on without her, but without that passing of the torch, we unfortunately cannot.
We had a good run, everyone. I'm happy with and proud of the stories we've written together, and hopefully will continue to write.
May the winds be at our back in future endeavors. Calamity's Cry, I'm sorry, but this has to be good-bye.
