No, I do not have permission from any of the admins/mods on this site to post this. I am doing this of my own accord - as both an admin and a member of this site.
First of all, I'm sorry for any applications that have not even been looked at. We are aware they exist, but I have been specifically told not to do them because I have no in-game experiences and those applications will have to wait until an admin or mod with the game experience gets to them.
For Arbiter threads, most if not almost all of the admins and mods are going off and on hiatus. Yes, most of them are unannounced but there is good reason for it. It's also true that there is majority of the staff that has been on for the past 24 hours. It does not mean they can perform their duties as a staff member due to IRL issues. Please be patient with those admins and mods that are doing your Arbiter thread, even though you may not know who it is.
For plain role-playing. The reason above. Please, be patient with the admins/mods.
Members with questions about something a staff can answer to. I am a staff member, yes, but there are certain, if not a lot, of things that need to be either asked by all the staff members or be okayed first by either Cid Raines, Lightning, Gabranth, or Fang.
For anything else staff-related, I ask again for your patience. I know this is a sudden announcement but you as members have the right to know the condition of the staff. So please do not get angry at the lack of staff duties being performed. It is just unlucky that most of the staff have things going on in their lives.
Remember, our lives are more important than this site. Thank you for reading this sudden announcement.
