Not so much an item as a trait, however it manifests in scrawling symbological tattoos on Fayt's back even when not in use. He possesses scant control over the genetic trait, but he is able to utilize the Destruction Gene to "destroy" a magical item of an opponent. It can be used once per thread, and the magical item in question is restored after the battle ends. Until then, its ability becomes unusable.

* a powered-up sword ability made possible through, again, the destruction gene, it consists of two sword sweeps that send eight shockwaves each in straight lines. the first sweep is aimed upward and has a launching effect, and to follow through fayt jumps into the air and sends a second sweep downward. particularly effective on flying opponents. the attack deals significant damage twenty feet forward in the direction he's facing.
