Character Request Area?

I honestly was going to make a thread in the general board but,I wasn't sure if I should. It would be much more official if staff did it.

If you don't know what I mean.I'll explain..

Why don't we have a section where people can post characters they would like to see people use on Calamitys Cry? They could put the characters name,game , a pic ,and a little about the character and why they want some one to play as them.

I think this would allow more interesting pair ups in the future.

I am torn on this issue.

While I know that there are some people that, as they come into the community and the site, feel obligated to ask what characters we "need" or "want" or something to that effect...

The type of request board you are suggesting would do more harm than good in the future, I think.

Especially if it were staff-run.

We aren't a type of community that forces people to play characters, or demand that roles be filled against their wills. I know you mean good by this suggestion, but the existence of such a board would be more overbearing than anything. People would feel pressured to fill those requests instead of fulfilling their own aspirations for characters to play.

While it's fine to suggest it on your own time with someone who is asking, as long as you don't force them to, of course, as an aspect of the site? The idea holds no water.
