A/N: First chapter is an intro, as to where the main character is, what they're doing and whatnot. All proceeding chapters will be quite.. different XD I'm aiming for every chapter to be 1000 words minimum So anywho, without further adieu, I give you this first chapter! CHAPTER ONE: GOOD NIGHTWritten to: ClickDedications?: Mmmmm, nobody in particular. The woman yawned- or at least she thought she did. She was so tired, every movement now becoming an effort as she felt the presence of her family around her. They were falling asleep too... no- No! that couldn't happen, not yet. She forced her consciousness awake again, projecting her voice as best as she could to everyone. Sazh, Snow, Lightning, Hope.. they didn't need to sleep yet. Wake up she told them, her voice desperate for them to listen, and by some blessed force they did. She could feel them fading from her, and she from them, meaning they were awakening from slumber before it was to late.
However, there was something unmistakeable about one person who woke, Fang could hear frustrated cries, she almost could feel the tears that were falling, sighing, she forced herself to touch the mind of that person. That person who cried for her, who wished Fang to not slumber. As she appeared before the familiar figure she had to smile, she needed to, the pinkette was... so much more fragile than any crystal she'd ever seen, more fragile than a rose, something Fang never wished to shatter. Fang grinned, she walked toward the weeping soldier, and put a hand on her shoulder, kneeling down to her level and making Lightning face her.
"Lightning..." No reply, "Lightning" Again, nothing. "Claire Farron, listen to me." That got her attention. "Look, we're just sayin' goodnight y'hear? This aint goodbye, it never will be. One day yer gonna wake up, an' I'll be next to ya t' say Good Mornin' Sunshine every day. But fer now, we gotta say goodnight in order for there to be a good morning."
The soldier, stopped for a moment and nodded, looking at Fang. Dried her eyes, and hugged her best friend, giving the huntress something to remember her by, a rare show of affection towards a friend. Fang smiled, embracing her friend, returning the gesture happily. So, as Fang felt herself fade away from the consciousness of her friend, she could hear it, just barely but, she heard the woman say
"Goodnight Fang.."

CHAPTER TWO: BLEED REDWritten to: ClickDedication: To anyone who's ever been discriminated against She was in Oerba again, the gentle winds caressed and kissed her skin, the sun warming her back as she stood on the roof of a tall building in her hometown. Beside her a pink haired soldier, a tall blonde giant, and on the opposite side, a silver haired kid, and an older man all standing there in front of the Pulsian masses, gasps of shock and rage filling the air as Fang observed them. Their outrage quite apparent on the faces of the Pulsian people whom resided in Oerba. Hisses of the word viper filled the air alongside many profane statements Fang refused to translate for any of her close friends.
Jumping from the roof got their attention, their eyes locking on the huntress, expecting a valid explanation for why she had brought enemies to the village. She sauntered around them, studying them all, their gazes full of rage towards those four cocoon residents without further adieu, she began to speak, her accented voice breaking through their accusatory whispers. She shut the people up and commanded their complete and undivided attention as she began to explain, began to truly grip them and shake their world, rip them a new one as some would say.
"War, what is it to you? A reason to look like a hero? A reason to gain fame and glory?" Some of the cocky warriors Fang knew nodded and whispered to each other, whilst elders stayed silent, listening still. "What good comes of War? I know more than most of you here, nothing does. I was eight years old and I watched my parents slaughter, I watched my village get slaughtered by those vipers, and yet. Think, just for a moment, those vipers also have families, just how many little kids wont have parents that will come home to them after all of this Huh?" Her voice, it was loud, it possessed emotion beyond what most people giving a public address would.
"Nothing good comes of it, War, it causes heartache and bloodshed, nothing out of it is good. So, why do we fight huh? Do we fight because of fear? Perhaps its time to step away from that fear eh? Suck it up and get to know the enemy, because I did and I sure as hell am glad I did." Lightning then jumped down and landed beside Fang, her azure eyes frozen like ice upon the crowd. Fang looked at Lightning, and smiled, the soldier smiled back in her own particular way.
"What do you see here? Two people correct? We breathe, and live, correct?" the masses nodded, obviously intent on figuring out what Fang's grand scheme was that she was concocting. Out of her hip pouch came a delicate but exceedingly sharp crystal forged blade. She smirked, taking the blade once and slashing open a shallow wound on her hand and then handing the blade to Lightning whom wiped the blade clean and did the same action.
They stood there, presenting their hands to the masses.
They both bled red.
Perhaps the vipers weren't as monstrous as they had seemed..
