My neighborhood was hit head on by a tornado yesterday. We have a long clean up head, so I unfortunately will be absent until the power's back on and things start to straighten out. And I wasn't even able to get started yet. D:

Thanks, guys. We have power now, so I figured I'd toss in an update.
Our county, which is really small, was hit the second hardest in the state, but thankfully we've had no casualties. The thing thankfully lifted up when it passed through our yard, but those down the road weren't so fortunate, and I think we've had a good five to seven houses just disappear, as well as numerous others which have been marked as unlivable (including one with a tree straight through the middle of it and the local middle school, which looks like it's been hit by bombs). A friend of mine was in the shower when his roof was ripped off. Our main problems were the loss of a carport that we just built (which hit, but thankfully didn't damage, our house), the loss of a standalone carport, some vehicle damage, and the loss of all our big trees, so we came out pretty well. Still a lot left to clean up, but we're just waiting for the cut-up trees to be moved right now. I'll be sporadic over the next few days, and I might post some pics when I get a chance.
And we might be hicks from the sticks down here (Greene County, NC), but we sure know how to mobilize and get a place cleaned up. XD Every place affected has had a ton of volunteers. We had a chainsaw posse show up along with a backhoe on Sunday and essentially clean up the yard in two hours when it had taken us the previous two hours to cut up one tree.
So yeah, everything's going pretty well for us and the people whose homes were damaged, as I think all have been provided places to live in certain parts of Greene County.

I hope everything goes alright with the rest of the cleanup. My best wishes for everyone in your county.

That's great to know no one's been hurt. D8 Still horrible of what happened; but it makes it so much better to know there were not casualties..!
Honestly, if I wasn't stuck up in PA, I would be right down there with Fang..!! Wish you luck on your clean up still!
