real big fan of yours ,
"Be a simple kind of man...
Be something you love and understand...
Baby, be a simple kind of man...
Won't you do this for me, son...if you can?"
quite the joke to you ,
"so, hon. welcome to the distorted world.
what's your name?"
"The name is Zack Fair, it's a pleasure to meet you! My old mentor used t'call me Zack the Puppy...but I don't care much for that name. He only called me that 'cause I was just full of energy!"
"ey, that's pretty cute. how old are you, and where are ya affiliated?"
"I'm twenty-three years old and I'm affiliated with myself and my friends, formerly aligned with SOLDIER...until some stuff happened."
"young'un, are you? well then, i can deal. so... how bout you and me go on a date?"
"Whoa, wait. How old are you? Well, I guess a date couldn't hurt. I love a pretty girl who's willing to have a good time!"
"aaand.. what is your specialization?"
"I'm a skilled swordsman, I've got a slick tongue, and I'm a former SOLDIER First-Class, ready to start my career as a mercenary~"
"cool, cool. i guess youre a little talented filly? i like 'em like that."
"Uh...I like to think I'm more than a little talented. But whatever makes you feel better! Being a SOLDIER First-Class wasn't exactly easy business and you had to have at least a little skill to be there. Wait...like me? Who are you, exactly?"
kissed me in your room ,
"and on to the second section! how tall are you, exactly?"
"I'm six feet and three inches tall!"
"ah, just three inches taller. hm. so, what's under your clothes? not that i wont find out for myself."
"I'm pretty muscular, but not so much that it hinders my movement. Angeal was much more impressive than me when it came to feats of strength, but I can wield this buster sword pretty easily, so I guess I can be considered pretty strong! Being a SOLDIER First-Class, it's required that you're strong both mentally and physically, so it's a given that I should be strong at least a little, since they make us train lots. Er...wait a sec...you're gonna find out for yourself? Isn't that a little forward?"
"okay, sorry. let's talk about some.. non - crude things? what's your personal style?"
"I don't typically dress in anything but standard military garb. I usually wear a black SOLDIER uniform complete with short sleeved shirt, baggy pants, and some suspenders over my shoulders to keep my pants up. Some combat boots make combat a little more comfortable as well. But if I'm feeling casual, I'll take on a button-up shirt and some pants, maybe shorts if it's hot out."
"hey, you look like that celebrity... what was the name...?"
"Heh! I guess you could call me a bit of a celebrity. SOLDIER, First-Class Zack Fair!"
"right! i remember now. you look just like them. except better, heh heh..."
"Huh? But I am him. How can I look better than him?"
replied i love you too ,

"soo, do you like or dislike anything?"
"Well, there are lots of things I like, but there's not much I don't like. I guess I can name some of 'em off for you. Well, I love doing squats more than anything. Nothin' like a few squats to strengthen your legs and get you pumped up! I like doing them when I get excited, mostly. I also enjoy a little training from time to time, though I guess that could go under the squats thing. Hmmm...this is a lot tougher than I thought it'd be! Well, I don't care much for sweet foods, really. The occasional sweet treat is fine when I'm feelin' up to it. I love flirting with pretty girls when I get the chance, but for the most part I don't expect it to take off anywhere. Unless sparks fly from the get-go, I'm mostly just lettin' 'em know how pretty they are, or how nice their shoes might look! I just like to be friendly, after all! Let's see...I also like fighting. It just comes natural to me, y'know? With a sword in my hands, maybe a sniper rifle if I have to, I can mow down anyone or anything that stands in my way!
Now, on the topic of things I don't like...definitely when people hurt my friends. I can't stand when the strong put down the weak and just beat them down for no reason at all. If you have a cause and those weaker than you aren't part of it, then just leave 'em alone. Even if they throw rocks at you, call you names, or even hit you with sticks or any other non-lethal thing, you have no right to harm them if you're intruding on their territory. I also don't like it when I have nothing to do, just sittin' around makes me anxious, and I just can't wait to get out and do something! I guess the sweet foods thing doesn't really count for dislikes, 'cause I'll eat 'em when I feel like it. Let's see here...oh! I can't stand conflict between friends. If I get into a fight with a friend, I'll want to end it as soon as possible so we can keep being friends. 'cause something everyone needs in the world is a friend, no matter what."
"ohmyjonas, me too! wow, thats such a coincidence. so have any dirty habits or secrets?"
"Well, I've got a habit of doing squats when I get bored or excited. And secrets? What're you talkin' about? If I told you they wouldn't really be secrets would they? *scowl* Fine. I'll let you in on one little secret, but ya can't tell anyone. I've got a bit of a crush on this girl in Midgar, she sells flowers for a living. I think they're...1 gil a piece? It's been a while since I've seen her...but if you ever see her, give her a gil, buy a flower, and tell her Zack sent you."
"coolness, yo. umm. home dawg. anyways. describe yourself."
"Home dawg? What does that even mean? I digress. A little about myself, hm? Well, I come from Gongaga, it's kind of a backwater little town with a reactor somewhere around it. It's a pretty nice place to live if you enjoy peace and quiet. I haven't been there recently, which makes me feel kinda bad because my mom and dad are there. But they'll get along fine without me, at least for a little while! I was a First-Class SOLDIER for the longest time. I'm a pretty friendly guy most of the time, but if you mess with my friends get ready for a walloping."
"like dude! we're so compatible..."
"Compatible? What's with this interview? Is this a dating service? You know, I don't need a dating service to help me out..."
a little bit insecure ,
"okay, let's rush through this. i'm thinking dancing? then, we can talk about rooms."
"I'm not much of a dancer but I'll try anything once. And why would we need a room? I'm not expecting anything to happen just yet. At least not till I get to know you better, even if you are really pretty~"
"shh, if my boss knew about our secret romance... so. what's your heritage?"
"I grew up in Gongaga with my mother and father. Not much to say other than that!"
"wow, your family would love me! have anyone else in your family?"
"Uh...not really. Pretty much just my mom and dad! Why do you keep sayin' weird stuff like that?"
"oh. sounds horrible. haha. anything else important happen in your life?"
"Ehh...it's all a little fuzzy, to be honest. But I'll give it a shot! When I joined up with Shinra and climbed the ranks through SOLDIER, I met a man named Angeal. He taught me a lot of things, but protecting your honor as SOLDIER was one of the most important he'd ever taught me. Never defy orders. Never stray from your dreams. Most of all, never betray yourself! Though, while in the slums of Midgar I did meet this really pretty girl who I got to know. Eventually, I kinda developed a bit of a crush on her...but I didn't get to see her as much as I'd like. I always kept my mind on the bright side of things though! I was fighting to keep her safe, as well as anyone else who needed to be kept safe. When I became SOLDIER First-Class, it was kinda nice to be looked upon with pride and adoration, I have to admit. I was never able to quite shed the "Puppy" title I'd gotten from Angeal, though. It's not my fault that I'm so energetic!
Anyway. While on a mission one time, I met this interesting guy named Cloud. Turns out, he was from a backwater town just like me! Something like...Nibelheim, I think? In any case, we became really good pals and I got to know him after going on some missions with him. In more unfortunate events, my mentor and friend Angeal became a monster due to failed experiments from Shinra....and I ended up having to kill him. In his dying will, he handed me the Buster Sword, his most prized and cherished of items. It was something he based on his pride...his hopes...and his dreams. His family had saved up for years to buy him that sword, and he believed that using it in anything but a dire situation would cause wear, tear, and rust. So it wasn't until a time when he really felt in a jam that he used it. Normally he would just use standard issue swords.
But I'm probably boring you with all this, huh? I'm almost done, I promise. There was this guy named Sephiroth, he was the strongest man ever to walk the planet as far as everyone was concerned. But I could fight on par with the guy if I wanted. But honestly? Nobody could beat him. He was...almost like a monster. And when he found out about some experiments that created him..? All hell broke loose. He burned down Nibelheim and while flames spouted up around me, I could only watch in horror and disbelief. Tifa...I wouldn't expect her to ever forgive me or Shinra for what they did. If I'd only seen it comin' beforehand...maybe I could've stopped it. And I tried, believe me. I went to Nibelheim's Mako Reactor and tried to put a stop to Sephiroth's apparent madness...but he was able to defeat me pretty easily. But luckily, Cloud was able to defeat him by tossing him against a wall after being impaled on his sword, though maybe that part's just a figment of my imagination. It's all a little fuzzy 'cause I was kinda, y'know, half dead from fighting a living legend.
After being taken in for some kinda testing, I don't remember much aside from breaking out of the test tube after a long while of being in one. I didn't even know and couldn't even tell how long I'd been in there and Cloud...poor guy. He'd been poisoned by Mako because of prolonged exposure to the stuff. But if he made it out without serious damage, he'd certainly be a fine SOLDIER! In any case, it's all a blur of fighting after that...and my last moments...well...I made Cloud my living legacy...and gave him the Buster Sword. I was gunned down by multiple soldiers and the rest is history. I'm back now...and I dunno why. But I bet fate's got some kinda plan for me!"
"hey, look! we're done. so, i would ask you on a second date, but i'm about to explode. no, really. please step back."
"A second date? This wasn't much of a date, I did most of the talking! Wait...you're gonna explode? You gonna be alright? Do I have to take you to a hospital or somethin'?"
of this mistreatment ,

rp sample. The rain had never felt so hard against his back and shoulders. He was on a mission to clear out some monsters that had been harassing the townspeople as of late. Normally, it wouldn't be the problem of a First-Class SOLDIER to handle this kind of thing, but the monster was a dragon of sorts. A big green lizard with wings that could, apparently, breathe fire. At least it was raining! He sat in the back of a large truck with a cover over the back, two other soldiers sitting with guns clutched close to their chests. Zack turned to look at them both, clearly nervous about the mission and probably because of his own presence. "What's up, guys? You nervous? No worries, as long as I'm here, I'll make sure nothin' happens to you." He said, jabbing his thumb against his own chest and sticking it out proudly. The two soldiers seemed unphased by this, clutching their guns a bit tighter as Zack spoke to them, drawing a concerned frown from the SOLDIER.
"Sir...the fact that you're here means this mission is especially dangerous. We're just foot soldiers...and we know how you First-Class SOLDIER guys like your glory and fame..." The man said, his head tilted aside, the deep red glowing eyes of the helmet turning to gaze aside. Those helmets...they gave even Zack the chills. They were almost robotic with their looks. A single red circular shape sitting in the center of a dome, three red glowing lights in the center of the circle created an eye-like look. It was chilling to see them in action. He blinked at the response he got and felt a little embarassed at the fact that First-Class had been viewed that way. "Heh...I guess some of us have earned that title...but I'm tellin' you...not all of us are like that. We fight to keep everyone safe, including the "foot soldiers" as you so gracefully put it." Zack said, sighing and taking a seat next to the man, who tensed up before slowly relaxing once more.
"A SOLDIER protects his honor, no matter what. That's what my mentor taught me. Embrace your dreams and never let go of them, chase them if they seem to slip out of your hands. That's somethin' never to forget, especially if you want into SOLDIER." Zack said, a friendly smile slipping across his lips as he tapped his temple lightly, leaning back in his seat. The soldier next to him eased up a bit, seeming to get more comfortable sitting around. "Uh...sir...what...what's your dream?" Asked the more meek of the two, who was sitting on the other side of the car. Zack blinked softly at him and smiled warmly, "Sir? Just call me Zack. No need to be so formal! And my dream? I just wanna be a hero, to help as many people as I can and live through the day. I'll live my life to the fullest for my mentor...and for my friends and comrades!" He lightly patted the shoulder of the man next to him before standing up slowly and walking over to the edge of the truck, glancing outside. It was afternoon, but one would think it was night with how cloudy it was. The rain did nothing for the visual setting, either.
Suddenly, the truck came to a skidding halt, nearly sending Zack over the edge and into the muddy road. "We've got a problem! W-well...we found the monster, at least!" Zack was already off the truck and moving to the front, drawing a confused stare from the driver and the other two soldiers jumped out, scrambling to get to the front of the truck to look upon the beast before them. Water ran from its scales and it stared down at them through bright yellow eyes. "Heh...this thing's the target? You guys keep a safe distance and shoot at the thing's wings. We don't want it getting away. I'll go for the legs and the chest. Go!" Zack called out, rushing forward with surprising agility for how rainy it was. It pelted him like somebody pushing down upon him and he withdrew the standard issue sword from his back, the silvery blade flashing in the headlights. He heard the gunfire and saw the flare of bullets tearing through the dark sky and into the dragon's wings, tearing apart the webbing and drawing a confused, pained roar from the creature.
As Zack drew within striking distance, his entire body twisted and his hands gripped the hilt of his sword firmly before tearing through scaly flesh with surprising ease. He ripped tendon and muscle alike, cutting to the bone and tearing it free of the skin, drawing a scream from the creature. It brought a claw up, swiping at Zack, who was batted aside but thankfully not scratched by those claws. The dragon clambered over to the other two soldiers and the truck, slamming itself into the truck and nearly tipping it over as it skidded back in the mud several feet. One of the soldiers became pinned beneath the lizard's massive claws and Zack stood up slowly, wiping his mouth of a bit of blood. He saw the flickering of flames licking at its maw...instantly adrenaline began to pump through his veins, watching as the beast lowered its head for a point blank flamethrower attack. The other soldier was panicking, unable to do anything but watch as his partner and friend was about to be vanquished before his very eyes.
"Not today!" Zack growled, lunging forward and thrusting the tip of his blade into the underside of the creature's jaw, jerking its head quickly to the side. His eyes flickered blue as he used every ounce of strength in his body to move the creature's head away from the soldier and a spray of fire shot out into the afternoon rain, creating a veil of steam as the pelting rain ripped through the fire, instantly dissipating as it touched the flames. Tearing the blade free of the underside of the monster's jaw, he spun around, swinging the sword through the ankle of the claw that had the soldier pinned, causing it to be lifted up. He then twirled the blade around, puncturing the dragon's chest before jumping up with a powerful push of his legs, ripping the scaly flesh with ease before landing in a crouched position, panting heavily as the beast fell with one final death roar.
He turned to see the two, shaken but still alive and unharmed aside from some minor cuts. "M-mission accomplished! Y'see? I told ya nothing would happen!" Zack laughed nervously, rubbing the side of his neck and slipping the sword in his hand back into a small sheath upon his back. "Let's get you two some medical attention, make sure you're alright and get on our way back home!" The black haired man said, slipping his arms around each of their shoulders as he led them to the back of the truck once more. They couldn't help but stare in awe of his power..the power of a First-Class SOLDIER.
