He assumed he was on here to be kept a close eye on. Truth be told, he never was on a manor before. The castle of Aireyglyph was a underdeveloped medieval castle while this was more modern, and not quite a castle. Gabranth was nice enough not to knock him completely unconscious and allowed him to stay here. But, if he wanted to challenge Gabranth again, he would need to be stronger.
However, there were some interesting fellows on this manor. Albel was getting the appetite of battle once more, and he could hardly contain it. This was a familiar feeling, like that of Besaid, when he met that weakling of a girl and that solider girl. She was the first female in awhile that actually wasn't boring. Albel placed his claw on the hilt of his sword, as if ready to hack the air in front of him.
Despite just having recently recovered, he felt like he was ready to challenge anyone, aside from Gabranth of course. Albel stopped when he reached a fairly open expanse of Gabranth's manor. Little did Albel knew, though he should have expected it, he was about to dirty some part of this open expanse to a worthy opponent.

WHY WON'T SOMEONE COME AND SAVE ME FROM THIS It was strange for him really, to be walking around with no purpose. But out of all things, Cloud hated to be bored. He got antsy if he had nothing to do, and while he was grateful to Gabranth for giving him lodging in his own home—that was practically a castle—there was the painful sting of boredom settling in that he despised. On days like this, he didn’t mind so much if he was out, even if it was walking through the city, he was at least doing his job, but here, he needed to be doing something.
Sleep crossed his mind numerous of times. It’s not like it would hurt him if he took a nap, but as proved previously, rest could be easily interrupted by an assassin. If he wasn’t doing something...that irritating noise settled in. It reminded him too much as when...as when Jenova was still around with Sephiroth. After the incident with the Temple of Ancients, that noise had been piercing, so why was it slowly coming back?
Pausing in his walk, he stopped and closed one of his eyes before massaging his ear, as if too sooth it, and he swore that the high pitch noise turned into a growl before fading completely. Blinking in surprise, mostly on account he wasn’t expecting it to work, he continued on his little stroll through here. Even though he was in the walls of this place and it was day, Cloud had his weapon, though it was separated into three, in its sheath on his back, he didn’t trust most that were in this manor, he trusted Gabranth, but he didn’t trust the others.
Opening the door, he walked into the large expansion that Cloud could only truthfully call the Garden of the place. It was large open area, with some flowers growing in assorted area’s with cobblestone pathways to walk on, there was even a fountain in the area. Out of everywhere in this place, he liked it the most. His gaze softened as he looked at the flowers, remembering the maiden in pink with bright green eyes and a beautiful smile on her face.
She would’ve loved to see the flowers here.
Hearing the door open on the other side of the courtyard, his eyes sharpened as they shot over to the newcomer. Narrowing them at him, he kept his face emotionless, “Lost?” He voiced, his tone rather blank.

Albel didn't even notice him. Silent as an assassin, and quick as one. He truly was like Nel, except male, obviously. Albel turned to him and liked what he saw. He was devoid of emotion. There were only two kinds of people that were devoid of emotion. One, they were a puppet, a useless slave for someone else. the second was that they were powerful enough to hide their own emotion.
"Lost? You look a lot more lost than I do, fool." Albel said. That was about as friendly of a greeting Cloud would ever get from him. Then Albel noticed something. That was one huge sword. Albel let out one of his signature wicked grins. Finally, a cure for his never-ending want to fight. "I've been a bit antsy lately." He said, grinning even wider.
To show the man what he meant, his claw gripped the hilt of the sword and removed it slightly. This man wanted a fight, obviously, and he would either get one or he would end up getting one. If Cloud was indeed bored enough, he would accept Albel's rather blunt and crude challenge and they would wreck the place up, hopefully, without Gabranth knowing.

WHY WON'T SOMEONE COME AND SAVE ME FROM THIS Cloud cocked his head to one side. No manners, what a surprised, the blond resisted the urge to roll his eyes at the obvious display. This just seemed like another person who was cocky and full of themselves, itching for a fight for no other reason because it was equivalent and for a child to run or play outside.
Glancing around he took in his surroundings, not knowing what else, after all, Gabranth never really explained the rules to Cloud once he was within his home, besides the obvious, ones like ‘Knock before entering’ and ‘don’t break anything’. He couldn’t recall Gabranth saying no fighting on the premises, considering that the Blond fought an assassin just a few nights ago. He supposed this could just lye with the excuse of self defence anyway. After all, the other male challenged him, even though Cloud had no idea who this guy was, but he was sure it wasn’t an assassin.
No one, no matter how idiotic, would allow themselves to be caught if it was truly an assassination.
Reaching behind his, he grabbed the long red handle of his, incomplete, blade and pulled it out from its sheath, the other two on his back staying in there holster’s, for now at least, it all depended on the situation. Holding the large blade easily with one arm he brought it forward and grasped the handle with his other hand, before sliding into his stance, his legs easily shift, his right leg sliding behind him, the knee bending slightly to take on most of his shifted weight.
His eyes narrowed as a small bit of green flared into them, the mako rushing through his system at the prospect of fighting. Pushing off from his back leg with incredible speed, he erased the distance between the two of them easily enough and swung his sword in a one armed, horizontal slash towards the other’s abdomen approaching from the right.

The man was of few words, obviously, though Albel didn't really feel like talking in the middle of a battle. However, this was more like a spar than a battle since Albel didn't plan on killing him...that was a lie, though. Albel treated every battle like he was out to kill because, once you don't, you lose. However, he would definitely try not to kill him, for he doubted Gabranth wanted a dead man in the middle of his manor.
However, Albel sized the man up and figured he wasn't one for dropping like a fly. Gabranth didn't seem like the kind of man to allow weaklings to walk freely among his manor. The man drew his incomplete sword as Albel drew his own, thin Katana. Despite it being so seemingly frail, it had matched the heaviest of swords and as not once broken.
However, Albel did keep it in prime condition. The man was quick, even with that sword, and say the energy flowing into his eyes. Albel liked this energy. However, the man wasn't even trying as Albel parried his blade nicely. It stung a little But such was the life of battle. Albel countered the move by putting much energy into slicing his sword against Cloud in hopes to gain distance between them as he striked again, this time, hoping to shoot him into the air.

WHY WON'T SOMEONE COME AND SAVE ME FROM THIS Getting thrown into the air was not something that was uncommon with Cloud as one may think. It was an awkward sensation, but it wasn’t all that uncommon, as his testament in the fight with Kadaj and his brothers. They were clones of a being that was no way human anymore, not with the amount of Mako and Jenova cells he had in him since even before his birth, the clones followed after him in that, and while Cloud had a vast amount of mako and Jenova cells within his as well, he only had the exposure of them for five years, not for most of his life.
He liked to think he was still relatively human.
Being launched into the air, Cloud twisted his body, his free hand crackling with electricity, before he threw that arm forward sending a thunder spell straight towards the male. It was still strange to him, to use magic without the assistance of Materia which was before, how he and numerous of others had used magic. As crystallized of the Lifestream it was repeatedly warned not to let it come in contact with your skin when you used it, cause as it did so it had the risk...
Of sinking into your own skin.
And having that much mako sink into a body that didn’t have any previous exposure to it could easily kill.
As gravity began to kick in, Cloud used it to his advantage and shifted his body once more as he began his descent , raising his sword above his head, as the tainted green flared into his iris’, he swung down towards the other in a vertical slash, gravity and velocity, sometimes the most deadly combo one needed in a fight. Cloud has gotten into fights for the majority of his life, he knew little things like that.

That looked strikingly like Runology, but Albel had very little time to think about that. Albel tried to move from the electricity, but it came too fast, hitting him on his right side, causing a burn to appear from the lightning as well as a jolt. Albel didn't pay much attention that it also caught part of his hip, where part of his 'skirt' was being held. It was still attached, but if the battle continued, or if Cloud somehow struck the same place, it would fall.
This strategy would work, if Albel planned on parrying it with his sword. Albel knew he was fast, but the boy was coming down faster. Running would have a high percentage of that sword cutting down into his back, which could lead to a serious wound. Albel quickly switched his arm sword and jumped to meet him half way. This way, gravity wouldn't be as powerful as if Albel waited.
Albel's gauntlet, free from the sword, stretched out menacingly to block the sword. If it connected, Albel would feel a sharp pain in his gauntlet shaking against his severely burned arm. However, if he caught Cloud off guard a little, he would take and throw that sword to the side and would bring his sword down towards the man's exposed side.

This was one of the reason’s why Cloud hated hand-to-hand fighters, but considering that he fought and learned from Tifa on the matter, he wasn’t so bitter on them anymore. But still, things like that just pissed him off. There was only one reason he would block with his gauntlet. Using the handle of his weapon, he quickly twisted the other way as it was pulling out of his grip and the sword shot towards him.
Fabric tore, blood leaked forth from its escape route and once his feet connected with the cobblestone pathway, he jumped backwards to gain distance, as he reached behind him and pulled out the two remaining blades he had upon his person, one for each hand. He was going to return the favour.
He ignored the blood that was trailing down his chest, it was a huge injury and it didn’t get very deep, but it had ripped through his shirt cleanly which should be expected from a dance with a sword strike. Pushing off again he headed back towards the opponent, he stabbed forward with one so that it aimed just a bit higher where the gauntlet was, if it went correctly and he blocked Cloud would then swing the free sword towards his open side, if the other blocked both, they would be as a stalemate.

Albel smirked a little, with one slash of his gauntlet and the blood that dripped down on the very tips of his gauntlet were gone. He couldn't let the blood oxidize and rust his gauntlet, after all. Albel could somewhat predict Cloud's movements. However, Albel made a good decision, based on his experience. He knew his armored gauntlet would withstand to his attack, just in case if he was right.
It turned out it paid off quite well. Albel hissed at the pain but he managed to block a possibly fatal injury. If Gabranth were to come, he would notice that this was no spar - they were out for each other's throats. Honestly, Albel would like it no other way. Albel countered the attack by swinging his sword, hopefully to make Cloud skid to give them distance.
Albel growled slightly as he heard a snap from the gauntlet. Cloud was about to get his wish for disliking hand to hand combat. Albel shrugged off the gauntlet, revealing her severely burned arm. Albel placed both hands onto the sword. It started to glow a demonic aura as he slashed his sword vertically, the demonic aura coming towards Cloud at a fast rate.

He felt no thrill in this like the other was certainly feeling. It was just another fight with another person who craved it so much that he would get too cocky from winning so many fights. Fighting was second nature to Cloud, it was like breathing.
Seeing the attack come towards him, he knew that he couldn’t dodge it in time so, he raised his arms and crossed them as the attack hit. As it passed, blood dripped out of numerous of lacerations, even a large one on his right cheek, as his shirt was now completely ruined. Reaching up he grasped the piece of fabric (as that was all it was now) with his fingers before pulling it off of his form as tossing it away, leaving him half-naked in this large garden like area.
Moving forward, his body practically on automatic as he headed forward and swung his sword in his left hand as his right was curled back, electricity crackling around his fingers that were around the hilt, before swiping forward with his other blade, the electricity transferring up from his fingers and over and across the blade itself.

This was not much difference with him and Cloud - except in the way they fought. Albel craved for battle when cloud did it automatically. Albel didn't care if he didn't scream, didn't plead for mercy, because that was a sign of weakness. Albel loved to fight strong opponents. Ugh, that damn lightning again. Albel could think for a split moment. which would would hurt more?
Albel countered the non-electrical blade by rushing forward to meet it, but leaving him open for his lightning attack. Albel lifted the blade up slightly to catch some of the attack. However, that allowed the electrical blade to cut into his shoulder and electrocute Albel slightly. He hissed at the pain as blood started to flow freely out of the wound.
With how they were sword locked at the moment, Albel was at a disadvantage. However, he had to get out of it. It was a cheap shot, but he had to gain some distance. Albel quickly lifted his leg to kick Cloud away and, successful or not, he got the distance gain he wanted, and ended up closing it again, striking his sword vertically, starting from his right leg to his left arm-sword.

The prospect of tormenting his new boss's little soldier boy was just too entertaining for Xigbar to ignore. As each man made a final slash with their weapons, a slim rip between dimensions opened up just long enough for a gloved hand to yank the weapons from their unsuspecting wielders. He deposited them just out of sight down the hallway, before he himself walked around a corner from the opposite direction. Why let on that he was the one who did it? Nobody knew how he got around anyways; they'd have no idea.
"Well, ain't this a surprise. Who's that, your boyfriend?" Xigbar taunted, jumping into the air and sitting on the wall as though some invisible chair were there, his yellow eye blazing with interest. He wore his Radiant Garden suit, and was tightening his white gloves around his wrists as he spoke. Yep, nobody would have a clue as to where those black gloves came from. "Don't mind me; I'm just here to watch and make sure you two idiots don't cause too much collateral. Go back to fighting, I won't tell."
Oh, yes. He was going to have fun picking the two of them apart from here. Lots and lots of fun.

WHY WON'T SOMEONE COME AND SAVE ME FROM THIS Moving back to avoid the kick, his body tensed as the other came towards him with a sword slash, however, that never made contact as both that sword and his two own were suddenly taken away, ripped from grasp that they had around them. Hearing that irritating voice, Cloud looked over his shoulder to the man that truly had no honour. Vincent was a better marksman anyway...
He wanted them to fight huh? Well, no thanks, Cloud could fight hand-to-hand, it was not a problem, but he didn’t do it for sport, especially not in front of others. Straightening up, he turned his head and spit off to the side, before turning around and walking away. The other could take this as a forfeit if he wanted, Cloud didn’t care, he wasn’t going to fight for someone’s entertainment, especially not for someone like him.
Picking up his main blade that was discarded some time ago, he placed it in the sheath that he still had on his back, even though his shirt was ruined and thus missing. The blond haired male, then headed for the doorway which he had entered from before this whole thing had started and opened the door, pausing to look over his shoulder to send a glare to Xigbar, “Find your entertainment elsewhere.” He said blankly and left, shutting the door behind him.
Leaning back against the door, he stared down at his hands as they were shaking slightly.
”Why...did you stop?
