Idk I realllly wanna do a oneshot of these two idk why.
"Mei-Mei." Shimei flinched. Dammit. Mendori caught her. "It's one thing to knock a guy out...but it's one thing to knock a guy out because he brushed against you." The red-head stared at her green-haired friend. "He was SO doing it on purpose! I just gave the pervert what he deserved!" The red head snapped, causing the others' eyes to narrow.
"Mei-Mei...he did it on accident..." Mendori spoke, sighing. Shimei crossed her arms in refusal to admit it was an accident. "We should talk about your boy-hating tendencies...and how not to attempt to kill any in a 30 foot radius." Shimei snickered at her. "Not going to happen. Besides, women are so much hotter. Right Dori~" Shimei cooed, earning another sigh from Mendori.
"C'mon - we have a show to perform for. You excited?" Mendori decided to drop the subject of the guy currently unconscious from the ground - at least Shimei was nice enough not to summon her lance this time. A wide smirk came on Shimei's face as her eyes seemed to be lit on fire. "I am. We finally got that bitch's approval to let us do a dual-act!"
Mendori's eyes narrowed. "She's our superior, Mei-Mei! Don't refer to her as a 'bitch'. She'll tan your hide if she heard you say that." Shimei groaned. Once more was she lectured by the song bird. "Did you just stare at my ass?" Shimei suddenly said, staring at a boy that had just recently passed them. Shimei was fast but Mendori was faster, catching Shimei's waist before she could pounce on him.
"Let me at him Mendori! I swear I HATE men! They're nothing but perverted bastards who want nothing but to hurt women! They only care about pleasuring themselves! Absolutely NO respect at all for the opposite gender!" Shimei hissed. Mendori was barely keeping her grip on the other but it was enough for the male to get the message and run from the two.
When he was out of sight, Mendori lost her grip and Shimei was gone. "Why did Percy give Shimei a Leopard instead of a Cheetah?" Mendori murmured, already starting to run. Maybe an Elephant; Shimei had quite a sharp memory and the image of the boy was probably burned into her mind for all eternity. She only hoped she would find her before she really DID kill him.
Mendori's running sped up two-fold when she saw something glint white in the air and a lance, completed surrounded by fire, appear in the sky. She knew there was only one person with a weapon that worked like that...and also that meant she found the boy she was looking for. Mendori skidded to a halt, however, when she saw Shimei, holding her lance, but had stopped in the middle of the road.
The lance quickly left as swiftly as it came, leaving only a skull pin which she placed upon her hair. Mendori looked in front of her and gasped, slowly coming closer to Shimei. In front of them was a beautiful woman, in a golden dress, wearing a fairly realistic cat mask. It looked almost like it was real...but they were known as the Masked Ones for a reason.
"We're starting practice training in five minutes. You both are to report to Percy immediately." She spoke. Mendori could practically hear the grinding of Shimei's teeth. "Don't make a fool of our name, Outsider. Percy's kindness is too great." The woman with the mask left, seemingly to blend with the crowd, despite her odd looks.
"Dammit...! The only woman I can't stand..." Shimei growled. Mendori sighed as she approached Shimei and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Let's do this. You've got a dance to do and I've got some singing to do as well. You ready to wow the crowd with our dual-act?" Mendori said, smiling as Shimei turned to her, a small smirk on her lips.
"Yeah. Let's kick ass, Bluebird." How odd was the combination of a bluebird and a leopard, but somehow, together, it would work.
