We all fight them, those bosses that make you want to pull out your hair and bash in your skull. Out of pure curiosity what boss gave you the most trouble out of all the Final Fantasy Games you have ever played?
So far for me it was the second time you battle Edea in eight. Why? Because she kept spamming death, and she always killed my character when she casted it. I was to lazy to junction death to my status defense, so I kept running in scream in rage. After that it was definitely Zodiark in twelve. Every time I got him down to critical health he was like IMMUNE TO ALL DAMAGE, SPAM DARKJA EVERY THREE SECONDS, KILL YOUR ENTIRE PARTY, START LUL'ING. And on top of that he had insane damage. I ended up grinding like twenty levels before I was able to beat him. (I used the lame grinding cheat in the mines like ten feet away from Zodiark. lululululululul.)

Havnt had too much trouble with bosses, but for me its the very final boss in FF9. 2 of my characters had levels which were multiples of 5, and i couldnt be bothered levelling them up one more time, so basically they died at the start every time.
That on top of his "bring down to 1 hp" moves along with inflict all statuses in the game move made it kinda hard for me to revive characters and keep them alive for more than 10 seconds.

Tonberry King in 8.
You have to fight HOW many Tonberries in a row before he shows up? You have to fight him after another Tonberry's kicked your ass around?

Sin's Mouth. However I think I only found it hard because I kept spamming attacks that made my characters have less turns. Therefore the mouth would open and kill everything up in the place.
First time I played XII Dr. Cid drove me insane he kept killing Ashe who was my main white magic user.
Thats about it

Which form of Seymour was at the top of Mt. Gagazet?
Omnis? Flux? I dunno. But at the time I happened to be eight or nine levels under what I should have been, and until I realized that he kept TWO-SHOTTING ME and there is nothing as annoying as watching that man smite your party. I SWEAR. But then I gained four levels and beat him. |D
I was borrowing the copy, so I was on a tight schedule.

Atropos + some white magic always peeved me off in that fight. There's also Yunalesca but she's such a %$$^&$%^&... it was a good way of playing with the whole Zombie status effect though.

Auric I thought the Tonberry King was easy! I easily took out the Tonberry before it got to me with demi/Squall's rapeage. And by the time I got the the Tonberry King my team was chillin' out, and of course the guy doesn't deal much damage. Just had a lot of HP.
>> GATLING GUN! Cid's rooks were a pain. Specially how they casted reflect and my first reaction is to spam AOE spells. That didn't go over to well. :v I don't really remember Famfrit, but like all espers he was probably more trouble then he was worth.
Oh god I got stuck on Seymour at Mt whateverallIknowisthatRonsoslivehere because I was under leveled. I got bored of fighting regular monsters
I killed Zodiark (XII) for the first time recently. No me gusta. It took me like ten tries, because when he gets low on HP he keeps throwing up pailings and spamming Darkja (Which has a chance to insta-kill). And if you lose you have to trek all the way through the Henne Mines again.

Fun Fact for XII: Reflect on Party + Spam AOE on party makes every fight much easier.
As for Tonberry...
Go for him as soon as you're able. LIKE FOR SRS. Once he's in your face, he STAYS in your face.

I went after King Tonberry as soon as I got the Garden to fly, and like I said he wasn't very hard. I was like BASH BASH BASH.
Also I was using healing magics on my own party because it's so much easier then items, so reflect & casting on self doesn't work.

Cast reflect on the enemy and on you. That way EVERYONE has reflect. Now when you need to heal, use the healing magic on THEM and it bounces back at you and heals your party (if you're using a AOE healing magic).
Keep your party grouped and it works like a charm. Really only good on bosses (then again, bosses are the only ones you need to actually think for).

That's a really good strategy until something goes wrong, like you mess up or the boss casts dispel and you mess up some more. Also it seems like a lot of work. Still really lazy. On the flip side if you used the right equipment you would never have to bother with using things like casting reflect, cept on the boss. Eh... I might try it out against the next non-super boss I fight. Lul I only have two super bosses left in XII

TBH i had troble with any of the bosses because i just Spam the same attack. I'd say Feral Chos from Dissdia 012 was annoying. He was not hard to kill he just took soooooo long.
FF13 was a cake walk. Apart from the final La-cie mission. Now that was hard. Although Triple Sentianl 4TW.
FF12 i have not completed although i have not tried Zodiak yet, although my fiancee was screaming at the tv when she tried. (I just loled XD)
