Tenenth stood there at the bar, tired from helping person after person. Always doing what they wanted, what they order. He was sick with it.
He Ordered the strongest drink they had behind the bar. A twenty year old gin. He put the glass to his mouth and drank it with one gulp. It was rough on his throat and calmed his nerves enough for him to regain some thinking capacity and ordered a second drink. It was a light beer but nice enough in this heat.
He sat there in the smoke filled bar. Watching the whispers shimmer against the refracted sunlight against the glass windows. He pulled out a cigarette of his own and lighted it with the fireplace that was in the corner.
Tenneth did not bend down to the fire to light his cigarette, he instead summoned the fire from the fire place to the tip of his cigarette. Watching the tobacco catch light he let the fire stream along his smoky breathe making him look like a small dragon.
He turned back to the bar noticing that there was a new addition to the pub. A young woman in a cloak sitting by the bar. He watched the other men eye her up and decided that saving her from the hassle might be a good idea.
Although she could handle herself looking at the hidden blades she carried he was not to sure how the other “conmen” folk would handle her.
He approached the woman with a casual walk and decided that ideal chit chat was the best thing to start with.
“What would you like to drink?” this way they can both have a drink and sit down together. Although he did not have to say another word to her, being polite is the best way to keep other people from danger.

She had found her way to the city known as Alexandria from Midgar where she had awoken. Lucky for her there where many people that would willingly pay her for slicing the necks of others for some gil. After quite a few heads had been cleft from their necks she had left as the authorities where getting close to her. The cloak she had was pulled over her face as she had entered the town earlier the day before.
Wandering into the bar she had sat down and ordered a rather stiff drink. Paying the barkeep she had drank it down in a single stiff gulp. Her swords hung off each side of the barstool as she finished off the first drink. There where several occasions during the night she was approached by a man who offered to buy her a drink. Each time she would turn them away with a sharp glare and her left hand on her sword hilt in case they wanted trouble.
Her demeanor was rather surly until she was approached by a rather well cultured man. She noticed him approach from the corner of her eye from underneath her hood. Attention had been turned to him as he had witnessed his use of magic to lit his cigarette. Which was rather impressive to her, but she had seen many others do it in the past. When she heard him ask if she would like something to drink she would put on a smile and turn her face toward him. "I would love a drink. Especially from someone like you and not this uncultured filth that surrounds us."
As she spoke she would set a hand on her sword hilt. Something of a defense mechanism on her part.

Tenneth was used to idle threats and people being cautious around him. As she slid her hand down her side, his eyes trailed closely behind.
He admired her body for what it was worth although it was obvious by the blood stains on them, she was either a mercenary or a murderer. Either job meant killing someone but the later did it because they did. God did Tenneth hope she was not a murderer.
He ordered her a refill on her drink and sat down next to her summoning a few sphere's around him to show her he to had a way of protecting himself. He made them run around the room dancing between the smoke reflecting the light.
Although they looked like normal Glass Sphere's there were infact a compress amount of magic in physical form. This was Tenneths way of using magic, he made an orb and compressed a natural element inside them. His magik was so unique he had not seen another user like him, apart from his master.
He moved one orb into the fire place. He sent his energy with it, forcing the fire to become part of his magic and summoned it back to him.
He grasped the orb and presented it to the woman. “Well you know now what I can do. I will not harm you unless you harm me.” It mentally forced the orb back into the fireplace and realised his hold on it.
The fire gave a slight resistance then became larger heating the room. Although it was stuffy, it was a nice warmth.
“So what are you doing in Alexandria? I have seen many mercenary's, I to am a mercenary but I have not seen many in this area.” He added a small smile, “Unless your in here for business? Is so I may be able to help”
Although he hated killing he really didn't care as long as it put food on the table. He took a long drink from his glass. Then waited for the woman’s reply. This would be a very interesting event for Tenneth.

Lin watched the mans movements carefully. Each quirk each subtle movement he did she was watching. After he reordered her drink she gave him a subtle nod and as soon as the drink was refilled she would grab the drink. As she would take a long drink of it she would watch his magical manipulations of his spheres.
When he spoke up toward her and stated so long as she made no movements of hostility than he would not attack her. With that she would ease up on her sword and her hand would rest upon her thigh. "Sounds like a plan... I do not believe this bar owner would like this place being destroyed by the fight that would happen between the two of us..."
With her words spoken she would return to her drink. Listening to him speak about being a mercenary she would give him a sideways look and would speak up after he finished speaking. "You can say I am a mercenary specializing in the more seedy arts... As for my business here I doubt that you would be able to assist with anything. Mostly cause as I said I am a stalker and silencer of men."
With her words spoken she would lower her hood exposing her hair and face to Tenneth. Flashing him a smile she would finish off the drink again. "Thank you for the drink by the way."

“A silencer of men you say?” well this was an interesting piece of information. This meant she was a hired killer. Well that meant she was a comrade, in a way.
“So you are as interesting as I thought and please someone in your line of work deserves a good chat once in a while” Tenneth tried to play it cool. He disliked cold blooded killers although he had never had the chance to talk to one. Maybe this was his chance.
“So how does your job actually work? I mean do you have a starting price, a way to contact you. That kind of thing?” He had never really found it interesting but he thought “Why not? Its not every day you get to talk to a killer?”
Before she could say her reply he looked around and noticed he was being watched by a lot of people and decided that moving this chat to another location might be a better idea.
He saw an empty booth, in the corner. “I think we should move our little chat to another more quite location?” He indicated to the empty booth with his left hand and moved his right hand to take her arm.
He was a gentleman, so why should he not act like one?
He awaited her hand and prepared the magic his master had taught him. He felt the air vibrate with his power, it rippled around them. He knew that no one in the bar was powerful enough to sense his magic, although either way he was going to be careful and made sure the flowing power only rapped around them two.
Tenneth turns his eyes to stare into the deep amber and quietly whispered just enough so she could hear him. “Do not pay attention to what I am doing. It is for much my benefit as it is yours.” He would tell her what he had done when they reached the booth but he could not tell her while he was concentrating on his Magic.

Hearing him speak of an interesting chat with her made her quirk her brow. It was true she had quite a few interesting tales she would occasionally indulge other in. Usually that would only be others inside her profession and usually she would kill them afterwards. When he started talking about how one would get into contact with her and how she would get paid. Things became tense once again for her. Most people who asked that where either looking for trouble or to hire her. Which it was from this man she would have to see.
Glancing around the room she noticed a few eyes where lingering on herself and her new companion. About to reach for her blade she heard Tenneth speak up saying they should go to a corner booth. Looking back into Tenneth's eyes she smiled at him and nodded to him. "Yes good idea... It seems we are starting to draw a crowd..."
So she walked over to the booth her glass still in her hand. Sitting in the corner being able to keep an eye on the door from the position. Awaiting for Tenneth to sit down she would speak. "Alright what is it all that you want to know?"

Tenneth moved the magic with them, as they sat down he created a wall of air between them and the other customers. They could talk and shout all they wanted and no one would hear them. With the magic sent in place he sat down and started on something else.
“Before I answer your question, I would like to have some fresh air” He then made two orbs, one he sent to the window, to unlock it and allow some fresh air into there own space, the second he sent around collecting the left over smoke.
When the orb was full he sent it out the window, popping like a smoking sneeze.
He had to smile at this then turned back to his companion.
“So were was I? Ah yes, well I have never met another person that kills people and feel no regrets, I'd like to get to know my fellow collages” He let out a small smile and glared deep into her eyes.
“As you can see, I have many talents around magic, although I have not met a person who has used mundane weapons in such a long time it intrigues me.” he realised he had to explain more about what he was talking about.
“You could say I am a scholar mercenary, I like to learn about my competition and try to see if I can help them, that way in return I can call in a favour and visa versa.”
He sat back into his chair, relaxed and very calm, “Please if you want to know anything I have gathered, please have no hesitation to ask. I have nothing to hide,”
With that he grasped his drink and slowly placed it to his lips and took a long drink, never removing his eyes from hers. He wanted to see if she lied, if she did. He would only try to dig deeper.

:: Well now I see that despite his hands not being stained with blood he has almost the same stench that I do about him... This will be something to say the least... :: Lin-shi's mind as sharp as ever was paying attention to the mans movements, his mannerisms, and anything else she could fathom that could be of use. Watching him create a wall of magic and then dragging in fresh air from the window to clear their enclosed space. "Rather ingenious use of magic I must admit..."
Her words where to come out quietly and with a little bit of impressed upon her tongue. Listening to him speak her internal suspicions where confirmed. He was a slayer of men, but from her guesses he would not sully his hands with their blood instead he would use those magical orbs to do his dirty work. "Well if you truly did know your fellow colleges there sir you would realize most do not speak freely about their hunts in the past... Some type of macho bravado I must admit which is annoying. I on the other hand have no problems speaking about all of my past accomplishments. As for calling my weapons mundane, I can assure you Crimson and Faith are not mundane by any means... I keep them razor sharp within a second I could have them drawn from my sitting position and be on you with them drawn."
Her words twinged with a bit of rash pride in her abilities, but there was a strength in her beliefs as if she has done it before. "You wish to ask me what it is I have gathered? Let me see this world is some distorted hell hole on the verge of all out war and there is money to be made for every side in this. I am finding whoever is willing to pay the most and assist in their slaying of high ranking officials, officers, and families of said men and women."

“I agree, I do not tell anyone how I kill someone, nor how many I have killed because if people start knowing who you are, its a lot harder to blend in”
He looked at the blades over and noticed they were sharp although he smiled to himself knowing the moment she jumped from her seat he could move the wall that was beside them to between them. Then he could press her against the wall and suck the life out of her, although he did hate to kill someone that looked so interesting.
He wouldn't get away unharmed although it would be interesting to see what was better. Magic or Swords. He decided to agree to disagree in his head, from the looks of things neither of them were on good terms with the law.
She said that she had hunted people that were in power. Well this was interesting, because he had been hired many a time to protect people. He had done his job but sometimes a week after his protection time was up they would end up dead. People really should pay him longer he thought to himself.
“Well know, I have learned about you” He said clasping his hand together in a cup shape, and resting his head upon it, “Know I believe it is your turn to ask the questions.” He leaned back, picking up his drink and taking a long drink before placing the now empty glass down.

Her eyes fluttered in a flirty fashion as she sat there nursing her drink. When he spoke of people starting to know him and it becoming harder to blend in she gave him a sly smile. "It is true one of the reasons I am here from Midgar.... Those troublesome Turks would not let me operate within the city anymore. Someone snitched me out from my hideout. Though I did find out who it was and they are now sleeping in one of the defunct reactors of the city."
Looking at Tenneth she kept up the wry smile as she kept nursing her drink slowly lowering it down to empty. Not even flinching at the alcohol she has drank by this point she would speak once again. "My turn to ask questions eh? So let me think of this one. Here is one for you that we both can answer. What was your favorite assignment that you successfully completed be it guarding or killing someone?"

Tenneth was smiling when his new friend said, his favourite assignment. “Well I think my favourite assignment was only a few weeks ago. It was to take out a patrol of Alexander’s elite guards. They were so simple to kill.” He smiled looking back at the memory and decided that showing his friend an image would be so much more fun.
“Instead of telling how about I show you?”
He summoned forth the magic once more and created a miniature replica of the guard house not far from were they were sitting. It looked like glass but he knew it was his magic.
He made a few miniature models. One's that replicated a few of guards outside and two small black mage's.
“I sat outside the guard house and awaited there return from there regular training. As they returned worn out I summoned forth the magic into blades that would pass through armour but not skin.” he then displayed the battle, him running at them cutting through the ranks with ease, with two miniature orbs of fire above him. “I then threw the two orbs at the mages and laughed as they burned to a crisp” He then set the two black mages alight watching the small fire reflect from his companions eyes.
He then released the magic watching the model disappear like blowing out a cigarette.
He pulled out another cigarette and started smoking, “So now, what was yours Lin?” he said with a small smile. Intent on finding out why she was in the city. He had a task to complete and maybe she could help, if she was able to complete his task.

Lin-shi sat there watching the display that Tenneth gave for her. Listening to his explanation as there was not a sound coming from his display she gave off the usual compliments on a job well done. Smiling as the display vanished away she would turn back to Tenneth as the smoke dissipated into the air. "Well now Tenneth I must say that was quite the exquisite display. Both in the presentation of the memory and in your execution during the event. Quite skilled to watch and know their habits like that."
She spoke to him with her usual sultry tone to her voice but there was a hint of admiration for the work he had shown her. After all killers like them like to gloat from time to time. Hearing him speak of her most treasured kill ever she would give him a wicked smile and her eyes would give off a gleam as she would start talking. "Well I will tell you. I was hired by some punk Emperor of a small country back home to eliminate a noblemans entire family to make him give in to his demands. So I acted the part of a homely housemaid for a month to gain the trust of the family. Then came the order to strike from my cabals leader. Lucky for me the man had no children so I did not have to sully my hands with that line of work."
As she hit that point she shrugged and gave him a little wink as if to say :Hey even I have morals:. "So I snuck from room to room silencing first the stronger family members who I had drugged earlier in the night at dinner. Using Crimson I cut each of their necks with a single movement ending their existences. Everything was going smoothly until I reached the main bedchambers. His wife was fast asleep and put up no resistance. But as I cleaned off my blade on their bedsheets the door opened and in walked the man. I froze for a split second before turning to dash for either the door or window. He was blocking the door so I headed toward the window and well out I went. No sooner had I hit the ground and tumbled than I felt multiple spells being slung at me. Quickly I turned on my heel and off balance from about fourty yards or so threw a single dagger. Which I believe got the man as the spells quit coming at that point."
With her story spoke she would grab a single ice cube and place it in her mouth. "Fell at least three stories out that bloody window and took no injuries from it. Still shocked to this day I was able to do it... Now it is your turn to ask another question Tenneth so fire away."

As he sat there listening to his story he noticed that she had not said who the man was who entered the room. Although from the sounds of things this woman had no magical defence what so ever. Which means if it was a straight fight he and her would die due to the fact they would take the over with her. He smiled as she finished her story and sat back admiring her once again. “Ok, this is my last question I can think of at this precise moment. Who are you sided with in the war?” With that he leaned back. He would of course say cocoon as that is who he sided with. If they were on the opposite sides. They were in a mutual area. So that way no violence would be here. He hoped. “But before you tell me first I think a second drink is in order.” With that he walked to the bar and ordered another drink for each of them and came back and saw that she had just finished her ice cube. She really did look seductive although he had no reason to be attracted to her because he found no attraction to either gender. ((OOC, something really funny. I have fallen from a three story building and trust me, you take injures and yes I rolled, hurt like hell XD.))

Finishing off the ice cube she would smile at Tenneth. :: Hmm it seems this guy is immune to my wiles... I wonder if he is one of those fruity types. If that is the case I will need to find someone to assist me... :: Her thoughts snapped back to reality as she found herself watching his every move closely. Knowing full well if she began fighting him it would end rather fast as she had no defense against anything magical. Hearing him speak up a question she would smile at him before thinking about it.
:: Well where would my allegiance lay in this? I believe that my allegiance lays with only one that deserves my allegiance. :: Thinking about all this she heard him mention getting another drink. A smile would cross her lips and she would speak up. "Yes that would be wonderful Tenneth. Another drink would be perfect for my throat is a little dry from my story."
Quietly she would now wait for him to get the drinks for the two of them. After the drinks would arrive she would grab it and raise it up to her lips taking a drink. Finishing the first drink she would give him her by now trademark smile before speaking up. "You wanted to know where my allegiance lays inside this little war? Well I could just ask you but then you would not believe me. I think that you would believe me to be nothing but flattering you by saying the same thing? Well I will let you know where I stand in this little play."
Taking another drink she would hold the glass near her face as she would speak up after finishing her second drink. "My allegiance is to myself there Tenneth. I do not follow any countries orders unless I am being paid... Even then though I would take the money and run if the objective is beyond my skill. Like I could tell should I have to kill you I would not be able to without my own life being forfeit. You magical types are always such a pain for me..."
