real big fan of yours ,
"I live where you can’t see me, hiding away in the shadows of the deep.
I swim into the bottom of your world.
For every space I cross I see a thousand pearls.
I breathe what I know you fear.
All the sounds I love, you will never hear.”
quite the joke to you ,
"so, hon. welcome to the distorted world. what's your name?"
"Melody is what my mother named me, but everyone called me Lola for the longest time. I don’t like either and prefer to be called Lo, thank you."
"ey, that's pretty cute. how old are you, and where are ya affiliated?"
"Of course it’s cute! Well, I hatched from my egg seventeen years ago; and I guess you would say I’m from World A.”
"young'un, are you? well then, i can deal. so... how bout you and me go on a date?"
"I’m not that young, and I’m not quite sure how that would work. Besides, I like men-they’re absolutely gorgeous, just like me."
"aaand.. what is your specialization?"
"I dabble in the art of magick, just not white or black, except I do use water spells."
"cool, cool. i guess youre a little talented filly? i like 'em like that."
"What’s a…filly? More like fishy, but I would find that insulting, so don’t say it, haha."
kissed me in your room ,
"and on to the second section! how tall are you, exactly?"
"From head to fin I’d say I’m around five feet and seven inches, although with legs I think that would drop to three or four."
"ah, just three inches taller. hm. so, what's under your clothes? not that i wont find out for myself."
"Clothes? You mean the suctiony seaweed I wear around my…bust? Yeah, good luck with that! There’s not a whole lot else to see though, except for what’s showing. I’m thin and my hips are relatively wide, while my waist is slender. So are my fingers, but they’re also long and a bit lanky, but still dainty. My skin isn’t exactly pale, nor is it especially tan. I never burn, thankfully, though it’s hard for me to get much more color than I have now. Although I don’t have dark skin in the least, my hair is a dark brown. It’s very long, flowing to my mid-back, and is a bit wavy. When it does happen to be dry, not very often, it curls more. My eyes are blue, big and people tell me they’re beautiful. Oh! Then there’s my tail-it’s a tealy green, mostly green, and glimmers and shines just like the sea. My actual fin is mostly an off-white color, but there’s still some green at the top of it. I don’t really like the end of it…I wonder what I would look like with legs? Unlike humans I have gills, on the sides of my neck. They're small, I guess.
"okay, sorry. let's talk about some.. non - crude things? what's your personal style?"
"I really like to wear glittery, shimmering makeup around my eyes. It comes from different sands and mud in the ocean. I also like to put different things in my hair, not necessarily to keep it completely up, but just to make it look nicer than it already is. Other than that, basically all that stands out is my fin. Oh, and I don’t shop, I scavenge."
"hey, you look like that celebrity... what was the name...?"
"Stock pictures."
"right! i remember now. you look just like them. except better, heh heh..."
"I would hope so!"
replied i love you too ,

"soo, do you like or dislike anything?"
"I love water of course, and even though I’m a mermaid I enjoy leaving it sometimes. I like to visit the beach and find shells and sea glass, when they’re sheen and such has been worn away and they’re all smooth and soft-like. I have a collection of both in my grotto. One thing I highly dislike is nasty slime, it feels so completely awkward against my fin. I don’t like eels mainly for that reason, but they’re also just creepy. I also don’t like lightning, it’s scary! The way it lights up the sky and the look of the bolts are terrifying; the thunder that follows isn’t all that great either. I do enjoy spending time with other merpeople of course, and having sea parties of sorts; and I absolutely can’t resist staring at hume men whenever I get the chance. More? Hmmm…I like to blow bubbles and seek out baubles, and watch creatures swim by, but I don’t like big scary-looking fish, like Sahagins; although, I don’t really like scary-looking anything. I love to sing as well, I guess it’s my gift."
"ohmyjonas, me too! wow, thats such a coincidence. so have any dirty habits or secrets?"
"Welllll, you already know I collect shells and sea glass, although I only take the ones I really like. I also have the habit of wandering off and exploring, and sometimes getting lost. This one time a few years ago, I sang a sweet song to a man in a boat, and the next thing I remember I was dragging him deeper into the sea. Other merpeople eventually…overtook the situation, and there was a lot of blood."
"coolness, yo. umm. home dawg. anyways. describe yourself."
"I thought I already did? I guess you may say I’m pretty independent, I actually don’t really accept help from anyone, or need it. Even when I was young I was stubborn; that’s what my mother said anyway. Other people say it too…but that doesn’t mean I can’t be nice!"
"like dude! we're so compatible..."
"Somehow I doubt that."
a little bit insecure ,
"okay, let's rush through this. i'm thinking dancing? then, we can talk about rooms."
"Dancing would definitely not work. Besides, you’re not exactly my type."
"shh, if my boss knew about our secret romance... so. what's your heritage?"
"My mother brought my egg to Lifespring Grotto, where I hatched. I know her name was Cazera, and my fathers’ was…actually, I don’t remember his name. Come to think of it, I can’t remember anything about him except for his unusual blonde hair. See, he left the sea to go on land somehow when I was four, but I must have asked my mother about him at some point, right? And my mother, she died when I was twelve. I can remember her almost perfectly, not her voice though…which I find sad, because she used to sing songs to me all the time, especially near the end. No, I’m not actually sad though."
"wow, your family would love me! have anyone else in your family?"
"Not really. I don’t have any siblings, I don’t know one set of grandparents and the other’s are dead. I don’t have any actual family, but I have friends and acquaintances, and I keep with company. I don’t have any pets either, but I like most animals."
"oh. sounds horrible. haha. anything else important happen in your life?"
“Well, not that I can remember…really though, why can I barely remember anything? The only thing that comes to mind, besides the small bit about my parents, is this old legend about…four crystals, and warriors, and how they saved the world or something like that. Or was that real?”
"hey, look! we're done. so, i would ask you on a second date, but i'm about to explode. no, really. please step back."
“This was a date? Well, that’s too bad, see yah!”

rp sample.Sea foam encircled Lo around the arms, while a swirling mist wafted from the expansive waterfall she just swam to. Her head had popped up through the surface mere moments before, and she simply bobbed for a few moments more. She felt the light mist hit the top of her head and face, and tilted her head back to feel it even more. It was refreshing, one of the reasons she came here. Her tail, which was as green as the sea itself, tread water and her fingers slowly moved through the water like silk. This place, just outside of the Aldean Sea, was one of her favorites. It was quiet enough to think, but still had that bit of white noise so she didn’t have to feel like she was completely alone with her thoughts. Lo mostly thought of what could be, and not what actually was. She was a simple dreamer, like many other merpeople her age.
But today was different. She could feel it, from the very beginning of the day. Sure, she felt like that a lot of days and it that was probably a good thing. She felt more alive on those days, exploring more and finding more, and even when nothing really happened, it was still a good day. But today really was different, and right now she could actually feel it. The mist seemed to double, then triple, while the air actually felt different for a moment. Time seemed to close in around her until everything turned purple, and the mist was overwhelming, but it was all okay. Lo felt almost euphoric and she could feel it in all her senses, somehow.
And then, it was over…
Her radiant face shone with wonder and merriment at the new sight before her; it was like nothing she’d ever seen before. The waterfall she knew so well was gone, but a new one took its place. It was bigger and better, and the water that flowed was a beautiful blue that sparkled like the night sky. The shape of it was almost a ‘C’ and Lo couldn’t even see the top of it, due to a cloud of an almost lavender mist that was vastly greater than before. She couldn’t even begin to describe to herself where she was, but she knew she had longed to be here for a while.
Not that she wanted to go home anytime soon, but Lo soon realized that she probably wasn’t even anywhere near home. She couldn’t even remember what she had been doing, planned on doing, or what she had done that whole day. But fragments of memories, or maybe just forgotten dreams, came flooding back into her mind. It was all too much. This was going to be quite an adventure.
