This would be one of the first times she had been to the Golden Saucer when she wasn't on duty and she wasn't really enjoying since she had the fact that she had managed to earn herself a suspension hanging in her mind. She knew some other Turks would have loved to have the time off like Reno maybe. But not Elena, she had wanted to be on the next assignment but alas it was not to be. She didn't remember the exact details of the mission that had ended with her indefinately suspended but remembered she had been delibrately disobedient. That was unacceptable for a Turk especailly one of her rank.
She realized she was wasting her time just sulking about being suspended. She was at an amusement park after all. She really didn't know why she had come to the place but it was a definate way to get her mind off things. "Well I might as well have a bit of fun since I'm at the Golden Saucer." She said as she headed to the Event Square. | [atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; background: #88ccff; border: 1px dashed #ff1155; color: 2f405e; padding: 10px;]Tagged: Auric and Rinoa Wordcount: 183 Notes: Credits: The Template was Made by Vinnie of OTE andCaution + Jawn's Tutorial. |

(Sorry it took a while and is pretty bad! I’ve been a little stressed out!)
Rinoa wasn’t sure how she had ended up in this place, she had followed the chatter amongst others to this place thinking it’d cheer her up but she had no idea what to expect really. She’d reluctantly handed over a hefty sum of gil just to get in while eyeing up everyone else that seemingly just didn’t care about the price. She’d taken it as a good sign and that maybe the Gold Saucer was worth the money and wandered through the huge open mouth into a room with holes, each one held a tube slide that led you to a different area – she had guessed from the writing.
She had wondered whether to get a room here when she saw the sign for a Hotel but when she slid down the tube to reach it what she found was a haunted and dark place. In her mind she relaxed herself and wandered around some more poking things and taking in the sites. She knew it wasn’t real, she wasn’t a child but the thought of staying here creeped her out, these sort of castles reminded her of Ultimecia now. Still, she’d walk up the stairs leading to it and walked over to the front desk; if it were this expensive to get in she might as well stay a little.
“Umm...hello? Is anyone here?” She called out and looked around, the place seemed empty but yet...she still had a bad feeling about being here. Her curiosity took her to a room behind the desk and she called out again, “Hello!?” Suddenly something fell from the ceiling and she jumped back, holding her necklaces tightly, “Whoa, hey!” She scowled at the person and took a few more steps back, “What are you doing!?”
“You called for me.” He answered politely, “Can I help you?” Rinoa blushed and looked around in confusion, she really didn’t want to be here anymore, why had she even came? “Oh...no it’s okay I am just looking for someone.” She considered asking about Squall but she knew this would be the last place to look for him...he wasn’t as fun without her, she’d have to drag him to a place like this. “I have to go...sorry!”
With that she hurried out, arms wrapped around her and bracing herself for another scare. She felt like a child and was embarrassed she’d even entered now but it was over and she’d head to something a little more cheerful, she hoped. Upon nearing the gravestones she looked around to see if anything caught her eye. “Ohh I don’t know!” she groaned and hurried over to the Event Square impatiently, “This’ll do-AHHHH.....!!” The ground opened up and she was swallowed into a another area just hoping she’d find something to do, find something to take her mind off him.

To what we dare Event Square
You know, I'd never actually been to a play since the world came together. Entertainment in Aurelis was varied, shows were great to see... an uncommon treat back then and one I'd actually never indulged in during my time on Cocoon. Five years. You'd think I'd of made the time but really it was the big parades in Nautilius that had kept me from hitting boredom. That and the odd job, of course. I've only actually been to the Golden Saucer once before; aside from enjoying the rides and playing various games, I'd been meaning to see what special show might have been on. I guess you could say this is me explaining my current predicament. I mean -- who'd have heard of an improvised play that involved a member of the audience?
The 'what'? The 'what' of this particular story was a play that was about to be performed, the 'where' was at Event Square of the Golden Saucer and the 'when' was right now. But in all honesty the golden question that needed to be asked was the 'who'.
Enter Auric.
He'd actually come here to see what the fuss was about... nostalgia, perhaps, but likely just a whimsical itch he wished to indulge -- he needed a distraction to help pass the time. His partner and best friend, Faye, was out on a job... a visit to Burmecia to drop off a package and do some shopping, he'd told her to come find him when she was done. That left him with a whole lot of free time and, believe it or not, the Central Continent was (with the exception of the current locale and points of interest for the adventurous explorer) without any varied form of entertainment. And before he knew, he'd fallen into a tube and been spat out to where he was at -- venue staff awaiting him as they pushed him along backstage.
It was quite the experience. If you like standing around while a bunch of people scuttle about, push you around and somehow manage to dress you in a full-set of old-looking armor without you even so much as having any time to react, it was quite the treat. And really? By the time he had any understanding of what was happening he'd been pushed out on to the stage... an audience with eyes on him, an actor dressed like a king at his side. "Oh, sir knight! Have you come to rescue your beloved sorceress from the wicked dragon king?" asked the king as he brought up his arms and spun around.
Auric did what anyone else would have naturally done -- be confused as all heck and try to figure out what the hell was happening. But, being the sharp customer he looked to his arms and legs and spotted the pieces of metal clapped rather tightly on to his form... the no doubt heavy thing stuck to his head was probably some kind of helm. Aside from stinking from the neglect on the costume staff's behalf, he got the odd feeling the actor was referring to him. And so, Auric looked from himself... to the actor.... then back to the armor on his chest. He took one hand and promptly pointed at himself. "M..me?"
The 'King' spun around and suddenly stopped. How he could do that without getting dizzy was beyond Auric's comprehension. "Of course, you! You ARE the sorceress' knight, aren't you?" the actor insisted as he just kept pushing for Auric to take lead. Ah, to hell with it. "Y-yes! I'm the sorceress' knight!" he declared. He spun around as best he could but wound up just falling flat on his face. A good thing the prop armor was at least solid enough to break his fall... which was just as well, since their audience was already laughing and cheering for him to continue. "Oh no! Here comes the dragon now!" the king announced as he spun about, somehow navigating himself as he practically floated around the stage. The ground shook with heavy steps as a rather life-like dragon joined them from the side. "But where is our sorceress?" the king cried, his voice actually quite convincing.
But no sooner than he'd spoke, did a woman come falling out on to the stage, all dressed in blue.
Auric? Meet sorceress Rinoa.

She had somehow snagged a seat in the front row. Only problem was she recognized the person next to her from one of her particularly nasty Turk missions and that never was a good thing when you're a Turk. She just looked at the stage and watched the play hoping the familiar woman would ignore her.
The person playing the knight seemed to be a confused at first. He was probably pulled backstage by the stage hands. Elena had always been glad she had never been pulled into any of the shows she had been there. Then again, she had been in full Turk uniform and must people knew not to mess with a Turk so it was probably not a coincidence she never ended up on stage. Today though, she was out of uniform today wearing a simple white blouse and a deep purple skirt. She kept her focus on the play and the ‘Sorceress’s knight’. It seemed that he was starting to relax a bit and actually play the character. She watched the ‘king’ spin and laughed the actor was graceful but Elena had seen those with more grace. It was a pirouette nothing special. Of course when comparing ballet moves to with the flips and jumps some of the Turks or even Avalanche members did was probably not ideal, but on the battlefield those moves were not choreographed which made them all the more incredible. Elena respected the knight for his acting abilities knowing a bit of acting herself.
Then the sorceress was introduced. She looked fairly beautiful with her dark hair and eyes, and she was wearing a blue dress. Lovely in many ways that Elena wasn’t and would never be it seemed. She was focused so much on the play that she never realised Miss Familiar had now taken a good look at her and had recognised the female Turk. “You... You killed my son!” The woman screamed causing a scene causing Elena to sink down in her seat to escape the glares that were coming her way. | [atrb=style, font-family: Tahoma; word-spacing: 1px; text-align: justify; background: #88ccff; border: 1px dashed #ff1155; color: 2f405e; padding: 10px;]Tagged: Rinoa/Auric Wordcount: 351 Notes: Sorry it took so long.
