It had been a few weeks or so since Jecht had revived from the grave somehow, and he has seen many amazing places. Right now, he had found himself at a place called Midgar or something, and what a place it was. Jecht hadn't seen technology like this since he had been in Zanarkand, and that had been ages ago, at least to Jecht it had been. After spending some time in the city that seemed to be part in sync with the world, and some of it out of sync, he walked out of the technological wonder. All it needed was a blitzball stadium, and Jecht would have been marveled at the resemblance with his Zanarkand. But alas, it didn't, so he was just marveling at the technology he found there.
"I haven't even left this continent yet, and already I'm amazed at this new world," Jecht had seen many things in his travels so far, trying to get a idea on what was happening to this world. So far, all he had figured out was that many dimensions were coming together for some reason or another. In the middle of all of this was Spira, which was sad because the once great land he knew was split up among all of these strange ones. Though, without this calamity or whatever, Jecht wouldn't be alive and well like he was now, which was a blessing in disguise.
"Though, it would help to have a little order, there is just chaos everywhere," that may have been a little bit of an exaggeration, seeing how there weren't people running around just causing chaos. One thing was for certain though, things were not as they once were, and they were most likely never going to be again. Though, that might be a good thing, because if they returned to the ways of the past, then Jecht probably wouldn't be alive anymore. If it were for the good of Spira though, he would gladly give his life again like he once had becoming a Fayth for Braska.
"I wonder how Braska and Auron are doing," he mused to himself as he walked slowly away from the city to his next destination. Honestly, he didn't like Midgar that much, it was too dark and cramped for his taste. So he was off to some other place to explore, and learn more about this crazy place. Maybe, just maybe, he might find some more people he knew, but that wasn't likely if just explored randomly.

"Awww....now where am I.."This was new for Erik..he was on a different continent all together. A sigh escaped his lips as he walked along. A Neo-urban city was all this was, it wasn't too different from palumpolum or Eden. But there was a certain aura here that sent a chill down his spine..like he couldn't help but wonder what kind of past this place had. In all honesty, he did not like this place one bit..and he intended to leave very..VERY soon. But just as he turned around, his face came in contact with a much bigger man's very buff chest, making him stagger back a couple of steps. His eyes looked up to meet the twin brown eyes of the older male. The man looked like he could be in his fourties or fifties, yet he looked extremely strong, even by Erik's standards. He seemed to wear little clothing though, which gave him the distinct impression of a wild man.."Oh...sorry."He apologized, his gaze lingering in Jecht's."Are...you from Gran Pulse?"He asked, looking around and then back at him, taking a step back to allow the man space.

Normally Jecht would notice when he was going to walk into somebody, but recently he has been distracted by a lot of things. So, when he did walk into the person, that seemed to be a whole head smaller then the blitzer, he was a bit surprised. The first thing the guy did was apologize for walking into him like that, which was what something Jecht should do as well. This was because he did do part of the walking himself, though the next question the person posed was a tad bit confusing.
"It's no problem," Jecht replied, not put off at all about this person walking into him. Jecht was wondering though, what was a Gran Pulse? Most likely it was a place that was from another world that happened to collide with the world that Spira should be in. Jecht tried to think why he would ask if he was from Gran Pulse. 'Who knows, better tell him though,' Jecht thought to himself as this person took a step back away from him.
"I don't know what this Gran Pulse is, but I'm from what remains of Spira," Jecht answered, stabbing his sword into the ground and crossing his arms. "What's it to ya?" Jecht asked in return, wondering how the kid would respond to his question. It may have seemed a tad bit threatening, but at least he would see how this person would react to it. You could always tell the character of someone to how they responded to a somewhat threatening motion.

"It's no problem,"
Erik smiled a little at that and rubbed his left arm with his right hand, giving a small nod. He did take in the appearance of the man, even if the man was not from Gran Pulse, he could be easily mistaken for someone who is..
"I don't know what this Gran Pulse is," As he thought.. but I'm from what remains of Spira," Spira..that name sounded very familiar. His eyes then looked up to the man, about to speak, but then the man spoke instead, brandishing his sword and stabbing into the ground.
"What's it to ya?"
His head tilted, his eyes were curious as he stared at the man's face, really paying no mind to the sword. He wondered.."Do..you know Yuna? She said she was from Spira..she's a dear friend of mine." And a dear friend was right..Yuna had a very large place in his heart..

This person gained some respect in Jecht's eyes, seeing how he hardly reacted at all considering Jecht did what he did. It must be that this guy wasn't very confrontational or something, but Jecht didn't know. All he knew, was that this guy knew someone named Yuna. If it were the same Yuna Jecht knew, and she was indeed her friend, then this guy must be somewhat decent. Though, people were able to hide their true self, but Jecht figured it didn't matter in this case. After all, Jecht was there to protect Yuna, so he didn't fear for her in the least.
"Yuna?" Jecht asked, making sure he heard correctly, but he knew he did, "Yeah, I know Yuna. She's the daughter of a good friend of mine." Ah, Jecht longed for the days of when he guarded Braska, those were the good days. "How do you know her?" Jecht asked directly, wondering how this person met up with the young summoner.
"My name is Jecht, by the way," he mentioned, introducing himself to the younger person in front of himself. Wondering if he would do the same in return. Jecht was thinking about the personality of this guy, a little guarded in the friends that Yuna had. After all, in this world, you would never know the kind of people you would meet.

Jecht had an expression of thoughtfulness and he was afraid that the man may not know Yuna until he said he did. He snally smiled and nodding to his answer, his smile fading to an expression of thinking when Jecht countered with a question towards him. He considered the answer in silence before responding."The moonflow, I think you've heard of it right? At night, little lights come out and light the river up, it's a beautiful sight. I met Yuna at that spot, she opted to keep me company. She was really nice to me.."He said and thought for a moment, blushing a little at the thought. He then looked over at Jecht as the man introduced himself and smiled softly with a nod."I am Erik, nice to meet you Jecht."He said and looked closely at the man, circling him for a moment and then thought for a moment."If you know Yuna..and you're friends with her father.."He looked up at Jecht."Would..that mean you're a guardian?"He asked, tilting his head to the side.

This kid seemed to know a lot about his world, or at least he was the first he met that knew Spira at all actually. It felt good that there was someone that knew his world, instead of being in a place where he was sticking out like a sore thumb. Not that he minded sticking out though, Jecht was always one that wanted attention. Sometimes, it just felt nice to not have to explain everything to someone.
"Yeah, I know the moonflow," Jecht replied, remembering the time he attacked the shoopuf and lost their party a lot of money. Thus, he had stopped drinking after that incident, but that was a tale for another day. As of now, he was curious in this guy's ongoing story of how Erik met Yuna. Which really, was the most important thing right now.
"Guardian?" Jecht asked, a little taken aback how he knew the word. Then again, if he knew about Spira and such, he would probably know about guardians. "Yeah, you could say I was a guardian. I guarded her father when he went to defeat Sin." He mentioned Sin as a way to see how much more Erik would know about his land, which seemed to be a lot more then he had initially guessed.

Erik looked up at Jecht, smiling at his reply."It's a beautiful place huh?"He said and put his hand over his chest."It's like the lights want you to reach out and grab it. It's a pretty sight."He said and then looked up, hearing Jecht's explanation on how he was a former guardian. the mention of Sin made his head go downcast, his hand holding the sleeveless tightly, right where his l'cie brand is."I'm sorry that Sin caused you guys so much trouble, if I had been there, I would have done all I could."He said and looked up at Jecht."Yuna is my best friend, she has a big place in my heart and I want to protect her."He said and looked down."I owe it to her, She's been so kind to me."He said and closed his eyes tight."I want to be strong, for her sake."He said, looking up at Jecht again."I want to be strong to help her. I won't let her get hurt."He said and then put his hand to Jecht's shoulder."She runs deep into my heart..the best friend I've ever had, and I will not lose her."
