SIX-SHOT REVOLVER
Joshua is the Composer of the region of Tokyo known as Shibuya. Therefore, within his own territory and under normal circumstances, he possesses power on par with that of a god. However, Joshua is outside of his home territory at present, and while the censure on his powers put into place by the Angels during the Long Game is no longer effective, the Calamity has placed a censure of her own on beings equated with gods. While under his own limiters during the Game as Neku’s partner, his abilities were required to manifest as a Psych just like everyone else’s; this Psych was his cellphone. Under the aforementioned limiters, while not being confined to Psych form, Joshua is limited in the sense that he isn’t able to transcend the normal damage-dealing potential of a human talented in magic. Thus, the revolver: Joshua is by no means a physical fighter; he doesn’t rely on brute strength as a rule. He himself has stated that he doesn’t enjoy breaking a sweat. With hand-to-hand combat being eliminated as an option, and close-quarters fighting with any weapon that requires strength being a no-no, he's stuck with the firearm.

All physical abilities will be utilized through the revolver. Spells are not restricted.

The previous vehicle for Joshua’s Psych. An iconic bright orange flip-phone, it is notable for possessing several applications that are capable of altering time and space, such as a camera feature that may take pictures of the past. None of these applications work save for the program developed to sense “energy surges”, which now has an added bonus of being able to sense ability levels of, say, otherworldly creatures.

Joshua will always be forewarned a battle post ahead of time before a disciple of the Calamity (Plagues, Sicknesses, or any of their minions) appears. He cannot be ambushed by one, unless his magical item is incapacitated or otherwise ineffective.

Officers of the Game traditionally possess alternate forms that can be used to change things up in battle. Joshua is no different, though his inherent ability to shift between forms is severely limited by the conditions of the Distorted World. Upon switching into his Noise form, Joshua is subject to a HP tax of 10 HP per post while transformed. The form lasts for three posts, during which time a physical tier augment of 250% (stacked multiplicatively) is bestowed. Healing spells are also 25% more effective, a modest augment. However, the damage taken from attacks whilst in Noise form is upped by 50%, making him 150% susceptible to all damage. To close, he must be in the presence of another Composer (Neku) to use his Noise form, and his Arbiter is locked for two posts following the transformation. The form can be Dispelled, at which point the limiters will still apply. It is meant to turn Joshua's battle style completely on its head in the event that no other solution presents itself.

Nicknamed the "Jesus Beam" (probably by a certain individual), the ability is considered a ranged physical attack, and manifests as a beam of blue-white light striking a target from around ten feet above them. Out of habit, Josh may sometimes use his phone to trigger this ability. It strikes a single target for a base damage of 10 HP.
