Formerly known as the Narcissus, this airship is the prize gem of Cedric's collection. At one point she was a hearty sea vessel, the very same that Captain Cedric Rackham used to terrorize the seas. But upon landing in Alexandria he fancied once of the giant flying ships looming in the sky, so he had his ship remodeled into this new flying ship of piracy. This sleek black ship may hold up to eleven people comfortably, although it would hold far more if Cedric wished to share his large private quarters. The ship over all is very typical pirate ship of the late feudal era with it's three masts, save for the three large glossair engines imported from Archades.
Two of them are on the side, large oval things with the third right under the captain's quarters. The skystone, which enables flight, is held within the Captain's quarters. So that the foolish may not cause the Faucan Noir to fall from the skies. Furthermore the glossiar engines are seaworthy themselves, allowing the Noir to travel by land or sea. Due to the nature of the engines they may suck in the water around them and shoot it outwards, pushing the ship forward. This makes the Faucon Noir far faster in the water then the skies, yet she looses most of her mobility.
Counting Cedric, there are eleven members of the crew total. Ten of which are forced to sleep below decks. There are a total of six cannons on the pirate ship, three on each side. It takes two men to operate the cannons. But it takes at least five men to operate the ship during a battle. Sometimes more. The cannons, being extremely heavy, take much effort to move. As such they only really fire in one direction.
If you haven't guessed, I'm buying Cedric's airship. I'm using the money from Gabranth's account and I will take it out once this is all done. c:
