Vincent was in the mountains around Nibelhiem. He hardly felt the chill in the air. He was looking for a way to draw out his summon/arbiter, a beast named Hellmasker. It was weird he had not been attacked during his time up in the mountains and he had been there at least two days. Maybe they could smell Chaos and were too afriad of the demon to attack the source of Chaos' scent. But he doubted that.
Vincent though being the most patient of any of Avalanche, was starting to get frustrated with the lack of action in the area. He wanted to achieve getting his summon he didn't know why and he wasn't going to get it sitting on a cold lonely mountian but he didn't know what else he could do. He just had to wait and see what happened. The cold air blew,making her pigtails blow around wildly. She didn't seem phased from the temperature at all though. She had just emerged from one of her 'dimension holes' and was looking for something that was supposedly kept in these mountains in the past.This place had a machine of some type,that drew mako? It was obvious that mako and mana are very similar forms of energy... thus Khaotix may actually be made partly from it.
As she walked with her staff orbiting her as usual, she encountered a interesting sight,some distance away. A male doll in red and black,and another one,a girl,who appeared to be shivering uncontrollably...neither gave off the life force of normal humans,and a...spirit?
Khaotix eyes glowed blue at the sight. "Hehehe... Khaotix isn't alone here,are we?" interested in the possible 'fun' they may offer,she disappeared in a poof. Only to reappear sitting on a large boulder right in front of them.
"Hehe...Hi there! We're Khaotix!You interest us."she said,her staff floating behind her.

Crimson eye watched the 'spirit' join him on the mountain. Vincent wasn't expect company or really want it as it seemed to set Chaos off into another let me out chant in his head. Ignoring the constant din of Chaos in his head. He knew he couldn't let the demon out cause then he would stand have no chance of drawing out Hellmasker since Chaos was stronger.
He listened to the 'spirit's' question and was about to answer it when he heard wings and a comment about the cold and watched as Akira landed with them. He let her talk before answering the previously asked question, "You're in the Nibelheim Mountains, if you head off in that direction and down this mountain you will find yourself in the mountain town of Nibelheim." He then turned to Akira. She was shivering excessively like she couldn't handle the bitter cold that was attributed to being in the snow ridden mountains. "You didn't need to come here,I can handle this weather and it seems you can't. Hellmasker, he's elusive so I don't think he'd be easy to spot so I'm going to have to draw him out some how,. Oh and apparently Chaos says Hi." He was worried about Akira as he would any of his friends and he could see Chaos liked her. "So Chaos likes Akira." Vincent muttered to himself earning a growl from the demon who was demanding to be let out. " he then muttered "You are not coming out, if you come out I'll lose my chance to draw out Hellmasker and I don't want to have to watch you flirt shamelessly with Akira."
Vincent's argument with his inner demon was cut short when someone else joined this little 'congregation' on a mountain. He had spotted her a little way away before she appeared on the boulder close by. Vincent kept one hand on Cerberus and sharp eyes on the new arrival. He relaxed slightly when they introduced themself. "Hello Khaotix, I'm Vincent Valentine and this is Akira" Vincent said indicating the shivering dragon lady next to him, "And the spirit is... Umm excuse me,I never asked your name." [/b] He replied sarcastically with a roll of his eyes. "Thanks for letting me know its cold." Arngrim turned his attention back to the crimson cloaked man as he kindly explained where he was and spoke to the hybrid woman...or spell caster. Whoever she was. Arngrim's brows furrowed in confusion at the mention of 'Hellmasker' and just as he was going to ask what it was, a odd woman appeared, sitting on a boulder. The woman introduced herself as Khaotix and the crimson clad man introduced himself and the woman. At the mention of spirit, he became utterly surprised. "Arngrim. How...how did you know I was...?" He couldn't even finish asking, but figured Vincent would catch on. Khaotix's eyes became yellow as she spoke, "So... a big ugly doll that refuses to die,and a heh...lizard. Useless." Khaotix stared at both Arngrim then Akira in turn. Then she turned to Vincent...and her eyes changed back to blue.
"Your much more interesting... You possess aspects of 'chaos'. Prehaps you can be Khaotix's pet. Would you like that?" She grabbed her staff from out of the air and jumped of the rock,walking right up to Vincent.
Her eyes went yellow again as she pointed her staff at Akira and spoke to Vincent. "I could show you some very interesting things... pet. Unlike 'reptiles' like that. You are extremely lucky to possess a aspect of us within you.... WELL?"
Khaotix said that last word with obvious irritation,as if she wanted the answer quickly.

Vincent was still watching everyone with interest. Arngrim had broke of mid sentance but Vincent even with his inner demon screaming at him in his head was extremely sharp witted and perceptive and knew what he was asking, "My inner demon could sense what you were and told me. Also I should explain that to those who don't already know I'm a former science experiment and have the strange ability to change into certain beasts. They are Galian Beast and Chaos Chaos is currently scream at me to let him out." Vincent explained not going into to much detail about his past. "I'm trying to draw out another monster, Hellmasker who is supposed to be my summon but he seems to be well hidden."
Vincent turned to Akira and asked "Do you smell Chaos around me because if Chaos is leaking out Hellmasker won't come out as Chaos is a stronger monster than him. Also trust me, Chaos likes you. I have lived with him in my head for three decades and I know when he likes somone. Plus he likes to mess with me." He heard a snarl in his head and knew the demon was irritated. "Oh calm the F*** down Chaos." Vincent said trying to calm the demon.
Vincent glared at the girl on the rock as she talked about the prospect of him being her pet and degrading his friend. He also heard Chaos and Galian Beast snarl in his head, neither liking the sound of their host being anyone's pet plus Chaos was annoyed about the girl insulting his crush. Vincent only just held Chaos back. "I may contain Chaos but it seems the Chaos inside me doesn't like the sound of me being your's or anyone else's pet and for once I'm inclined to agree with him. I'm no one's pet thank you very much. Plus Akira's my friend. Lucky...how is being a former science experiment who was infused with monsters agaist my will lucky." Vincent snapped. This girl...Khaotix irked him. She didn't know him yet she suggested that. Vincent was a trained killer and this girl was pushing his buttons. [/b] He snarled, upper lip curling. Arngrim wanted to just smash the girl in the face and walk away, down the mountain to the town not too far away. Then again, that would leave her alone with the pair of people. They'd tear her apart. ...That wasn't his problem though was it? No, not really. If anything he was only hanging around because it sounded like as if they could use help with something. Something about that 'Hellmasker.' That's when the girl drew his attention again. She was digging a hole for herself wasn't she? Calling anyone a 'pet' would send them off the edge. No one wanted to be a pet to anybody. "Ya know, I don't consider myself the brains of any operation much less the brightest fellow around. But with you around, your giving me quite a good reputation. Khaotix poofed again... reappearing back on the rock. Her eyes were glowing green. "WOW! You are interesting dolls after all! Your anger and hate radiate like a sun! Hahaha!" Khaotix glowed a little in a rainbow colored haze.
Khaotix winked at Vincent and said "You'r inner selves may hate us,but we are very similar my 'pet'." She emphasized the word heavily. Then her eyes lost light and became grey,when she said "Unfortunately... Khaotix can't bring your beings into absolute chaos with us yet.I will instead...give you something to remember us by."
Khaotix flipped her staff into the air. It spun and landed in the middle of the three sticking into the ground with the blade end.A great deal of energy burst from it. Khaotix stomped her foot and the staff returned to her side.
"Now that the level of chaos has increased here... you'll get what you want... at a price." Khaotix stared at Akira with sudden red eyes. Grinning she poofed again,but didn't reappear.
Suddenly a blizzard started...

Vincent listened to Arngrim while trying to keep to irate monsters inside him under control. Vincent knew it was hard but least Galian Beast had decided back off. It was just Chaos he had to worry about because if pushed too far he would come out on his own. Vincent who was normally mild mannered and a gentleman to any female but Khaotix had pushed him too far and he felt like either shooting her or setting Chaos on her. He was not going to let himself do either things though.
Vincent looked at Akira and noticed she looked like she wanted to kill Khaotix, not that he blamed her. He saw the nod indicating Chaos was leaking out. "Now I know why the monsters have been hiding from me." He shook his head, He should have known Chaos would be leaking "He is always worse around others though." Vincent listened to what Akira said and relayed the message. he felt Chaos calm down almost instantaneouslyand become excited about the prospect of a kiss. The Demon stayed quiet and calm making it quite clear he wanted the promised kiss from Akira.
Vincent who now had a clear head listened toh Khaotix and felt his blood boil. "host, what is this girl's problem, does she want to be torn to pieces or something?" Vincent heard Chaos ask innocently or as innocently as a demon could. "Chaos, I don't know now be a good demon and stay calm and let me deal with this in my way. You know Hellmasker won't come out if you are out." Vincent said. He had little patience for Chaos most of the time but Chaos seemed to be at least trying to be good because he replied "Yes host, I'm sorry I was just curious." He watched the staff land and felt the energy burst. It unsettled Chaos a little but the demon settled back down quickly. Both Vincent and Chaos were horrified by the impliction of what was said next and the blizzard that had started. Akira was in serious danger. Hellmasker was present, yes, and now Vincent had his attention. The being he was inexplicably bound to for well over thirty years had never much interested Hellmasker himself. Chaos took a much greater interest, and the demon was a great deal more powerful... but now, it seemed like something was making Chaos back down. And now, it seemed his interest was the only one present, aside from the lingering sentiment of Chaos. Vincent was very angry. The others were silent. But... did Vincent Valentine still have the camaraderie he did the last time Hellmasker had been called forth?
He would find out soon. Between Vincent and his companions was a brilliant flash of light, followed by the loud roaring of a chainsaw lashing out at the general area in a violent spin. By no means were Hellmasker's movements graceful; they were choppy, as though the muscles were resisting movement. If the cold bothered him at all, it didn't show. He was going to test Vincent, in the only way he knew how. The sharp red eyes glaring out from behind the hockey mask locked on to Akira, the one he called 'friend', and swung the chainsaw in her direction with surprising speed with the choppy motions he made.

But it avoided him completely. Something he found odd. He followed its gaze and realized it was targeting the spellcaster woman, Akira. If he remembered anything well from his time adventuring, it was always, always protect them. "HEY UGLY!" He taunted, picking up a rock and throwing at the Hellmasker.
