Akira hissed. The girl was really getting on her nerves. Akira was ready to rip that girl to shreds, and was about to, but then she looked at her and said something funny. A price...something interesting...? Then it hit her. Akira suddenly clenched herself, trying to keep all the warmth within in. That damn little girl was trying to kill her...and she wasn't going to leave Vincent and Arngrim by themselves. But the scent of Chaos was gone as Akira opened one eye to look at Vincent. That kiss would have to come later, it seemed, because they were going to meet up with Hellmasker soon. Akira soon scented him but it was too late - the hellmasker had marked her. Akira could feel it, not the pain, but the warm ooze of blood coming forth from her stomach. Akira stared at Hellmasker, her eyes narrowed. There was only one chance of survival here...she had to transform. Though she would survive better as her giant dragon form, she may scare off Hellmasker. This form she knew no party, but possibly Angrim, would be scared off. Skin turned into scales as her clothes turned into her brilliant black, red, and golden scales that covered her humanoid form. Akira, in essence, was not a miniature dragon. The wound she received was still bleeding but small, in her eyes, and was hardly enough to waste time upon. Her claws flexed as she tried to get the blizzard out of her mind. She decided to make the first moved, her wings soaring through the gust of wind as her claws raked against the chainsaw of the Hellmasker, not considered an attack but more of a warning, another attack coming to his left with with her other claw as her head extended towards the monster's shoulder, in attempt to sink her fangs in. By the glow of her eyes, she was pissed. But...it was also her trying to forget the cold. If she fell... [COLD METER] [HP=5/10] [Due to the Blizzard, her Cold Meter will go down twice as fast] [HP=100/115] Momentum - Every time an attack lands successfully the attacker is granted an attack power boost of 10%. Merciless - Upon being reduced to critical status, the user will do a quarter additional damage. Lifesiphon - Every time an attack lands successfully the attacker is healed for 10% of the damage inflicted. Double Cut - The user is allowed an additional regular attack. - 2 post cooldown Evasion- Reduces damage taken by 10%. - Costs 15 LP Counter - Doubles damage dealt after taking damage. - Costs 15 LP Area Barrier - Physical and Magical Defense is boosted by 50% and the rest of your party gains a 30% Physical and Magical Defense boost. - Costs 15 LP Sub Transformation: Akira turns herself into a smaller, humanoid like dragon. It halves all damage she takes as well as double all damage she deals. This form lasts 3 posts. If she breaks her 3 posts limit, she will lose half of her remaining health. If, during this period, she goes under 50 HP or she is already under 50 HP, this will knock her out. 8 Post Cooldown [3 Posts] [COOLDOWN: Sub Transformation - 8, Double Cut - 2]

Vincent knew the only way he could prove himself to his second strongest monster was for him to get and attack because someone he cared for was in danger or hurt badly. Also if he called upon Chaos it would be all over and he'd lose his chance. Vincent didn't have muchtime to react before he was hit by the spinning attack. He stggered slightly before pulling out Cerberus and shotting at Hellmasker. So Hellmasker had chosen to mark Akira, not that Vincent was all that surprised. Hellmasker had been watching him closely obviously and knew that Akira was the key to Vincent either achieving getting Hellmasker or failing as Chaos if pissed could be a pain to try and hold back and Chaos would be pissed if Akira is hurt badly. Vincent cringed when he saw Hellmasker's attack strike Akira. This was going to be a challenge but Vincent knew that he couldn't let the oppotunity pass him by, and thus kept shooting at the monster. Vincent smiled at Arngrims taunt but knew it would probably be a very bad thing as Hellmasker was about as unpredictable as Chaos. [HP=100/110]

Hellmasker wheeled around and glared at the other, the taunt having been fallen for. He took his chainsaw and placed it in front of him, the rock easily being sliced in half, though the small debris that fell from the larger rock hit itself against him, but was not felt. However, before he could target Arngrim, the dragoness attacked, transforming in front of them and her claw raked against his chainsaw.

This caused it to come closer to him, so he switched it off but sunk her fangs into him, a strange grunt coming from the other. Hellmasker was to enraged at Arngrim to care about the dragoness, who would possibly still be clinging to his shoulder, as he turned on his chainsaw and sliced it at them both - if she did not get out of his way fast enough and slashed him, twice.

Hellmasker then felt the bullets that had come from Vincent and briefly looked at Vincent, only to realize Chaos had not come out and decided to continue this method as he gained distance between all of these opponents. He could handle them all as the chainsaw's motor continued, being near deafening. They were in for it.

Vincent knew Galian was his only option for a attack using his monster abilities but decided to hold him back for now. He knew it was turning out to be one heck of a battle. Crimson eyes quicky accessed his options and realised Hellmasker had placed distance between them. Vincent heard Chaos call Hellmasker a fool in his mind and couldn't help but agree with him. He had given Vincent more options for attack. Hellmasker knew Vincent well enough that he should know that he had just made a huge mistake that Vincent was planning on capitalizing on. Vincent sprung back into action letting his instincts take over as he fought. Vincent was still looking for the ideal situation to release Galian on the chainsaw weilding monster. [hp=100/110]

But Akira cared less; she let go of Hellmasker before she do was carved. Her tail lashed out as she was really feeling the effects of the cold. It was time to heat things up a bit, it seemed. Fire started to be charged through the dragoness' mouth and shot onto Hellmasker, keeping the fire trained on him for quite some time, counting for the entirety of Hat Trick. When the fire dispersed, Akira puffed out a ring of smoke, as well as a smirk on her lips. That should keep Hellmasker nice and warm as well as the atmosphere but as soon as she stopped, the effects of the blizzard were still felt. However, she didn't want to see Vincent hurt and she could take a couple of more hits than him. Her smirk widened at the thought. "Hey jackass! I'm right here! Come and get me!" She taunted, hoping that Hellmasker would fall for her taunt and, unlike Angrim, wouldn't fall gracelessly like he had. She would get Vincent his Arbiter...even at the cost of her life. Was it fair? She couldn't leave him alone...she knew that much for sure. 'If I die here...I'm sorry, Scara.' Vincent did nothing and Hellmasker watched Angrim fall - he wouldn't enter battle and, thus, the taunt was gone, focusing on Vincent. However, he caught a sight of orange and red and he turned, just to watch Akira throw her fire at him, keeping it longer than need be, dealing more damage in the process, but allowing less attacks on her part.

When the fire was alleviated, Hellmasker was not at all thrilled at being torched. Even if Akira had taunted him, he would've attacked her but her taunt made him blind to Vincent. The chainsaw revved up once more as Hellmasker approached the dragon quickly, ready to strike. However, he wouldn't only strike once - he would strike against her scales three times.

The first was towards her chest, more specifically, her right shoulder. Then he would whip around and try for her left side, or her stomach area. Finally, he would come down, going towards her face. At the attack, Hellmasker would stay close, ready to attack the weakening dragoness. The attack may provoke Chaos, but Akira would be fine...if the blizzard didn't take her out.

He willed the purple monster to the surface willing him to come out and to fight Hellmasker. Vincent felt the transformation take hold and Galian come out to play. The purple beast let out a roar of challenge to Hellmasker. It then ran at the chainsaw weilding monster, clawing and biting at the other monster as he preformed what was known as the berserk dance. Unlike Vincent whose attack method was systematic, Galian Beast was irratic and angry. He was savage by nature and lived to fight. The Galian Beast continued its attack not caring if he was accurate or not. All the monster cared about was attacking and causing damage. Galian Beast had almost gone out of any control and Vincent would be stuck if he didn't change himself back. Vincent managed to regain control over the beast and came to the fore aiming Cerberus as soon as he was back on the outside. Even though he looked calm and in control, Vincent always found his transformations difficult and often showed signs of the monster he had turned into afterwards. He pulled the trigger before moving into action against Hellmasker as Galian had before. --------------------- [hp=100=110] Techniques used: Galian Beast: Vincent transforms into a wild purple beast. Defense increases by 20%, Dexterity by 50%, and HP by 50%. uses Physical attack called berserk dance for 1 1/2 times normal damage to a single target or Magical attack called Beast Flare for 3 3/4 times normal fire-elemental damage to all targets.. 6 post cooldown cooldowns: Galian Beast; 6 posts

Her scales prove even too mcuh for Hellmasker; the deadly blades could not land a hit upon Akira. She was about to strike when she came to realization. She couldn't hold her form. The cold was finally affecting her. Akira stopped her mid-assault as she slowly watched her form fail in front of her. She dismissed it in time; she would not suffer the consequences. However, during this, she realized how weak and dumb she was getting. She barely recalled Vincents form fading to be taken over by the Gallian Beast. Scales turned by to skin as Akira, even though she was pale already, was paler than normal, which was dangerous. She couldn't last very very long anymore. The cold...it seeped through ever pore in her body. "Dammit...just a little...bit...longer." Akira growled to herself, realizing speaking was actually causing her pain, for she sharply inhaled the icy cold. It felt like someone had caused icicles to go through her throat as Akira's eyes narrowed. It was...up to Vincent it seemed. But she wasn't going to faint; the moment she did, the moment she died. The Gallian Beast was enough. He wouldn't have used it if it wasn't for the girl. Hellmasker took the onslaughts of Gallian Beast as his eyes lingered on Akira. No longer was his taunt on her. But she seemed in pretty bad condition. Hellmasker stopped his chainsaw as soon as he figured this out. The draconic form no longer was out either.

Hellmasker tilted his head, almost curious at gallian beast/Vincent as Hellmasker disappeared as mysterious as he had come. However, Vincent would know that he had claimed Hellmasker as his own. He proved he didn't need Chaos to fight him, and he knew that if it wasn't for Akira, he would have relied on his own strength to attempt to subdue him.

The blizzard that Khaotix had summoned started to die down as soon as Hellmasker claimed who his rightful master was now. It eventually died out altogether, but too fast for it to be natural. At least this would buy Vincent some time to get Akira to recover before she actually die because of him and Hellmasker. Her fault either way.
