Now we're gonna go till they kick us out Or the police shut us down Oh it was a shame about that poor little mechanic. He thought he could charge an extra 10,000 gil for the repairs on the Narcissus. Fortunately the tragic wake of losing two family members and three toes to a hedge clipper, which now sat in some public dumpster, caused the man to drastically lower his price to only 1,000 gold pieces. Normally Cedric would object and continue to cut off his toes, and other non-essential limbs but he was feeling generous today, and it gave him a rather pleasant reason to loot this wonderful little city. He wouldn't want to the mechanic to lose any more toes... Although it might be a jolly good laugh.
At least it was a lovely day. The sun was shining brightly, the birds chirped, the gentle smell of salt wafted upwards from the docks beneath the city, the mechanic's dead family members were enjoying their new cement footwear a few dozen miles under the ocean's waves. A very very pleasant day, which caused Captain Rackham to whistle to himself as he walked down the main street of Alexandria. Occasionally an unsuspecting citizen of the fine city would lose their wallet or purse to the sly fingers of Cedric. Ah, how I love this city. Their purses are fat, and the strings are shockingly lose. I only wish their inhibitions were as lose! The pirate mused to himself. Never the less this city is rather homey, as it reminds me of Pravoka... Yes, it's buildings and style is rather similar, and the plaza makes me feel right as home. Of course they don't have that cursed Bikke to stand in my way. Perhaps I shall claim this town as my own.... Hm... I would establish a decent brothel if I did...
Ah! And there is the prize! The man exclaimed to himself, barely able to burst out in joy. A little old lady emerged from the crowds, carrying nothing but a tiny little cane and purse to match. Oh how Cedric loved old people. So fragile, so gentle, and oh so rich and easy. Cedric slowly made his way to the helpless woman, who was being tossed back and forth by the crowds more then a ship during a storm. As Rackham finally reached her he offered one white gloved hand to her. "Excuse me ma'am, but do you want some assistance?" The pirate said like a model citizen would, those acting lessons really paid off. The elderly lady gave him a word of thanks and took his arm.
Cedric was barely able to suppress the urge to roll his eyes as she rambled on about her "precious" little grandchildren, and her wildly "successful" son. He was apparently a lawyer. Bah, lawyers are only good if you get caught, and Cedric wasn't the kind to find himself behind bars. Often. While she rambled on about her life, and descendants that Cedric couldn't care less about, his white gloved fingers slipped into her purse and quickly made short work of the little black bag she kept her gil in. As they reached her home the two parted ways, and once she was out of sight Cedric eagerly investigated his winnings.
"Bah! This city has horrid retirement plans, there isn't even twenty gil here!" The man exclaimed as he spilled the contents of the purse onto his hand. "This isn't even worth the bullet I would use to put that miserable women out of her misery!" He threw the little bag over his shoulder as he shoved the gold into his own purse, which was growing rather fat from today's winnings. But he needed something better, something bigger. He was growing bored with this small game, and desired a real looting. His eyes fell on a pleasant little tavern off the main road. Without any hesitation the man made his way to the tavern, drunks were probably the only thing easier then the elderly. Wait, cripples. But they were normally a poor lot.
The pungent smell of liquor replaced the pleasant smell of salt water as Cedric entered the tavern. His crimson eyes quickly took in his new surroundings. A few occupied tables, a bar, and stairs leading up to what could only be assumed as motel quality rooms. An overworked women manned the bar, serving out drinks and delivering food to her patrons. The sizzling and popping of food being cooked can be heard coming from a door behind the bar if it wasn't for the loud roars of the patrons. Rackham quickly made his way to the bar, where he took a seat. With his back facing the bar, he tossed down a few of the gil he liberated from the elderly woman. "Fetch me a chalice of your finest wine." Cedric said, not really caring what kind it was. His eyes were too busy looking for his next target.

Just think about this now, as we come to an end. The decisions you have, made will come back to haunt you,
If there were three things Fang was not it was stupid, unobservant and inactive. She had wandered to the southeast out of curiosity, and well, she was looking for a certain soldier girl, but Lightning wasn't the focus at this very second. This scalawag of a pirate was as she leaned against the wall of a building. Fang hadn't like the looks of the man walking the elderly woman to her home. It was all little red flags that went up as he walked away and she walked to the woman and dropped a back of seven hundred gil in her hand and proceeded then to follow the man whom had stolen from elderly woman. The old woman was shocked but obviously would be happy when she realized she had been stolen from. Idly the woman ran her fingers through her hair.
Now, Fang would attempt at least initially to solve this in a civil manner, but the kid would bring it on himself if he decided to retaliate or deny it. Her jade eyes were darker, it seemed the huntress was a bit uptight. Upon her shoulder a little Pulsian chocobo chick stood chirping and nuzzling itself against her neck. It caused her to smile slightly, the little fluffball was cute to say the least and it drew attention to her. Nobody had ever seen a chocobo of his color before. Her eyes were locked on the man though as she had the chocobo hop into her hip pack, known to be it's nest where it could sleep and hide from people at will. It seemed this man had gone into a tavern, perhaps to hide or celebrate? Who knew, all that mattered at that moment was to makes sure he was brought to justice.
"Fetch me a chalice of your finest wine."
Her pristine sapphire blue sari barely touched the floor when she walked in. Immediately she could see that the majority of the inhabitants here were male. Heh, just her luck. Good thing she was a woman, and despite being quite attracted to only the female gender, she did know how to get what she wanted from a man. It usually involved a sharp stab with her bladed lance somewhere where the sun just doesn't shine. She almost hoped for a fight to break out. Walking by one particularly drunk man she grinned. "Y'mind if I borrow that knife for a moment?" It was either she was particularly threatening or the man was just to drunk to not agree but she took the knife and noted she was out of view from the man because of a conveniently placed wall. Sliding the knife into a separate compartment of her hip pack, she finally walked into the whole of the tavern.
The smell of cheap booze, smoke and seawater was all she could smell. Nothing like the fresh air of her home land of Gran Pulse. But she'd be home soon enough, for now it was time to exact subtle revenge on this man. Sitting a chair over from him she smirked, and looked at the selection of the different wines, liquors and ales. Alcohol in general to the woman was a disgusting thing but she'd take a shot for now. And so she ordered one of the strongest things on menu. Now, Fang can hold her liquor despite what most think about the woman who declines alcohol almost nintey percent of the time. She downed the shot rather easily, and smirked at the man. The little pirate would be going down tonight, and not in the way she knew he'd want to be.
"So, what brings ya to these parts, eh?" she said with amusement tinging her voice, a characteristic smile on her face that of someone knew her would know that she had ulterior motives for speaking with him.
Oh what a fun night this would turn out to be.

Now we're gonna go till they kick us out Or the police shut us down It seemed like one of those women folk entered the bar. Cedric liked the burly men in the bar. They were fun to break, but there was always something about a women that made him shudder in the night. But this one wasn't any normal woman. She was a lot tougher then the ones Cedric was used too, a heck of a lot tougher. He may have to watch himself around this one, especially since she approached some drunks at a table. Rackham's crimson eyes lingered on the warrior, wondering what she could possibly use wasted men for for... Sober ones were so much better. The women soon emerged from behind the wall, Cedric wasn't sure what happened between the drunk and her but he would bet five bucks that the butch was rejected.
"Here you are sir." The bartender said as she placed down the large glass goblet filled with a crimson liquid. Without thanks the man picked up the glass, carefully examining in liquor. The wine glittered in the dull light from the lamps, and seemed to be the same color as the man's cruel eyes. After a few minutes he seemed satisfied with it and took a rather large sip before returning the glass to the counter top. By now the burly woman was talking to him in some thick and disgusting peasant accent. Ah well, he could at least try to get laid tonight. He was getting bored of playing with his first mate.
"Ah, it is a pleasure to meet you mademoiselle," Rackham said with a lustful smile on his face. He may not be all that attracted to Fang, but she was better then his First Mate. Hell anything was better then him. "I have come far and wide, searching for a beauty such as you. After endless months adrift in the dark blue ocean, I have found my way to this pleasant little city, and you." His final sentence was complimented with a wink. He knew that flattery wouldn't get him very far with a girl like this, but it never hurt to try. Although he was careful to avoid any solid facts about his home, and name. He cheated way to many women in his days.
The thought made Cedric rather uneasy. He cheated a lot of women and men over the years... A lot. It wasn't his fault he was immortal, and had horrid standards. Well it was, but that wasn't the point. The point was that this women looked familiar, and crazy because she just got rejected by a drunk. Cedric shifted in his seat a bit, uncomfortable with being so close to the warrior. But the chalice of wine at his side put him at ease. The man took another large gulp of wine, this time keeping the glass in his hand, occasionally swishing the crimson liquid along the edges of the glass. "And perhaps, if you are feeling rather frisky, we can retire to my personal cabin later."
