Groggily Rosa stood from where she had fallen. A hand on her head she cleared her thoughts which took some time as there was a hazy fog across her mind. It was as if she could barely remember anything despite her being almost a hundred percent physically. Looking around she found herself inside of a small thicket outside of a town. "Ugh... Last thing I remember was standing near the window of the castle inside of my room awaiting Cecils return. Yet now I am out inside a forest..." When the realization hit her she looked around a little frantic to see if someone was nearby and had somehow kidnapped her again. Seeing noone around her she relaxed and placed her hands in a prayer stance and silently said a prayer to her fortunate luck to be both alive and not kidnapped again.
After finishing her prayer she searched the local area to see what if anything was laying nearby to help her return to her home. To her shock and surprise she found the well crafted Artemis bow and her quiver of arrows sitting in a small pile nearby. :: This is so odd. It was as if someone was expecting me to be here and that I would need these... There are too many coincidences right now to go unnoticed. But I will think on them after gaining my bearings and heading into that town I saw earlier. :: Grabbing her bow and quiver she tossed the quiver over her shoulder and placed the bow at the ready as she made her way toward the town.
No sooner had she exited the thicket than it opened up into a large open plain. Which made Rosa a little happy as it would mean for a little bit more ease in her travel. Making good time she could barely tell what time of the day it is as there was a thick hazy fog that encompassed all she could see other than the outline of the nearby town. As she neared the edge of the town she noticed it was nearly completely destroyed as there where burnt out ruins of the buildings. Then it hit her though as she saw a small burned flag on the ground. :: This is Baron Village... No it cannot be... ::
That single revelation made her sprint into the center of the town where she looked around and saw not a single soul around her. Turning her head she saw the remains of her mothers house and she collapsed down onto her knees. "Mother... No... I still needed your guidance..."
With her own words being the only sound within the city she stayed there staring at her mothers house unaware of her surroundings.

Freya had met good people, it seemed, during the attack; she was welcomed with open arms in helping the restoration of Baron. Civilians were few but those who had managed to flee had start to come back and start re-building their homes. Freya was a soldier first and a leader second; she had underwent a trail such as this. She was here for the battle and able to help.
Why would she not? However, as Freya was coming back towards the castle, she saw a woman, robed like a noble, fall to her knees at a house that had suffered greatly. Freya immediately approached her. "Is there something amiss, Ma'dam? I suggest for you not to be outside with Baron at it's current state. I'll give you my word, ma'dam, that it will be restored to its former glory."
Rosa must be wondering who she was. "I am no soldier of Baron, however, I have fought off the bandits who dared caused Baron to fall in ruins. My name is Freya Crescent. Please, allow me to escort you into the castle." She knew Rosa must be royalty, but she had no idea that Rosa was, in fact, Queen of Baron.
It seemed like the castle was the safest place to be in, currently.

Rosa had sat there her knees in the mud like a commoner staring at the burnt out shell of her families home. Looking at the ruins she was so transfixed upon the singular fact that someone had come into her town, killed her people, but most of all killed her mother. It made her so angry and yet sad at the same time. This had blinded the Queen to the approach of Freya. Turning her head toward Freya she would hear the words come from her mouth and yet it all still seemed to be in slow motion. Each word was one of caution and had Rosa been in her sane mind she would heed the words of the woman, but this was her at her weakest most vulnerable in years. Not since she lay helpless in Kaipo with Desert Fever had she felt this helpless.
Listening as the soldier admitted she was no soldier of Baron and yet she came to its aid Rosa would speak up for the first time. "Then let the Queen of her people thank you for fighting bravely in her defense Freya... Tell me this... Was there any of the bandits left after the battle was over and where they given proper burials as all people no matter how wicked deserve?"
As she spoke Rosa would slowly rise from her kneeling position before the burned out house. Her hand was balled into a fist around her bow as she kept staring at the house and after to her what felt like hours turned away to look at the Burmecian. Taking her left hand she would wipe away a stray tear from her face and would straighten out her dress some. "It would not do those that survived this horrible incident any justice if their Queen sat here in the mud wallowing in her own self doubt... I must lead the people if Cecil is not here. Become the stone pillar upon which to rebuild this city and great nation..."
Echoing out a few civilians would turn to look in the direction of Freya and Rosa. One of them would be heard yelling out. "Look the Queen has returned. Long live the King and Queen." A smile would creep onto Rosa's face as the words made it into her ears. Despite the smile though Rosa would brush away another tear as she would speak to Freya again. " Could you please escort me back to the castle... I feel there is much left to be done..."

Freya was surprised to hear she was the Queen of Baron. She needed to be cleaned quickly but also, it was good fortune as well; her ultimate reason for being in Baron was to speak with the King and Queen of Baron. "There were no survivors on the bandit's side; soldiers fought bravely to make sure of it. I do believe that Lord Kain had known the Queen may be saddened if they were not given a proper burial."
Freya had fought side by side of Lord Kain, after all. At how intensely she stared at the house,Freya couldn't help but speak. "There is a possibility that whoever has lived in that home has fled to safety." She couldn't tell her lies; she didn't know who live there nor if they were dead or not. She allowed the Queen to stand on her two feet.
"I do not know if the King is here; he was not at the throne room at the time of the attack. But your words are very inspiring, Your Highness." Freya bowed to her. "Of course." It wasn't the time to tell Rosa who she really was - Appointed Leader of Burmecia, for she was currently grieving and reeling in the shock of the attack.
Freya led Rosa, making sure to not stray far from the Queen. Though people's interest had piped, and certainly those who mentioned the Queen had arrived grew the interest of the others around, Freya was a soldier and, thus, would always keep suspicion that one civilian was an assassin in disguise and may wish to harm the current Queen.
It wouldn't happen on her watch.

Her mind was dozens of places after finding her family home burnt to the ground, but now she was narrow mindedly focused to her new task. That task was to rebuild Baron, make it stronger, better than it was before. Listening to Freya she heard that they had wiped out the bandits, but more importantly to her Kain was there and had made sure the bandits despite their evil had gotten burials. "That sounds like Kain to me... Always a good heart that beats deep within that man." Speaking up her words where just loud enough to be heard above the din of activity.
It was not long before Rosa heard Freya speak up about the people within the house escaping. Letting out a sigh Rosa would lower her head a little in defeat and speak up. "I can understand that you said that out of kindness Freya, but the thing is... I know that my mother did not escape the house. From what I saw there where items she always had with her no matter what left within. But the first thing after getting the town rebuilt is building a memorial to those who have passed on in this. I will be placing it directly upon the spot my old home stood... Plus if my mother had survived the burning of the house she would of fought the bandits and we both know what happens to those that fight and cannot defend themselves all that well..."
By the end of what she was saying Rosa was choking back her own tears as she was attempting to stay strong more for the people of Baron than herself. There would be time for tears but that would be later within the privacy of her home. Hearing Freya mention that the King was not in the throne room when they got there and that there was no sign of him during the attack. Rosa let out a sigh as she knew that he had to be alive. Then came the compliment at her words. Rosa would give a gentle looking smile as a response to that. "It is just something that comes natural to me... Always has. I love my people almost as much as my own family. So I treat them as such."
Noticing the crowd starting to gather as they walked she would wave to a few of the people as the walked toward the castle. Stopping at the bridge into the castle she would turn on her muddy boot heel and look over the small group of people. "Everyone... I know this is a trying time for us all but please let us rebuild together. I will assist any of you as I possible can. Do not loose any hope as we will rebuild as we are Baronians. Our home may be ruined but its people still live on. So long as we do not give into despair we will prevail and we will have a place inside this crazy world..."
After speaking she would give a bow to the collected people and turn heading into the castle slowly as she did she would speak to Freya directly. "If I may ask I have never encountered a person such as you are Freya. Where is it you hail from? I can understand should this not be the right time but consider it a little of my curiosity being quenched?"

She seemed to know Kain. She wouldn't be surprised; he seemed like a very important person, after all. However, Rosa was convinced that her mother was dead and, honestly, she couldn't blame her for thinking she was dead. Freya nodded slowly, letting the thought go, not wanting to burden the queen any longer with the thought of her mother being dead.
Freya smiled when Rosa was very nice to her people. "It brings me joy to know that the people of Baron have such a loving Queen." Freya complimented once more. Freya stopped when Rosa turned, for she was her escort for right now and couldn't just leave her as she addressed her people as a true leader shoulder. She hoped she was as good; her people needed her.
After her address, she turned to the castle and spoke to her. "I hail from Burmecia, Your Highness. It is a country within the Central Continent. I am Burmecia's Appointed Leader. I had come to speak with you and your husband in hopes for a peace talk but, instead, I come to find Baron in its current state."

Each step was getting easier and easier to take. As they neared the castle it felt to her a weight was being lifted off of her shoulders as it always had when she would return to her home. The sight though of the castle in such disrepair made her jaw drop. :: There is no way the castle was this bad off... Not even if the Red Wings turned on us would the destruction be this bad. I was there when they laid waste to Damcyan and it was nothing compared to this level of destruction. ::
Rosa had stopped stock still lost in her own thoughts as she scanned back and forth across the castle and moat. The glances around the moat made her partially sick to her stomach. Sickly green water and whatever else swimming within the moat made her stomach churn. As she looked at it she thought about what it was she could do for her people being just herself. :: What evil so great has befallen my home... Zeromus was not even this diabolical in his attempts upon the planet... Cecil where are you my beloved. I need your strength now more than ever... ::
As she thought her hands would clench in front of her in prayer. Her eyes would close and a simple prayer would be heard from her. "Give me the strength to get my people through this... Everything I am... Everything I can and will ever be be pushed aside as I want my people to become stronger and return to normalcy."
Her words would not reach out to far as she was attempting to stay quiet and would raise her head and look over at Freya. "I am sorry for the interruption in our walk into the castle... I blame it on taking in all this information all at once. You say you are the leader of Burmecia I believe. Pardon my words now if they seem a little harsh but what would your land that I do not know of. Care about reaching out to my devastated country? Once again I apologize for my words but I know nothing of the outside world or anything other than what I see before my face..." Rosa would start off speaking softly until they had made it into the throne room. Upon entering she would stop and speak toward the Burmecian frankly and to the point.

Freya noticed the Queen was not herself or, rather, lost in thought. She wouldn’t blame her; she came back to her home pretty much demolished. Rosa probably most likely remembered her home in prime condition…it was no better that she walked into this devastation than she when Burmecia was destroyed. However, she had faith with the king and queen back, or at least the queen, this place would be restored.
Freya said nothing as the queen spoke a simple prayer. She herself wasn’t religious but she could relate in some way to her prayers. As Rosa acknowledged her, Freya shook her head. “It is alright. The shock of having you’re home destroyed would make anyone fall to their knees.” Freya spoke. Freya nodded to her second sentence. “Ahh…it seems as if you are not informed, Your Highness. I shall inform you immediately.”
Freya started. “My country is located in the Central Continent. Your home is no longer located in it’s origin. Baron is now located in what is known as the Southeastern Continent. We are in a somewhat…distorted world.” Freya finished. They had almost reached the throne room by the end of Freya’s explanation of what had happened to her home. “I have some very important matters to discuss with you.”
However, she looked at the throne room ahead. “We can speak in your throne room, hopefully?”

Inside the throne room Rosa looked around her eyes lingering over the pair of thrones at the head of the room where her and Cecil led their people. ::Cecil where are you my love... Kain has returned to us, and we can be as we where. A happy couple with our best friend at our side. :: Her thoughts where cut short by Freya's voice speaking up. Turning her head she looked at the Burmecian directly, listening intently to the words she spoke. Hearing that her home was on some twisted continent in the Southeastern Part of the world that was also twisted made her head hurt but she would not show it.
Rosa would turn her body to face Freya as she mentioned talking to her about important matters and if the throne room was safe. "There is only two rooms more secure within this entire castle. The first is mine and my husbands private chambers. The other is the hidden crystal chamber within the castle. Only myself and Cecil know of its location as it was placed here after we became the rulers of Baron. Follow me I will bring you there and we can talk there safely..."
Rosas words came out calmly and without any deviation to her tone as she motioned for Freya to follow her. Walking to the thrones she would be seen to move a few things upon them and press a pair of hidden switches. Behind a tall statue of Cecil's Dark Knight armor the wall would open and reveal a hidden chamber as the armor had moved as well. Walking into the chamber Rosa would motion for Freya to stick close. "This room was placed here by Cecil's Brother. There is nothing within here other than it was designed to be a safe room for myself and any children that me and Cecil have in the future...But enough about this room what is it that you need to discuss with me Freya?"

It was strange to hear that the throne room, to her, was not a place of secrecy. Who would dare have eyes in the room? Or ears, for that matter, but theirs? But Rosa seemed intent that her room or this hidden chamber was the safest of places to talk in. Though it wasn't actually very bad news, nor important in the sense of letting it not fall to the wrong ears, but she appreciated the privacy.
"As you wish, Your Highness." Rosa directed her to the hidden chamber, though why she chose that location rather than her room was a mystery to her but The queen must have her reasons and Freya wasn't the type to pry, especially from royalty. She explained this room to her and asked Freya to explain what important matters she had to discuss with.
"There is a war going on in the Northern Continent Countries. I have gathered information saying these are the countries Archades and Cocoon. However, it has spread throughout all but the central Continent - your home included. I've been out trying to go to all the leaders in hope to extend my hand in peace; I wish no war to befall my city."
Freya continued. "I fear what happened in Baron is result of that. I know your knowledge of this war must be slim, but even so, I only hope for our two cities to never war with each other. Burmecia, too, had suffered greatly when war had hit. We had just been recently restored to its' full glory, but I do not wish for it to be be destroyed again.

This had been the first time she had ever had to use this room so she had actually got to see it. :: Well Golbex you certainly outdone yourself with this hidden chamber... I wonder how it is you are doing inside this twisted world... :: So turning her attention back to Freya it was in time to start hearing Freyas words. Hearing of a great war spread across the Northern Continent and how it was slowly spreading to the Southern and Central ones. Lowering her head she listened intently and her expressions would show how concerned she truly was. When she stated that she wished to extend Burmecian peace toward Baron made her rather happy.
A rather good idea to set up a peace treaty with another country especially since the condition of her home. "Having someone to call a friend within this world. I will agree that Baron shall never come to war against Burmecia but I would like to ask if there was a way I could ask your aid in rebuilding of Baron? Cause if you need it we could attempt and assist you in your rebuilding should you need it?"
Her words came out cool and calmly sincere as she could possible could be. Continuing on she spoke more. "If you cannot assist us I will gladly accept the peace that you offer us as without our Red Wings our city is pretty much defenseless. Until I know that my husband returns to the city from wherever he is galavanting around at and he can rebuild the morale of the soldiers of this city we might need help if more bandits come into town... I apologize for rambling innanely and I say we shake upon this agreement and then we work together and rebuild our homes."

Rosa seemed clearly concerned about the war as mcuh as she was when she first heard of it. She had already gotten peace between Cocoon and Alexandria but other places she did not know. She planned on visiting to other areas in hopes for peace. But Freya also knew she couldn't be leaving so often; Burmecia may be hit by a sneak attack and with no leader, Burmecia may fall.
The Queen asked if she could send relief aid. Though it was something she wanted to do, if Burmecia were to be attacked, she would have little chance of escaping. However, before she could reply nor think, Rosa continued. She spoke so freely about the weakness of her city? Freya wouldn't let this information slide; others may target Baron for it.
However, Rosa still wished to extend her peace as she raised her hand and Freya took it, shaking upon their agreement of peace. "It would be a pleasure for peace. I'm afraid I can not lend any soldiers; we have few to start with. However, when I reach home, I can ask the rest of the people of Burmecia if they so wish to help the re-building of Baron. I know that many will want the restoration of Baron, despite this place not being their home."
While doing that, she could ask for the rest to enlist and undergo training to become a Dragoon Knight. Freya knew she wanted peace, but if she was attacked, she would need to retaliate. Re-train those already trained, and go over battle tactics in case of an attack. She had mcuh to do when she got home, it seemed. "I fear I can not stay long myself; I have left Burmecia without a leader for far too long."

Standing there Rosa would listen to everything Freya spoke to her. IT was true that help could not be afforded if such things had occured around the globe simultaneously. "Do not worry yourself too much then with our cause Freya if your people suffer as mine do as well. Our peace shall be one forged out of this hardship, and perhaps our people will become more than just idle allies. A bond of friendship may be created here this day. With your actions against the bandits and now with your saying that you would help us even in the littlest bit... It makes the word friend seem closer to a reality does it not?"
As she spoke Rosa would of walked out of the small hidden room and toward a window. Looking out over Baron she would clutch the windowsill tightly. She had been fighting back many tears from the burden of what she had learned on this day, but at this moment she was having a harder time than normal holding them back. "There is a staircase that leads to a personal airship that my good friend Cid created for the Kingdom before all this. If it works I say we use it to transport what we can back and forth between our people Freya... This is a world where war should not exist and yet it does. I guess most people need it to survive."
With her speaking once again Rosa would keep her back to Freya. After what seemed a long few minutes Rosa would turn to Freya and speak again. "If you must excuse me Freya I am feeling tired and will be heading to rest in my quarters... Feel free to take anything for food or medicine that you need. Be it for yourself or your people. Let them know that Baron as soon as she is back on her feet will be a steadfast ally of yours. Now I must be off."
Rosa then gave a single bow of respect to the Burmecian and walked out of the throne room and over to a nearby tower that was surprisingly untouched by the desstruction of the rest of the castle. Entering the base Rosa would walk in and head to hers and Cecils quarters. Upon reaching the quarters Rosa would collapse back down onto her knees and would cover her face with her hands. She had lost the battle to keep the tears bottled up when she was finally in private. "Cecil.... where.. are you... Baron... No.. I need you right now more than I ever have ever needed you to be here."
