The Wings Of Freedom Sings
Screams of fans in the stadium would pierce the air like a gun-shot filling all of Luca with the wild hoots and boos, but Miumi wasn’t a part of it. He hadn’t managed to gather enough money to get a ticket to get in and thus had missed his chance to look for Agana; he had attempted to sneak in twice but had nearly gotten caught by security both times and by now they were looking for him. He could hear it the dull echos of his feet pounding against one of the paths as he would run, but no matter how fast he ran he could still hear the sounds of the guards shouts and the sound of them closing in. Miumi would look at one of the piers and he would smirk for a moment as he would pivot suddenly bolting down it. He had found something promising a place to hide; a variety of crates which had recently been shipped in as he would push off the ground managing to clear one of them his hand slamming down on the top of it pushing off as he would slide into a small gap.
His breathe was taken from him as he slammed into the corner of another crate and would gasp for air but quickly slummed down in the corner listening to the sound of the guards running down the pier looking for him; but it was like he had just simply disappeared as he would stay perfectly still even refusing to breathe for maybe a minute or so until he could no longer hear their heavy leather boots pounding against the pavement. He would slowly breathe through his nose as he would press his face against the crates peeking through the thin cracks in the crates; he could no longer see them but he just refused to move as he would press his hands to the spot where he had collided. His ribs hurt and he was pretty sure he had bruised one or worse as he would just press against the flesh rather tenderly afraid to push too hard. He would lean against the metal for a moment taking a few breathes through his teeth, but otherwise Miumi didn’t show to many signs of pain as he would look out at the sea.
It brought back memories of home and memories of his travel with Agana and even the other world; the world where there was sanguine fluid and waste everywhere. His eyes would come to rest upon the setting sun; the vibrant flames burning on the horizon from the hot reds to the vibrant shades of orange and even the hints of majestic purple it wa beautiful and Miumi would just allow his legs to slowly unfurl danging over the edge of the pier as he would hum silently to himself.
“ Agana where are you?’ “

Lo swam, and swam and swam, until she couldn’t anymore. She wasn’t very deep in the ocean, but still had to look up to see the ground above her. Her tail pushed the rest of her body up through the water until her head surfaced, slowly, giving herself enough time to survey her surroundings. She saw she had managed to reach a city, on the actual ground, and was quite excited. A nervous and scared feeling had also floated into her stomach, but there was no one on the…long jeti of sorts that was in front of her, so she decided to linger for the time being. She slowly swam her way to the edge of the massive structure in front of her, a pier, with a giant spherical dome at the end of it.
Of course Lo wanted to investigate and see what it was all about, but she was not ready for that just yet. Her heart was still pounding with slices of memories, attempting to trace themselves into her mind before escaping. There were water falls, shades of purple, and a whole lot of mist – but it was a little fuzzy. Okay, so maybe she had been swimming for a while, but it was all still recent. Recent enough, anyway.
Suddenly, Lo realized noise in the air. It was a curious noise, but she could definitely tell it was people. Probably people with legs. She hadn’t actually had a whole lot of experience with walking-people, only a few times really; but now she may have to talk to them to figure out what was going on. She didn’t recognize anything, even sights in the sea were completely off and not normal to her eye. Sure, the sea was a big place but she knew her boundaries and she knew her markers. The people making their loud noise of cheers and disapproval continued to beat in Lo’s ears, and suddenly something made crashing noises above. It ended, and steps mocked her until they reached the edge. She quickly went underneath and hid near a beam, only the top of her head to her big eyes visible. The legs of the figure draped over the edge, making Lo’s heart pump even faster. Instead of getting worked up and swimming away, risking the chance of communicating with any intelligent creature, she closed her eyes for a moment and breathed. It seemed as if the person was alone, so she doubted anything would happen to her, no one had seen her. The best thing to do would be as friendly as she could, right?
Opening her eyes back up, and making herself visible to the shoulders, Lo bobbed through the water, slowly coming around them in a way and stopped not far out. She saw it was a boy, and he was looking at a sun set with many different colors and hues. It was beautiful, but Lo saw many beautiful sunsets. She turned back to him and came out from underneath a bit more so he may see her.
“The water’s great, you know.” She grinned.

The Wings Of Freedom Sings
A dull pain radiated through Miumi’s side as he kept gingerly pressing his porcelain fingers against the spot where his ribs had connected with the edge of the crate. He would take a few deep breathes causing it to expand and he would cringe wishing he hadn’t as a sharp pain would rocket through his very core. The only relief he got was from the warmth of the sun as it cascaded along his body and warmed his flesh. His eyes would widen as he could hear something moving in the water; something that stood out against the definitive lapping of the waves against the bottom of the pier and his hands would slide behind him reaching for his holster grabbing the compressed Okamiga no Oni . His petite form would curl inwards slightly allowing his head to peek just slightly over the edge he would see Lo’s body moving forward and his head would follow her movements; albeit he found it a bit weird she was out here swimming alone for someone who was so pretty. He also questioned her sudden appearance as he had barely been able to register her sudden arrival to the fact she could be a fiend of a sort.
Such distrust had already been laced into Miumi’s mind; from years of living as an assassin and a hunter, but he still found it easier to trust people when he could get closer to them. He would allow his foot to drape over the edge removing his hand from the holster and made it look like he was scratching his back as he would allow his leg to slowly lower down towards the water. He would stop once the sole of his feet were touching the surface of the salty sea. He would inhale the fresh breeze of the sea’s perfume and he would smile as it reminded him of a place called home. Miumi had lived around the sea all of his life and Miumi would just allow his legs to slide into the water holding onto the pier with one hand he would silently tread the water while looking at Lo, but he would look down trying to see her body under the water but the murkiness made it harder.
“ … it reminds me of home…” “

Lo had considered splashing the person that sat above her, but she soon saw he was quite ruffled and seemed to be in pain. She bit her bottom lip as his head followed her, not quite sure what to do. She knew no white magic to cure his ailments and was probably too frazzled to do any right now. What she didn’t expect was him to suddenly lower himself into the water a bit as well. Sure, she had said the water was great but she didn’t think he’d get in so quick with a strange girl that just came from seemingly out of nowhere. That was okay though, yes, she was simply just backing up to give him some room…because there wasn’t enough room in the sea around them. It wasn’t that Lo was entirely distrusting or anything, this place just wasn’t one she knew, nor were the places she’d been in the past few hours. Was it really hours? The sun had made that appear to be so and still it felt like, well, forever in a way.
Lo continued to bob in the water, also moving around a bit so she hopefully wouldn’t seem as strange when she had backed away. She couldn’t be sure it would work though. A sort of sadness, maybe, entered her mind when she couldn’t see his legs anymore. She hadn’t seen legs in a long time, and they were quite wonderfully puzzling to her. The different parts they had, their flat-looking feet, and their knobby…knees, was it? Finally the opportunity to see them so close in person came along, and it was taken from her; For the time being at least. They had to get out of the water at some point, right?
The boy’s response entered Lo’s ears which made her turn her head to head to look at him, but she continued to swim. She began to slowly circle him as he said, “…it reminds me of home…” Lo giggled to herself, not completely inaudible to him, as she ceased the circling realizing how creepy it may have been. For the most part she stayed where he could easily see her, splashing around to herself while thinking of where to lead this experience. She didn’t know this person at all, and they seemed to be reasonably comfortable with people, so Lo tried to do the same.
“Yeah, tell me about it,” she said, smiling and making the smallest head-first dive into the water, revealing her fin.
