Nel didn't exactly like being in the same city where Albel Nox, fugitive though he was now, had been promoted to something a lot higher than his previous rank. And, most likely, had killed even more soldiers who had surrendered, even if they weren't people she had any way of knowing even remotely. No one deserved to be killed by that madman, even if he was on a side with slightly better morals. War was war; men like him would revel in it whether they were on the side with the moral high ground or not. In any case, she wasn't here to hunt for Nox, or put anything sharp through his nether regions.
She was here to buy an airship for her new leader, Laguna Loire of Esthar. He had one picked and reserved, but no one to get it for him as they were focusing on repairing their own ships and he himself was too busy to trek all the way to Archades to pick it up. And since she still wasn't 100% recovered, the job fell to her to retrieve the purchased flying contraption. Thankfully, the president had shown her how precisely to fly the vehicle, and she was confident enough to use it, though she still wasn't quite sure how she felt about such technology. Unfortunately, the time she had arrived to pick it up, they were busy with something else. So now, Nel was leaning against a wall outside the pickup area, waiting for them to let her know it was all right to take the ship back to Esthar. God she wished she could be somewhere else.

she spoke as her hand was raised to the Moogle. ”Give me some luck.” Mog would lean next to the object and almost kiss the smooth surface before retreating back with a ‘kupo’. Only then did the summoner gave a smile, already knowing the crowd around her where lost in confusion. Releasing a giggle Eiko adjusted the sphere just right on her thumb, which was hidden beneath Eiko’s tiny fist. ”Thanks Mog!”Suddenly the thumb flung upward and the orb went speeding toward the stones. Instantly the scarlet surface collided with the emerald, creating a rather large ‘clink’ noise. Eiko’s smile grew wide and her Persian green eyes brightened, watching her marble coming to a halt within the roughly drawn circle. Not to mention the fact her opponent’s emerald marble was flung out of the circle, along with another’s sapphire marble. Both marbles were out of play while Eiko’s stayed in play, instantly marking her as the winner of the game. Tiny legs shot upward as the little girl sprung up in victory. ”I WON!” Once firmly landing with a light click Eiko’s eyes fell upon the taller, and much older, kids. ”Now pay up!” Instantly the boys retreated back and instantly Eiko narrowed her eyes. Instantly placing hands on her hips, the vertically challenged girl peered up at the oldest. Puffing her cheeks out, she huffed, ”We were playing for Gil! You shouldn’t make deals if you can’t pay! That’s rude!”As Eiko continued her demands, Mog let her beady eyes fall to the other two boys. Swiftly they were gathering up the marbles, hastily as if they wanted to hide the fact they were beaten by a six year old. Tilting her head, the fuzzy puffball wandered over and picked up a marble. Unlike her older, summoner, sister, Mog wasn’t interested into the Gil but enjoyed the show. Plus, Mog liked helping when she could (and if the situation wasn’t terrifying). Once the final sphere was in the bag, the little moogle let out a cheer as she clapped the stubs that were her hands, ”KUPO! KUPO! KUPO!” Obviously Mog was quite proud of her actions. Suddenly a yelp echoed into the city and Eiko retreated back. She had obviously stepped on the taller boy’s foot, before he actually handed some Gil over. Counting slowly, Eiko let out a sigh, ”Not as much as you said, but I can handle it.”With that Eiko would shove the gil within her pockets, reach and drag Mog away, heading toward the docks. Her goal? Either to pay for a ride out of Archades or she’d exit the main gateway herself. However, the gateway meant fighting monsters so an airship was less of a hassle. Suddenly the six year old say a figure, a teenager leaning against the wall. Eiko arched a brow, as she approached, before questioning. ”Those airships running yet to get outta here?”[/ul][/blockquote]

Nel was a bit surprised when a little girl with a horn on her forehead came up to her and asked if the airships were running. She had no idea what planet she was on, but she didn't like it much at all. Too foreign for her liking, though she had no real choice in the matter. She was working for Laguna now, and she was loyal; she didn't have any intention of leaving before her work was done. Yet still... A horn was on her head. Despite knowing better, Nel couldn't help but stare for a few seconds at the girl before her question hit.
At that, the raspberry-haired woman shook her head, giving a gesture to the door next to her. :I have no idea what's so important to them, but they aren't letting anyone in right now. I don't have anywhere better to go, so I'm waiting on them to finish. Nel, I work for the president of Esthar. He sent me here to pick up a ship since he can't come himself right now," She looked at the young girl a bit longer. Was she even old enough to be out and about in a town like this on her own? The kind of place that let people like Albel Nox wander around and gain positions of power? "What are you doing out here all by yourself? Aren't your parents worried? This doesn't strike me as the kind of city to be safe for children to wander around safely..."

As expected the taller girl would glance away, a typical action for those doing their best to avoid a confrontation – mainly with staring. A slight shake of her head allowed Persian blue locks to sway. The little girl would release a sigh, ”Anyway, about those ships.”Raspberry girl would speak and instantly Eiko would catch an introduction. Unpainted lips would flash a smile, enjoying the fact she did not have to order out an introduction. Why did it seem women would give their name away easier than men? However, the mentioning of them having the docks locked away highly irritated the girl. Flailing her arms out before taking one long leap straight up, Eiko let out a bellow, ”They’re not letting anyone in?! Why not?! What’s so important not to let ladies on! Making ladies wait is rude, don’t they know that?!”As swift as her temper came, it would fade. Once more the summoner would cross her arms, ignoring her bow had slid to the left; Mog was trying to fix that wardrobe malfunction. She’d inhale sharply, irritated at the fact she had to wait some more. C’mon! She had to practically hustle those boys to even get to play marbles! After almost beating the payment out of them, via by flute, she had finally gotten enough gil to travel. Only to have this Nel woman tell her she couldn’t leave just yet! Oh well, she might as well buy herself some time, huh? This Nel before her could help pass time, ”Nel, nice to meet you.” Eiko figured out she might as well be as nice (as she could possibly be). Now it was time for introductions. ”Eiko Carol,” she’d reply before her attention went to the moogle. Drawing the white puff over, the summoner gave a warm smile. ”And this here is Mog.” As if on cue Mog would wave her stub of a hand toward raspberry. Suddenly the moogle would cling to Eiko’s jumpsuit, hiding behind her summoner. Understanding the action Eiko sighed, ”Mog’s easily scared and shy. Don’t think too long on it.””They aren’t here,” the girl was blunt, but it wasn’t anything to whine over. ”New Mother and Father are in Lindblum.” Turning a half circle Eiko would point to the sky. ”I need to get out of here.” With a light giggle, the Persian blue haired girl’s attention went toward Nel. ”So they won’t worry anymore. We got separated, and I found Mog again. Now we’re going to travel together to find home.” If not Alexandria.”Hey, you said something about a President,” finally dropping her hand, the summoner felt heat rise to her face. What exactly was a President? That was a term she’d never really heard before, and she wanted to know. Shifting momentary, the tiny girl suddenly blurted. ”So that’s like a King or something? Or a noble?”[/ul][/blockquote]
