Well...at least he was in some place familiar. He was in besaid one moment, hugging Yuna, and now he was in Luca, wondering why nothing around Luca looked like...any part of Spira. 'Did the Fayth dream up something again? Now I have to question if I'm staying here.' Tidus thought. But all of it was so complicated. "...Ahh...where the hell is anyone?" He groaned. He knew Yuna, Wakka, and Lulu and their new baby were in Besaid.
Auron and his old man were dead. Well, Tidus shook that thought out of his mind. Both of those, and leaving Yuna, were one of the most depressing times in his life. He didn't need to be reminded. Rikku...was probably somewhere with Cid. God knows. Oh, wait, she was on that ship along with some gray-haired girl. Yuna promised to explain everything that happened in the past two years but he...wound up here.
'Luca's pretty boring without the Blitzball tournament.' Tidus thought as he was walking around, going towards the stadium. Then something interesting happened. Someone yelled 'I won!' and he instantly thought of a blitzball game. So, in his excitement, he ran towards them - to find it was just some coin game. "What are you doing?" Tidus questioned.
"I just lost to him..." The losing man groaned. "Okay, I got that much. But what are you doing?" They blinked. "From the outside, huh? This is a game called Sphere Break." The other man whispered to him. "He looks kind of familiar..." by the time both men looked back at Tidus, he was already gone, having walked to the docks. "Maybe I can ask for a ride, or something." He told himself.
"Oh yeah, with what money?" He said, groaning. Then it suddenly hit him. "What is hell is going on with this world?!" He yelled out loud. Good thing no one, seemingly, was around to hear his sudden uproar.

Luca. That city where the people of Spira could forget their woes, if only for an afternoon, in the joys of the sport Blitzball. Where almost everyone had a chance of finding their new direction, no matter where it may be. It was also a place for unlikely reunions. If Tidus had been paying attention, he might have noticed the light clacking of boots on the ground behind him. But he was Jecht's boy; awareness wasn't his thing, and it suited him fine. "Still haven't gotten over the yelling urges, I see," The comment came. From his tone, the man behind Tidus could have been talking to anyone. But somewhere inside, he was glad to see a familiar face, even if it was one of his charges.
Auron stood as tall and proudly as he had the last time Tidus had seen him. He looked just a bit older, and there was an air of power and calm about hi. His sword was shouldered in the same way it had been the first time they met in Luca, his stance was the same as well. He regarded his friend's boy with the same calm gaze he had the last time they had met. He was undoubtedly the same Auron that had traveled with the boy and his group of allies to defeat Sin. "It's been a long time."

”It all started when I saw a sphere of you...”
Fate, Yuna decided, was a cruel, cruel mistress. She finally saw him again, after two years. Two years, she grew in that time, driven by determination. She truthfully, before all of the things with Shuyin started, didn’t expect him to return, he couldn’t have as she was convinced long ago, that the dead could not return, even as she stubbornly clung to that frail hope that maybe he would, cause he was different.
He saw her, he looked at her and saw a woman, not the daughter of Braska, not the High Summoner. He only saw Yuna.
It was not hard for her to fall for such a man like that. Even as she sat on the boat heading for Luca, her guns tucked in there holsters, she wondered, not for the first time, if seeing him again was just a dream. It couldn’t have been though. It felt real, much too real to simple be a dream. Sighing softly she raised her bi-colored eyes and looked up to the sky, “What’s happening?” She mumbled, everything was...changing. She was just...so confused.
Some people who she talked too didn’t recognize her. Which truthfully, confused her, since her name was practically household, she was the only summoner to return from fighting against Sin. But when she talked to someone, dressed in clothing that Yuna has never seen before, they didn’t recognize her at all. Cupping her hands she lowered her gaze to the blue sea, perhaps Luca would hold the answers for her.
It didn’t take long for the boat to dock in the Luca ports. Disembarking the ship, she looked around, trying to figure out where she could head towards next. Not for the first time since Rikku...changed her wardrobe did she feel slightly uncomfortable. It showed so much skin, and two years ago, she was horrified at the clothing Rikku gave her to where ”You want to impress him right?” She had asked, her green eyes sparkling happily, ”Then you got to wear the right clothes!”
“Right...clothes.” She echoed, before turning towards Luca and headed for the city, but stopped short at the two very familiar figures, even though she focused more on the younger looking one. Her eyes filled with tears, but did not shed, It wasn’t a dream. She thought in relief and happiness.
Yuna broke out into a run, heading for that man in yellow and wrapped her arms around him pressing her face into his back, “You’re really here...”

Tidus looked at Auron as if he'd seen a ghost. That was partially correct, actually. Tidus just stared at him. Then it finally hit him to say something, anything. "A...Auron?!" Tidus yelled again. Yup, yelling urges were still there. Tidus wasn't sure if he should yell in excitement, hug the man only to be killed by his Musamane, or however you say that sword's name, or wodner if this was a dream.
Before he could question Auron any further, a familiar voice and when he turned, Yuna was there, hugging him. He didn't have time to think about his reaction as he held onto her. It was an amazing feeling, to hold Yuna again. "Yuna..." He said. He felt he might burst, but he tried to keep it under control. First of all, he was here, again, and not a dream.
Second of all, his friend, who was long dead and recently died, was right next to him. Then, last but not least, the person he loved, the person he had to leave, was not holding him. If this was a dream, whatever god was in Spira, he hoped that it did not end, like how he did. Well, the fact that he's here now meant he was no longer a dream.
"This...this is amazing." The whole experience, everything, even if it wasn't the most romantic place for a reunion, it was better than nothing. And he didn't yell, which was a breakthrough in on itself.

Both of his charges in the same place. Saved him the trouble of trying to find both of them to assert they were both all right. So he hadn't faded after all.... Or perhaps he had come back. Guardians tended to be hard to kill, after all. Regardless, they were both all right... and it looked like their love was still blossoming. His first thought when he looked at Yuna, however, was that Rikku had somehow gotten into her wardrobe. Or otherwise convinced her to wear such an odd outfit. In either case, he had no intention of questioning Yuna's clothing choices; if that was what she chose to wear, who was he to say otherwise?
"Indeed. I'm glad to see you've taken care of yourselves," Auron said, turning to gaze out at the sea which no longer held quite the same look to it. It was faint, but something in the very sea was different. He'd noticed since the instant he'd found himself alive again. He would have to set out once more, it seemed. "How long has it been?"

A smile tugged on her lips, feeling so, so content at being held in his arms. Something she longed for, for so long. She pulled back slightly but didn’t leave his embrace as she sniffled and rubbed away at the tears that were escaping from her eyes. She hiccupped slightly and turned to look towards Auron and smiled, “It’s so good to see you again, Auron.” She said to him honestly. It looked like he hasn’t changed at all, and she was glad, it was the only thing that hasn’t changed, while everything thing else seemed to be.
Releasing another hiccup she answered him, “Its been two years.” She looked back towards Tidus, “Since I last saw both of you.” The smile that cross her lips was full of happiness, they were both back...but then she remembered the weird things that happened, “But...” Her smile dimmed as she looked down away from Tidus and towards Auron, “Something strange is happening.” Her bi-colored eyes narrowed, “I met some people who seemed confused as to what Spira is and heard that some were from ‘Gaia’, but I’ve never heard of a place like that.”
It was so strange, there was...there was even new species popping up! And she couldn’t say that they were part Ronso, they didn’t have feline features, or horns. “I...I also saw some new species that I’ve never see before.” She had to share this, maybe Auron had some clue in what was happening, “This one girl, her arms and legs were disproportionate, but that’s not what bothered me, she actually had...rabbit ears and tail...” Well truthfully, that was really cute, maybe she should talk to Rikku about that...
Shaking her head she looked at Auron, then up to Tidus, “Spira...I’m not even sure if we are in Spira anymore...” She tightened her hold on Tidus’ clothing before pressing her cheek against his collar bone.

Tidus didn't know what to do. Here Yuna was crying, then Auron was talking to him, and he swore the world wasn't...as usual. But first, Yuna. Tidus tried to comfort her, and tell her he wouldn't be going anywhere. Two years...that was a long time. And yuna certainly looked...different. Huh. Why didn't he notice it before? "I uh...like your new sense of fashion." Tidus said, hopefully not sounding offensive or anything.
He then listened to Yuna talk about the strange things she's seen. He continued to listen as he took one of his hands and placed them gently on her head. "Something happened to Spira...?" What exactly happened in these two years. "I did find some odd game called Sphere Break. And then the guys I was talking to mention the 'outside'. Does that mean...Spira's...inside?"
That made no sense, but sometimes Tidus's explanations didn't really make sense in general. He also seemed confused at his own explanation and gave a nervous laugh. "Don't worry Yuna. I'm sure everything's fine. If Spira's somehow been torn apart, we'll fix it. You saved the world once, and you can save it again."

"This problem isn't near as bad as the others you've faced, Yuna. Letting your resolve falter now wouldn't do at all," Auron commented, looking at the two. It was interesting. They still held that same love for each other that they had then, he could see it. After such a long separation, most lovers would have given up on their return and found another... interesting. But not worth commenting on. If they made each other happy, so be it; if they stayed together, then it was that much easier for him to keep an eye on them. Make sure they didn't get themselves into any trouble they couldn't handle.
But they seemed to be doing just fine. "Still passionately in love, I see. Perhaps I should let you two have some time alone," Auron said, turning and walking a distance away. He was still close enough that he was visible to them, and he could still see them as well. From here, he could see the walkways leading to the other docks, with many people coming and going. At least a third wore foreign clothes, and commented on being from many different worlds. What an interesting situation...

Yuna released a small laugh, “I’m glad.” She said up to him and leaned back, and touched the crest, his crest that was on the front of her shirt, practically keeping it closed. “I put this on here, in memory of you; I hope you don’t mind...” She said up to him. She...she wanted to remember him, wear his symbol proudly, even if he didn’t come back, she hoped he didn’t mind.
Hearing his words, she couldn’t help but smile up at him, and nod her head, “Yeah, you’re right, we will.” That was the man she fell in love with. She didn’t realize how much his voice was like a soothing balm to her. She couldn’t resist pushing herself up onto her tip toes and placing a soft kiss on the corner of his mouth.
Pulling back she looked towards Auron, and nodded her head, her eyes flashing in determination, “Yes you’re right.” She then smiled, “I missed your words of wisdom Auron, however blunt as they are.” She told him with a slight giggle escaping her. Two years...it seemed so far now when she thought back on it, but it wasn’t, two years was short, barely a passage in time, but it still didn’t help that it felt so long. Blinking she looked at Auron’s back, “You--!” She started to say, but stopped. He was respecting them, she would honor that.
So without much more prodding, she turned back towards Tidus and tucked her head underneath his own, feeling so at peace in the first time in a long time. “It hurt...” She began, her voice quivering at the memory, “When you disappeared, I didn’t lose faith though, I went out to the docks everyday in Besaid and whistled, hoping that you would hear me.” She tightened her hold on his abdomen slightly, “Hoping you would return...”
Pulling back, she gazed up towards him sliding her arms up to drape over his shoulders, interlocking her fingers behind him. Her bi-colored eyes shining with happiness, and love, “Welcome home...” She whispered to him.

Tidus looked at Auron and back at Yuna. Tidus blushed a little when he mentioned being passionately in love...which was very true. He was glad Yuna still held feelings for him since he disappeared. But still Auron didn't have to...oh wait, Auron could never resist to joke when he could. With Auron now, somewhat, out of the picture, he could give his full attention to Yuna.
He looked at the crest and smiled. "Of course I don't mind.I'm just glad you wanted to remember me." Why he didn't notice that her clothing was...revealing especially with him staring at the crest is unknown. With the kiss, he blushed even more. How he missed those soft lips...though he only encountered them once. Tidus almost wanted to laugh when Yuna was almost going to tell Auron off. But then the mood got slightly darker when she recalled the memory.
"It hurt me too, Yuna. I mean...I never wanted, or want, to see you cry or be hurt but...I was a dream. When you defeated Sin, their dreams ended and...with that, me." How he was here now was a miracle in on itself. But she was whistling for him and he never came...Now he felt bad. But then she changed the mood around again as Tidus wrapped his own arms around his waist. "I'm glad to be back." He said, leaning down to kiss her gently.

Yuna shook her head, “But you’re not just a dream.” She murmured, “Not anymore.” She didn’t even bother to fight the kiss, feeling much too happy to even try and deny—not that she would. She could never deny him, it’s been much too long since she’s been in his embrace, felt his lips against hers, felt his touch. She wanted to feel it all again, and again, and again, and knew that she would never get tired of him.
She smiled against his lips feeling his arms around her waist, before unlinking her hands and bringing them back so she could cup his face, before sliding her fingers into his unruly hair. Slowly, almost shyly, she lets her tongue peek out before gently pressing against his lips, before Yuna pulls her head back, her cheeks stained red, “I-I’m sorry, t-that wasn’t meant to happen.” She stuttered, resisting the urge to cover her mouth and hide her shame.
Gods she was so embarrassed right now. She let herself get carried away and did something stupid. Swallowing thickly, she pressed her face against his collar bone and released a small laugh. Always him, it was always him and his ability to sweep her off her feet and make her feel so much younger than she currently was. She didn’t want to push with Tidus...she didn’t want to lose him if that was the result...not again. It had hurt so much when he was gone, she had literally seen him vanish right before her eyes, fading away...and her, a High Summoner, could to nothing but watch. She was helpless.
Feeling his body against hers...it was finally a dream come true, and well, she was a teenager and with hormones, she was glad that he took of a sport like Blitzball. “Oh...” She said softly, before tilting her head back up towards him and smiling widely at him, “I started playing Blitzball.” She told him.

Tidus was real happy at this point. He loved the feel of her pressing against his own lips, the warmth that radiated from her, her everything. Not only was she cute, but she was perfect in every way. How a guy got someone like Yuna, even Tidus had to wonder. He was happy he was no longer a dream and that he could be here for Yuna as a person, not a dream.
Just before Yuna pulled her head back, Tidus did feel that tongue on his lips and was shocked as she pulled away. When did...Yuna learn how to do that? Or rather, when did she get so carried away enough to do that? Tidus didn't doubt her, but this was a pleasant surprise. It was too cute when Yuna apologized for that. She always did apologize for everything.
Tidus smiled with her against him again. "It's okay. That sure did surprise me though. I-In a good way of course." Then he had another shock of the day - she said she plays Blitzball now. "Really? It's a pretty fun sport, huh?" Tidus said, grinning widely. She had grown so much over the past two years.
To be honest, he rather liked the change. Though, shy Yuna from two years ago, he wouldn't mind having that either.

Yuna could feel her cheeks heating up again, “A-A good way?” There was something like that? Well this was Tidus, she really shouldn’t be surprised. But still, she...she...why did she do that anyway? She just...fell into instincts...
At his grin, she couldn’t help but match it, “Oh yes! I’m not very good at it though.” She said, her skills were nothing compared to the Star of the Zanarkand Abes after all, “But I was having so much fun, I didn’t really care.” She told him with a bright grin, “Maybe you could teach me...?” The last time the two of them had been together in water was...
Her cheeks reddened at the memory, of them in the lake...it was one of her favourite memories however, one that she usually turned to, to remember his gentle touch, his confidence in the water...his lips. But now that he was here, she could just remind herself with him, she wouldn’t need to cling to that memory as much anymore. “Maybe I’ll surprise Wakka---Oh!” She just remembered, he had been gone for two years, he didn’t know yet as far as she remembered.
She grinned up at him, “Wakka and Lulu got married!” She said happily, “They even have a baby now, a boy, his name is Chappu.” Absently she turned around and rested her back against his chest, placing her hands over his that were around her waist and gently rubbing at the skin on his knuckles, “He’s adorable, he has Lulu’s skin, and Wakka’s hair, I think he’ll probably develop his Father’s taste for Blitzball.”
Yuna tilted her head back, and grinned up at him, her bi-colored eyes twinkling, “Or maybe his Uncle will have a hand in that?” She had no doubt in her mind that Wakka would want Tidus to be an Uncle for his kid, once he got over the fact that the blond was in fact alive again.

Tidus smiled bigger. He had a lot of practice, a person he wanted to be better than, so he strived for it and got there. However, if he was truly better than his dad is unknown and he isn't likely to find out. But if he rose from a dream and Auron's back from the dead, it was entirely possible. Of course Blitzball was fun, but he played to win and that was his motto. But, he didn't mind. This was Yuna after all.
"Of course I will. But I won't be going easy on you." He joked. Ahh, Wakka and Lulu got married? He sort of saw that coming. Not because of Chappu, but because Lulu seemed to be...close to Wakka. Maybe it was lover's intuition. He named the kid Chappu, eh? Tidus laughed when she called him Uncle. Yeah, Wakka would probably want him to be his uncle.
Not as a replacement for Chappu, but because he was their friend. "Of course I will." He said, laughing. It was good to be with Yuna, and Auron somewhere around here. He was pretty sure he was around here somewhere. There was no way in hell Auron would leave Jecht's son and Braska's daughter unchecked. Bad things happened when they weren't.

Auron allowed a small smile to escape his usual expression. The joy evident on the faces of his charges was a welcome change from the thinly veiled despair of two years ago. He was happy for the two of them, that they had their loved one nearby to comfort each other. They had indeed grown, even if he had not been here to see it. But touching though their reunion surely was, on the docks in the way of the arriving ship's passengers wasn't the best place for them to have it.
"You can continue this later. For now, we should move somewhere else, where you aren't in the way," Auron said, seeming to appear beside both of them. He had walked, of course, but they were so absorbed in each other at the moment he doubted they noticed him. "Congratulations are in order to both of you. You succeeded where countless others failed for over one thousand years. But this is neither the time nor the place for that. The road to the highway would be a more peaceful spot to continue this reunion."
