"Dammit.. WHERE THE HELL AM I??!!" the ivory haired female snarled into the wide open hillside. Her eyes were narrowed dangerously in a murderous mixture of rage and fear as she paced the area she'd awoken in just moments ago. The sound of her foot falls were unusually audible despite the lushness of the grassy ground beneath her feet.
Her gaze pierced the hills, searching for anything familiar to remind her of Aerie. But that attempt was failed. Everything was just a little too lush. Even the air was more crisp and had an unfamiliar scent to it. As far as her eyes could see, there was just grass; miles and miles of it.
"DAMMIT!" she belted aloud once again, kicking uselessly at a large tuft of grass nearby, only to have her foot get tangled in it. She scowled viciously and grunted, trying to pry herself free of its' grasp, but instead of succeeding, she fell backwards onto her bottom. A slew of obscene curses escaped from her pretty lips as struggled against the plant.
Ha ha! What the hell sunshine?! A familiar yet annoying voice in her head sounded. Of course, she had forgotten about the shade that had been possessing her body for only a mere few seconds. That was rather alarming..
"Shut up you, I don't want... any.. censored lip! HEAR ME?!" she grunted out, finally managing to free herself. A warm feeling washed over her as she felt Tyrann's amusement. The bastard was relishing the annoyance of her current situation.
"Censored shade.." she muttered angrily. The warm feeling increased. Instead of acknowledging him this time, she bent over and brushed off a few blades of grass that had clung to the wrap around her leg. Grumbled a few more curses about grass stains, she finally stood back up; somewhat recovered. Kainé looked at her surroundings once more, still irritated that she could only see grassy hills.
"Fine. I'll just look for the tallest censored hill and go from there."
Ha ha ha ha! the shade laughed merrily. She merely grunted and began walking, what she thought was uphill.

A tall man of amber complexion sauntered out on to the broad hilltop that acted as an entrance into the Calm Lands. A big left hand shielded his emerald apertures from the brightness of the sun. Flourishing vegetation found itself crushed under foot as Gideon drew nearer to the edge of the hill. A deep velvety tenor came into existence.”So this is the Calm Lands?” The great expanse before him gave credence to its name. He looked over the plane of rolling grass and the majestic backdrop of the snowy Mount Gagazette in awe. He eyes finally adjusted to the light Gideon placed his hands behind his head and stretched, a couple pops and cracks coming from his back. Afterward a sigh of relief permeated his lips. From his far left he heard a cry. ”What the hell was that?” Wandering to the top of the slope he noticed a white haired girl with her foot caught in a bush or something, Gideon squinted while his head tilted to the left a bit as if he didn’t believe what he was seeing. In the end the girl was rewarded for her toils by falling on to her but, the stander by stifled a laugh at her misfortune. The girl began to cuss something vicious that would make a sailor blush; Gideon erupted with laughter nearly doubling over. ”Eh… who’s she talkin’ to?” The strange girl began to fuss at someone who wasn’t there, was she a sick in her mental the mountain of a man wondered. Finally the odd girl got herself free and cursed the man that wasn’t there again. ”A shade, ain’t that ghost?” he thought to himself not too well versed in paranormal activates.(HA shitty movies -.-) The white haired girl definitely had an attitude problem and a nasty expression to match, moreover she was headed right towards Gideon, a gentle breeze blew ruffling the long raven hair of the statuesque figure that stood at the top of the hill looking down at the little demon approaching. Gideon hopped she’d show a little more polish if she chose to speak to him, otherwise the two might end up in an argument over nothing.

A young girl with bright auburn hair and charcoal colored eyes walked up next to Gideon. She looked over at the girl who was cursing and laughed. Clearly the girl who found the Calm Lands frustrating was definately not from Spira. Kat looked over at Gideon briefly and said, "It looks like we've got company." She returned her gaze to the ivory haired girl and wondered if it was the peacefulness of the Calm Lands or the terrain itself that bothered her. Deciding she'd rather not encounter this woman she started to walk away but kept both Gideon and this stranger in her sight.
The Calm Lands. Of all the places Kat had been, this was one of her favorites. The untamed wilderness and the serenity could do wonders to a person's stressful mind if they let it. Kat glanced over her shoulder and figured it would be best if she kept a little distance in case a fight broke out and she needed to intervene. Her hand drifted to her sword and brushed the hidden gun she had. She was ready for whatever was going to happen next.

We have company sunshine. Her unseen partner warned her. Glancing up the hill, her eyes locked onto the titan like male figure that gazed down at her.
Wordlessly, she stopped in her tracks. Placing a hand on her right hip, she cocked it and stared back at the male. His rough appearance reminded her very much of a certain someone. However the nostalgia was quickly swept away.
It was odd. Pulling back the memories got harder with each attempt. A headache was also beginning to form because of it. But when she decided to forget what she was trying to remember, the headache evaporated.
"Tyrann..." she said quietly, an urgency in her tone. She was careful to not let her voice carry up to the individual only meters in front of her, just in case.
Yeah I know. Someone or something has been censored with our memories.
"Censored" she swore quietly, then turned her attention to the person before her. Her facial expression remained hard and reproachful as she eyed the male.
"Who the hell are you?" she demanded, narrowing her gaze. It was still a rude greeting, but it could have been worse. Much much worse.

So far in their travels together Kat didn’t talk much and rarely had anything kind to say to him, but he didn’t mind he was somewhat use to her type because of his kid god sister. The more you intentionally ignored them or found little ways to get under their skin the more they acted out; personally Gideon thought it was funny. It was good having someone to travel with after all this time even if Kat acted like she didn’t like him. Seeing the young woman laugh after all this time made her companion laugh all the more. ”Yeah…” his deep velvety tenor resounded as he half looked at Kat nodding his head in agreement before continuing on. ”You two could be sisters.” He remarked following it with a low grumble of a chuckle. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed movement on Kat’s behalf, she was walking away to avoid the new comer leaving Gideon to deal with her on his lonesome. The man sucked his teeth and looked at companion sideways. ”Really?” The tall man, Gideon became trapped in the foul mouthed girl’s headlights like a deer. The girl came to an abrupt halt and gave the unsuspecting man a bit of nonverbal sass as she stared at him. Gideon’s shoulders were as if they were sculpted out of marble as they heaved with a light sigh. Then long sinewy arms crossed themselves about Gideon’s broad chest as he lips contorted wryly, his facial expression saying ‘what’? From their current distance she would be able to notice something peculiar about his eyes, they had a misty glow about them even in the intense light of the mid day sun which would lead one to question if he was entirely human. The girls lips moved put they were too far apart for Gideon make out what she was saying by ear but he was adept ad reading lips. ”Ty~rann?” Who was that Gideon wondered? The girl’s approach was rather abrasive like someone else’s, they seemed a lot alike already. Gideon shook his head slightly in dismay then stretched his arms out at length insinuating his irritation. ”PSHH Don’t any of you women have any god damn manners? You introduce ya’ self before askin’ some their name get it? So who the hell are you?”

Kat stopped walking away and looked over at Gideon and the newcomer. The girl seemed to frustrate him which was definately hysterical....to her at least. She watched both of them carefully and readied her pistol. It would probably be the only thing that could hit them from this range. Her fire spell could hit them but she'd rather not waste a good spell on someone like the ivory haired woman. From what she could hear of Gideon's bellowing, this woman had done the same thing she had and asked for a name before introducing herself. Kat laughed quietly, she didn't want to draw attention to herself but she did want to keep an eye on the situation. If it came down to it she could slide down the hill with ease and interrupt anything vaguely lethal.
She had been traveling with Gideon for a little while now and it still bothered her that he didn't leave. She had tried to push him away when they first met but he had been so...persistent. Why in blue blazes did he want to travel with her? She had no idea. She looked back at the two of them and noticed that although they had a different build, they carried themselves with the same posture. Oh censored, she thought, they're both stubborn warriors. Great another mess i'm going to have to clean up.

Kainé narrowed her gaze even more at the titan before her, but didn't flinch. His presence wasn't threatening at the moment, so she didn't immediately draw her blades. His eyes were rather striking, now that she peered at them. They were an intense green unlike she had ever seen. In a way, she was a bit mesmerized by them. But she didn't let that fact show upon her face.
Her own amber hues bore into his, judging for any ill intentions. Finding none, she then crossed her arms just below her breasts. It was an unconscious action. However since she wasn't growing to draw her weapons, she needed something to do with her hands besides just let them hang.
"Kainé" she said finally with an unmovable expression. Her eyes flickered as she looked him up and down, noting that he was most definitely a warrior of some type. As if the gleam in his eyes couldn't tell her that fact.
There's another one over there sunshine! Tyrann pipped up. Taking her eyes off of the male, her gaze locked onto the person Tyrann had noticed. It was a lone red haired woman. She appeared calm and collected; similar to a business or no-nonsense type. Her expression shifted for an instant, lips curving in a small smirk. Kainé knew her type. However, her smirk instantly vanished once she noticed the device that she was clutching.
A "Geh" sound escaped from her lips as she tensed and quickly drew her blades, readying for an attack.
"Son of a censored" she muttered as she backed away, her gaze shifting between the two strangers.

Kaine’s glare hardened more as she looked at Gideon who returned it with a furrowed brow of irritation. For now the girl didn't seem hostile, although she talked a big she was rather docile at the moment. Their eyes locked for a good while before either spoke, it seemed that she was searching for something that wasn't there, Gideon honestly didn’t mean her any harm, after all why would he even bother to talk to her and keep his distance if he meant to do something to her? The girls ruddy optics were unlike Gideon had ever seen normal, only in albinos. Taking into account of her white hair the tall man wondered if she was something of the like. The girl removed her hands from the general vicinity of her weapons which made Gideon relax a little seeing as she meant no harm to him as well.
It was just Gideon’s luck to constantly run into dangerous young women although the one with red hair was more mischievous in her dealings. Finally the girl spoke her name as she looked Gideon over more closely; it was really awkward to have to go over this procedure yet again. From the Kane’s earlier demonstration Gideon could surmise that she was rather feisty and possessed a great deal of expendable energy, in addition she was possessed by something called a shade, which worried the green eyed man a little he didn’t know anything about them.”My name’s Gideon.” He wasn’t sure what Kat was up to in the background at least she could introduce herself to relieve and further suspicion. Gideon noticed Kaine’s eyes wandered from him to Kat. He spotted the subtle smirk on her face, Gideon already knew what it was, both were women and Kaine was sizing her up getting a feel for what kind of person she was judging solely on appearances at this point. Then came the peculiar squeak for a split second Gideon was painted confused until the white haired girl drew her weapons. ”Eh…Hey whoa chill!” Gideon left foot shuffled back skewing his broad form his right hand out reached towards Kaine as motion meaning for her to stay her hand as he looked back to Kat to figure out what set the girl off. There it was, the gun, Kat had her gun out and cocked ready to bust someone already. What was she thinking, you can’t go around waving weapons every time you run into somebody. ”Put it away, NOW. You can’t just pull that anytime we run into somebody.” He demanded of her like much like a captain would of a subordinate engaging in misconduct, his booming voice reminiscent of the thunder plains. Looking back to Kaine he gave her reassurance. ”Hey, look at me. Everythin’s alright, just a lil’ miscommunication her name’s Kat. She just gets ‘excited’ when she meets someone new. ”

She glared at Gideon. Who the censored did he think he was, telling me what to do, she thought angrily. The young woman in front of him had clearly noticed her and saw she was armed. It wasn't like she was going to shoot this stranger, she was only keeping an eye on the situation in case things turned deadly. Kat sighed and started down the hill towards them. While running down the hill she took the magazine out of the gun and put it away. There was still one bullet in the chamber of the gun she held, as a just in case. She stopped walking towards them when she was a few feet away. "Don't tell me what to do Gideon" she snapped at him. Kat looked at the girl and saw she was still tense and would probably kill her in a matter of seconds in she didn't do something. "I apologize if I startled you, I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to kill him" she told the stranger. She showed them both that there was no magazine in the gun and then she removed the bullet from the chamber. Putting the gun away she gave the girl a look that said 'better now?'

Her attention was caught between both the man and woman. Gideon, as he had introduced himself, stretched out his arm towards her in a staying gesture. Her beautifully sculpted eyebrows arched in bewilderment; didn't he realize that she could easily lob his arm off within seconds? It wasn't an action most seasoned warriors would take, but she supposed that his sincerity in not meaning her ny harm was genuine. She believed him a true warrior, if maybe a bit more social and outgoing than most. You could always tell by looking someone in the eyes, there was an undeniable strength that burned there.
Kainé watched as he barked an order at the red haired female, his voice deep and booming much as she had expected. It was when he asked her to place her attention on him that the tension in her eased up a bit. She stilled gripped her blades, but her shoulders slacked significantly more than they had been mere seconds before.
She gets so excited that she has to draw her weapon, hm? she thought sarcastically to herself, eying the woman doubtfully.
Kat effortlessly sprinted her way down the hillside that separated them, disassembling her weapon as she came closer. However, she still held it loosely at her side once she had finally closed the distance. After a quick complaint of Gideon's commanding her, the woman eyed Kainé.
Instantly her eyes hardened, daring Kat to challenge her. It was more like a clash of personalites in Kainé's eyes. Who had the more dominant one, Kainé or Kat?
The tension completely dissolved in her however, once Kat apologized for the scare and put away her weapon. Though still leery of the two strangers, Kainé stayed her blades and followed suit.
"It's fine" she replied, her voice a bit rough.
Really now sunshine? Ha ha ha!
Ignoring Tyrann, she kept her expression blank as she scanned the scenery in the sudden silence. "Could someone tell me where the hell I am? Cause honestly, I have no censored clue."

Gideon noted the irritated expression on Kat's face; he knew that she would give him an ear full when she got the chance to. He didn't care, she was wrong for what she did. You go into a situation expecting trouble and trouble is what you get. It's best to try diplomacy before resulting to hostility. Yet Kat's initial response to everything was to be overly suspicious and hostile. How did she expect to make any friends that way, then again by the way she treated Gideon it was evident she didn't want any. But that was not neither here nor there; Kat's lack of interpersonal skills made traveling a little more difficult than it needed to be was all. Finally Kat came nigh removing the clip from here weapon, Gideon wondered how many bullets Kat actually had left, from before she had fired what, three bullets into that monster in the Thunder Planes?
It seemed that she had a full clip from her current actions, so she was holding out on him again. Anyone who knew anything about guns knew that there was a possibility of a bullet being in the chamber of a semi automatic, Kat didn’t cock it to prove or disprove that one was there. She was doing what she does again forever ready for a fight; Gideon shook his head slightly at this realization. As Gideon expected Kat gave him sass the first opportunity she had.”You know you dead ass wrong.” It came out like a half hearted gloat. Kat then apologized to Kaine while taking another shot at Gideon, the hot headed girl never missed an opportunity and Gideon rolled his eyes response immediately the EX-SOLDIER could feel the tension brewing between the two women, he was a little dejected being caught in the middle of it . To think that should could simply dissect Gideon’s arm at her leisure was foolish in itself, he projected his right arm for a reason, it was armored not only that she’d still have to cover a little distance to reach him with her weapon and Gideon wasn’t as slow as he would seem. Elsewhere It seemed that Gideon was able to calm Kaine down as denounced by the drop in her hostile posture though she still gripped her weapon. Gideon was a man who had a firm belief in using ones weapon if it came to the point it needed to be drawn; he wouldn’t draw his sword unless he had then intention of hacking someone to pieces. Finally Kaine sheathed her weapons but it was easy to tell she still wasn’t too keen on the duo. The shamefully attractive girl to a moment to gather in the surroundings in the calm and inquired about her whereabouts in so many words. ”The Calm lands of Spira.” So this one was most likely from a different realm like he was.

Kat remained silent as Gideon spoke, she didn't have anything to say to either of them. To be honest she wasn't really too happy at the idea of traveling with Gideon but she was stuck with him for the moment being, at least until she could find a way to slip away for a little while. Kat looked at the two of them and decided she would let Gideon handle the 'diplomacy' while she looked around for anything vaguely different than the Calm Lands she knew. She had traveled here once before but the reason why escaped her. Maybe she would be lucky and find a clue as to why she had come here before. "I'm going on ahead. There's something I need to check" she told the two of them. It wasn't exactly a lie, but it wasn't exactly the truth either.
She walked in the direction the ivory haired girl had come from, noticing subtle differences in the landscape as she walked. The terrain looked and felt a little wilder to her and the air wasn't as calm as it had once been. There was something...off about this place and she couldn't put her finger on what that was exactly. She kept moving forward, not wanting to stop long. The monsters that roamed this part of the land were probably hybrid creations from the merging of the worlds. The Calm Lands looked basically the same as they had always been just a little less calming and a little more hostile.

Kainé watched as the red haired woman passed by her and headed over towards the area she had awoken, somewhat in a daze. The Calm Lands? Where the hell was that? She'd never heard of such a place in her life.
Clenching her fist with anticipation, she frowned to herself and attempted to retrace her memories in hopes of figuring out why she was here now. She remembered being be at her hut.. but nothing after that. The only other thing she remembered after that was opening her eyes and she was here.
"What a pain in the ass.." she mumbled under her breath, very disgruntled. She shifted her weight unconsciously to one leg, jutting out a sharp hip.
"The Calm Lands huh? Never heard of 'em" she told Gideon, while looking around once again to survey the area. It wasn't a bad place to look at. Lots of rolling hills and the mountain in the background made the place seem sort of ethereal to her.
Of course you haven't sunshine, we're in a whole other censored dimension!
Suddenly without warning, her stance faltered and she swayed as a spell of nausea passed over her. She caught herself before she fell by bracing herself with her knees. Hunched over in a sort of squatting position, she placed a hand to her forehead.
No way. I did not just almost faint like a little censored.

The Kat held her tongue, a very rare occasion. Leaving his side she headed in the direction that Kaine had come from."Alright." He said to kat in response, curious as to what her motives were this time, she could have really needed to check something out but Gideon doubt that, was all there was to it. As Kat and Kaine passed by one another Gideon could feel the tension in the air between them, it was almost as if they already knew and didn't like each other.
Looking at them together it was almost like they were sisters. Gideon tried to keep a close eye on Kat wanting to know what she was really up to, still this wasn't a good place to try to make a run for it, Gideon could see her where ever she went, unless she miraculously vanished into thin air. Gideon's luminous optics shifted back to Kaine half heartedly as she muttered under her breath. "That's not a suprise, so where are you from?" He asked fervently taking a moment to view the landscape in Kat's direction, just what was she up to really? Maybe she just didn't want to deal with Kaine, she was already at wits end putting up with Gideon alone. "Hey!" Swifty Gideon covered the small gap between them supporting her so that she didn't fall. "Did you just wake up? Can you remember anything?" gideon was familiar with this unusal sickness, people who just awoken into this new world often feel ill and there memories are jumbled or completely gone.

Kat paused for a moment, something felt off about this place as if it had become a part of something malevolent. She heard Gideon call out and turned around to see what was wrong. The pale white haired girl almost collapsed and he caught her. Kat ran back to the, crossing the distance easily. "Is everything alright?' she asked them curiously. The girl he held looked pretty sick from what Kat could tell and there wasn't any medical supplies in the area so there wasn't much she could do for the stranger.
"I'm afraid I can't do much to help you, she told Kainé "but I can fix any injuries you may have sustained before you met us. She didn't really want to help this unfamiliar person but it was the right thing to do. From what was evident, there didn't seem to be any injuries but who knows there was always internal damage too. I hate feeling like a doctor, she thought as Gideon helped Kainé to her feet.
