His touch jolted her back to her senses and she instinctively brushed away from his support.
"I'm fine.." she told Gideon, not looking at him directly. His concern for her well-being threw her off, making her somewhat embarrassed. She had only ever had one person in her life who'd cared and looked after her, and that person had died years ago. So she was unused to such luxury. No stranger had ever voluntarily touched her in her homeland. She was an abomination after all.
"Yes" she began in reply to Gideon's initial question. "I just recently awoke here. And I only remember being at my hu--.. home." Most of her past memories were there, but the fact that there was no event in her memory that explained how she got here bothered her. Though the way Gideon acted suggested that this wasn't uncommon. So did that mean that there were more people in a similar situation?
Her attention was captured as the red haired female made her way back towards her and Gideon. Kainé felt the other's eyes rake over her as she looked her over for what she assumed was for a sign of wound.
"I'm afraid I can't do much to help you", she said "But I can fix any injuries you may have sustained before you met us."
Kainé gave her a bleak smile, "There will be no need for that." That's right, not only did she gain incredible strength from being possessed, she also healed much quicker than an average human. If she would have suffered any sort of injury, it would have long since been healed. However, she didn't feel the need to tell these two that.

It seemed that his firm touch against her ivory skin brought her back to life so to say. She pulled away from he quickly, from her reaction Kaine appeared to be the type that didn't like to be touched as she immediately drew away from him. Gideon didn't make a fuss about it after all Kat reacts the same way, but the EX-SOLDIER wondered what her M.O. was. What type of person was she really, she came off brash and ill tempered but those sort of people have usually been mistreated which evokes such responses and behavior. Gideon didn't know if he should trust he psychological evaluating skills he slept during the class most of the time.
Kaine started to answer his question but quickly changed her wording at the end, for a brief instance Gideon thought about what she began to say but all he could come up with was hut. This girl lived in a hut, just what kind of place did she come from? Otherwise it was evident she didn't have any recollection of the worlds merging. Gideon himself was in a precarious position at the time of alignment. He was trapped in a mako flow, the blood life of the Gaia realm. IT warranted question as to how many realms had actually fused together, at this point Gideon was aware of at least three of them excluding his own.
Gideon followed Kaine's line of sight spotting Kat returning to their fold, what was she up to know? Surprisingly she offered medical attention to the stranger, a commodity Gideon himself didn't receive Gideon looked at Kat and cocked his head just so his expression a mixture of confusion and amusement. Gideon then looked back to Kaine and pondered her well being, carefully looking her over not to seem suspect she looked to be fine, also there was the business of this shade thing, what was it? Gideon didn't feel that it was in his place to out her in front of Kat especially since he didn't know what he was dealing with. For now he would keep a watchful eye on her and a friendly smile."When you try to remember things do you experience headaches?" [/b] he asked Kaine trying to obtain a little more information[/justify]

Kat looked at Gideon as he gave her an amused look that held the slightest hint of confusion and in return she shot him a look that clearly said, you didn't need help. She remained silent as the two of them spoke and thought about what she knew was happening as well as what the woman had to add. It seemed there were more worlds merging every day. More changes to the landscape as it added elements of other realms to it. And last but not least, more people from all these strange worlds.
Exactly how many worlds are merging? Kat thought silently as her gaze drifted back to the landscape and the subtle changes that were around them. This was definitely not the Calm Lands but at the same time it was. Kat was lost in her thoughts when Gideon's words snapped her back to reality,"When you try to remember things do you experience headaches?"
Headaches...? Like the one she'd had back in the Thunder Plains after her and Gideon had talked on a somewhat decent level? she pondered, even though he acts like the womanizing type, he has some decency. Just what information is he trying to pry from this girl? She looked at Gideon and raised an eyebrow at him. He wasn't acting like his usual self and this was something far different than Kat would have expected. Normally she would be the one asking everyone questions and trying to almost interrogate them but that changed. She had no questions for this girl and didn't want to even try and be friendly since it wasn't like she had any information that was useful to her.
