Scara waited for Ouranus to explain how the tree looked like, but then she spoke about how hard it was to explain and sighed, somewhat disappointed. She wanted to know this information so she could stay away from a place like that. However, if there were people like Ouranus living in a place such as that...then that would mean Scara needed to help these people.
"I want to see your home, Ouranus. If it's as bad as you truly say, I feel guilty for being in such a paradise. I feel it's my duty to help anyone in need - and if this mist is the cause of people's suffering - I'll have to get rid of it. I don't know how but...I sure have to try. For people's sake. To stop the monsters and to stop the death."
She looked at Ouranus and gave a huge smile. "If I can find the place, I promise to try everything in my power to stop the mist." However, Scara was curious about the notebook she carried. "I noticed you carry and jot in your notebook a lot. Is that so you don't have to forget anything you've done? That's pretty smart!"

"You shouldn't feel guilty."
Ouranus looked at the beach again as she took in a breath of the sea air and smiled. "Being here, it makes me know that even in this chaos there is still some hope in this world. And if Besaid can be safe from the cataclysm, then my kingdom can be saved as well." Snapping back to reality, she then turned to look at Scara. "If you wish to come to Alexandria, you must be prepared for everything that might come at you. There is still forces that will defend, but with the mist you'll need to be ready with the possibility that someone's mind will be altered." As she said that, she remembered what happened that day when she told her brother and sister to run. She didn't how long she was fighting, all she knew was that there were many people charging her and the last thing she could remember was only blood. By the time she was done, even her entire blade was stained red. After that, she did her best to clean up and tried to get her mind back to normal. But it took time, and a lot of traveling to try and understand what was going on.

Scara knew she shouldn't feel guilty. In fact, she shouldn't worry about something that was out of her power to do. However, Scara always had a want to help people and is there was some way to do it, Scara would find it. Scara listened to her and nodded. She wondered why Besaid somehow was saved and her home somehow wasn't.
She didn't mind but, why did they have to suffer? Why her home? Scara looked at Ouranus and smiled a bit. "I can fight, if that's what you mean. Don't worry about me...I've had to learn to defend myself a long time ago." Sure she had her friend, but her friend could only do so much. Then again...what if she could only defend herself because of Vento?
Scara shivered slightly at the thought. Scara sighed a little bit, not confident at all if she could truly defend herself. However, she wanted to go. Scara looked at Ouranus. "We should go together. To Alexandra, I mean." Scara spoke. "Safety in numbers, y'know? Even if you don't know where your home is exactly with the distorted worlds, I think we can both find it."

"I have no doubt that you can fight."
Ouranus had a confident smile on her face as Scara said that she could fight. She had a belief that if she was living in a world with monsters, then it is only a logical thing to be able to defend herself in the field of battle. But it wasn't fighting monsters that she had been hoping that Scara would be able to do. It was another thing entirely having to battle someone you know personally for most of your life. Every time she used her sword during that day, she felt a portion of her soul die with every kill she had committed. So coming back meant that a lot of her old demons would have returned. She knew the way back to Alexandria, but the problem was that she was concerned for Scara's well being. It was one thing to take out a monster. It was another thing entirely to kill someone that you know. Taking a deep breath and sighing, she then nodded her head. "I can show you the way to Alexandria. Just don't stray too far okay Scara? I got your back and you'll have mine."

Scara smiled softly when she had confidence in her fighting ability. However, one day, Scara needed to learn more physical attacks. She was so hellbent on healing others that her offensive skill needed work on. Akira would be sad to see Scara like this. However, it was more pressing to help Ouranus's home. Of course she had to learn to defend herself.
However, Scara wasn't necessarily proud of being able to fight. It was a necessity, of course, but violence was not the way. However, neither was sitting around waiting for things to happen either. Defending herself and others only meant that Scara had to learn how to fight. Scara might not be prepared for what she would see with Ouranus, but she wanted to go.
Scara smiled big, giving Ouranus one of her rare beautiful smiles. Akira always loved it when Scara smiled this big. It showed Scara was truly happy. "Of course! Lead the way!" Scara said, her voice full of excitement. It wasn't the thrill of adventure, but rather, the want to help those in Alexandria.
