Tidus had no idea what this blind date business was about. He certainly didn't sign up for it - after all, he wasn't even single. He already had the love of his life, and he doubted this blind date was the love of his life. Tidus, without seeing the girl or guy for gods know which one it'll be, he figured it would be a bad date. However, Tidus was a gentlemen, of sorts, so leaving the girl out in the cold was rather...saddening.
Tidus continued to wait for his date that might never show up. Actually, he hoped that was the case. That way he wouldn't feel bad about leaving this girl or guy behind and go and find his true love. However, he was sure that lady luck and whatever god runs the show wouldn't be as merciful and would have this girl presented to him in due time.
So here he was, standing outside like an idiot, waiting for this so-called blind date of his. Maybe he was drunk, though Tidus couldn't remember the last time he drank any alcohol period, when this blind date happened. After all, why else would he have been signed up for this blind date thing? It didn't matter because it was reality.

"I hate Kariya."
In an attempt to get Uzuki to loosen up, Kariya had signed her up for a blind date. He, of all people, should know she wouldn't like this at all. Of course, she had signed him up too, so maybe she would get him, which would most likely end up in a game. She doubted anyone interesting would show up for this date, if not some old creeper. She knew she was running a bit late, and despite her normal personality, she didn't care. She wanted this to be over as quickly as possible.
So, showing up about 5 minutes late, she looked around. His name was Tidus. Tee-dus? That should be how your pronounce it, she thought. Of course, it could be different. She didn't care. The date was to be over in an hour, or so she thought. Strolling up to the man, she gave him a once look over. She was dressed in more causual attire; the shirt she got from Besaid and her shorts, with her regular boots. She also had a little pink purse with her, which held some money and other things she might need. He wasn't unattractive, but he wasn't exactly her Prince Charming, either.
"I'm guessing you're Tidus. Can we get this over with already?" she said, sounding very unhappy about the whole situation. Giving him a look, she headed inside, looking around for the lazy bum. Seeing that he was nowhere to be seen, she sighed. Looks like she'd have to endure this one.

Oh hey there she was. Uzuki Yashiro, if he remembered correctly. She...didn't sound happy. Yeah, as he predicted, this wasn't going to be a very fun date at all. To be honest, he hadn't really taken his own girlfriend out for a date either. He wondered how he should...get this date over with fast? Tidus scratched the back of his head and sighed.
"Yeah. I'm Tidus. I'm assuming you're Uzuki then." Tidus said, crossing his arms. "You know, I don't want to be here anymore than you do. I mean, I have a girlfriend after all so this is all kind of awkward." He admitted it, scratching the back of his head. "Someone signed me up as a joke, probably."
Probably Auron, Tidus amused. But even Auron wasn't that evil. Possible Rikku, but he hadn't seen her since he disappeared. But it didn't matter. "Anyhow, I don't really know this place so...I guess we should walk around to see what's here?" And maybe he'll meet Yuna and they'll trade dates...or something.

It was from now on that Uzuki felt desparate to escape. She hated this guy, hated the idea of a blind date, and hated the stupid lazy bum for signing her up. She got a very bored look in her eyes, and didn't even look at him. She refused to cooperate with him. Stupid blonde boy. She looked up, watching the stars. 1 hour.
"I'm glad. There's no way I'd be interested in a guy like you." she stated coldly, giving him another once over. Why in the name of the Composer did Kariya sign her up for this? She was at least a millon times more likely to shoot this guy then enjoy her 'date' with him. Maybe she would do that. Shoot him, that is. Then again, Kariya would scold her.
"Yeah, whatever." she said, walking ahead of him along the beach, nearly stomping. Hopefully he wouldn't follow.

Oh great, he was more prissy than...huh, he didn't know anyone as prissy as her. Maybe that summoner rival Yuna had...what was her name again? It didn't matter. The feeling was mutual. till, he couldn't leave her...that, and they were on a 'date'. Even when she walked ahead, Tidus had to follow her. Then, some bright idea popped into his head.
"Okay, we both know we don't want to be here, ad we don't like each other, right? However we...uh...look around to swap, then? It did say on the letter and bad things could happen if the, uh, date doesn't happen. What do you say to that?" It was all in the plan. He would go find Yuna, get rid of this girl, and this girl would get rid of him.
It seemed like a win-win situation. "Or, the other plan is to continue this date." It was more like a nightmare than a date, but Tidus didn't seem to care much. Tidus didn't care for any other woman but Yuna. She wondered where she was right now...Tidus almost snarled at the fact that some guy was taking his Yuna out on a date...!
But, he didn't, just in case Uzuki turned around and saw him snarling. That, would be a bad thing.
