When Scara woke up they weren't there before. Scara thought it was okay to take a small nap under the shade of on of the many landscapes of Gran Pulse. It was a place monsters still roamed but didn't bother people, usually. However, upon waking up, she was surrounded by sheep. Scara was confused at why she was surrounded by sheep but it didn't matter.
She had to get out of the hoard of sheep if she wanted to continue on to Besaid. However, she found herself stuck between the herd and sighed. "Please, sheeps, can you let me through?" Scara spoke to them. However, her words proved fruitless as Scara struggled to get out. Eventually, a breakthrough as made from the middle of the group.
However, Scara had a long way to go. Scara finally exited to hoard of sheep as she sighed, turning around to look at them, realizing how massive the group was. Exactly what were they all doing here? She didn't know they had a hoard mentality or anything like that. While Scara continued to be puzzled with this, she didn't notice anyone nearby, if there was anyone near by.

Slinking through the wooden area was one of the best ways, that in all his years, was to stalk something that was in an open field. So far though, it’s been a very dull day, he had been hoping for a behemoth to walk by, it’s been awhile since he’s wrestled one and he could make a new pair of pants with the hide. A small monkey climbed down from the top of the tree the man was standing beside, chattering the whole way and the male sighed, if she was being noisy, it meant that there was nothing around.
Picking up the crude, but still good spear, he lifted his hand and scratched the underside of her chin, make her coo and playfully grab his finger with her tiny hands as her eyes closed in bliss. “What do you think of it Yume?” He voiced looking at the little monkey, before releasing a soft laugh and headed down the forest in an old familiar path.
Sometime passed before he heard the low familiar sounds of sheep...multiple ones at that, gathered together in a flock. Humming, he reached up again and scratched Yume’s head, “Looks like it’s that time of year again.” While enjoying the touch, the little monkey looked at his with her small black eyes and chattered something, making the human huff in amusement, “The wool keeps you warm in the winter, anything extra helps on the colder nights.”
Emerging from the forest line it didn’t take him long to locate the herd, they were loud. But he was surprised at seeing someone already there. Walking over to her, he practically towered over her with his height, “You here for the wool too?” He asked raising a brow, before reaching to his side and pull out a knife.
Moving past her, he sat cross legged on the ground before grabbing the thick wool of the closest sheep. With the knife in hand, he began the delicate task of taking off the wool from the live animal, as Yume sat on his shoulder, staring up at the woman, “You knew to Gran Pulse?”

Scara was shocked out of her wits when he came along. She jumped visibly, looking at him, though her eyes connected with his torso as she looked up at the towering man. Hey, he even had a monkey. However, that wasn't the most pressing issue. But that monkey was a cute one. Scara blinked at him when he mentioned about coming for wool.
Scara shook her head. "I was taking a nap and then they kind of...came to me. They're...very pushy." Scara said. However, he drew a knife and startled her. Sure, she had her weapons behind her, but she never ever wanted to draw them to a person ever. However, it became obvious he just meant to cut the wool of the sheeps.
Scara didn't mind sheep sheering - they got hot after all that wool and usually liked it when humans came along and sheered them for them. Then he asked how she was new to Gran Pulse. She shook her head. "Nope. I've been living here off my life. I've just returned from other places I have been, however."

“They always get like that this time of year.” He commented absently, trying to carefully, cut off the wool underneath. It took a few minutes, but with the sheep having much shorter wool now, he pushed on its bottom so that it would head back inside the herd, before grabbing another one.
“Oh, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen another Pulsian, I’m Muruga no Talon.” He introduced himself, his golden brown eyes not leaving the task before him, before he blinked and looked over his shoulder, as a small hand tugged at his ear. With a slight laugh he reached up and rubbed the little monkey on the head, “And this is Yume.” Hearing her name, she made a chattering sound and sat up a little straighter on his shoulder, the small little chest puffing up with pride. Wait a second...something that she said before...
“You didn’t know that this was the sheep mating season?” He asked her by lifting his brow, it was the only time of year that one could get so much wool at once. Sheep didn’t usually herd together, that made them too much of a huge target to the monsters that roamed around Gran Pulse, however, once a year, they would heard together for mating, right now this flock was full of females, it would take at least another day or two for the males to arrive.
It was kind of like a family reunion.
Yume made a curious noise and bounced excitedly on his shoulder, making him stop sheering again so that he didn’t accidentally cut the poor animal in his hands. “Yume wants to know if you got a family or from a village of some kind.” He voiced the monkey’s question. Over the years of being with her, he found out quickly that Yume was not like usual monkey’s, she was in fact, very intelligent, one just had to read her correctly.
Something Talon had twenty years experience with.

Scara blinked. Ahh, it's been such awhile that Scara had forgotten this was sheep mating season. Scara nodded. The only other Pulsian she had met since her whole time being here was Vanille. "I'm Scara Roshinto!" She said happily. In her village, they used a more modern form of naming their children, copying Cocoonians most likely.
Scara looked at Yume and waved at her, smiling bigger. Monkeys were an interesting find, even on Gran Pulse, since usually the pets were chocobos if any pets at all. Scara shook her head. "I forgot, really. It's been so long since I've been to Gran Pulse that it slipped my mind." Seriously, she shouldn't have forgotten something like that.
Scara obviously couldn't udnerstand yume so when Talon asked her about her family, Scara's smile dropped but was still there, though abet weak. "No. Everyone in my village died awhile ago. I was traveling with someone else but...now I'm alone again." Scara blinked and shook her head. "No, I'm not alone. I have friends elsewhere, off this world."
