WEAPONRY DDRAIG DDYRNFOLAU :: Translated as 'Dragon Gauntlets', the weapon that Cid Raines wields is, in fact, his white leather gloves. They are quite deceiving, however, for they appear to be normal leather, but have the strength of a dragon's scale. They don't tend to make a 'clang' noise like a sword to steel, too. The Ddraig Ddyrnfolau are often kept on Cid's person, in case he be attacked. These gloves may also meant to be fingerless, and they only cover Cid's fist too. The reason why they have fingers is because they're just protection plates of the same 'metal', which can be detached from the main glove.
MAGICAL ITEM ZEPHYR BROOCH :: A silver brooch crafted in the shape of an eagle, the Zephyr Brooch finds itself clipped on Cid's uniform or even as a necklace on a chain around his neck, or perhaps even on a belt loop on his hip! When the item is used, a soft sky blue glow will surround Raines and stay there until the effects it gives fade. The glow is, in fact, a shield that will decrease physical damage by 10% and magical damage by 5%, also granting Cid the regen status if he's below 40% health, and allows him an extra action on the post he activates it in.
- It has a duration of three posts.
- Decreases physical damage by 10% and magical damage by 5%, granting Regen if below 40% health and allows an extra action in the post it is activated in.
- It has a five post cooldown.
OTHER ITEMS LICENSE [ THE LINDBLUM ] :: Transportation fit for a protector of the skies, the Lindblum is an airship of the Guardian Corps, making home to the Cavalry division. This massive airship, although huge and heavy, finds speed and mobility, with attack power. It is a docking base for all other aircrafts in the fleet and base for the Cavalry. While a Primarch shouldn't really head a division in the Sanctum, Cid insisted that he protect Cocoon too, and use the Lindblum as his flagship of sorts. He has also regained control over the Cavalry, acting as a 'Brigadier General' again though obviously in charge of the military.
SIGNATURE ABILITY SERAPHIC RAY :: [ PASSIVE -> ACTIVE ] :: Confused at how he managed to keep this ability, due to not being a l'Cie any more, Cid Raines can activate this ability at least three posts into a battle. Three pairs of ghostly silver blue wings will appear on the man's back while a light emanates from him, signalling that he is charging his ability. During this time he may still attack [ with all attacks growing in power by one level ]. The light will last for three posts, growing brighter with each post. On the fourth post the area will turn white for a few moments, removing all opponents' buffs and his side's debuffs, granting Raines Bravery and Haste. This deals significant damage to all enemies.
- This can only be activated three posts into a battle.
- The ability takes three posts to charge and the attack is on the fourth.
- During the charge all physical abilities deal one level higher of damage, so moderate would deal heavy, heavy to significant, etc, but this is only ONE boost, so moderate will never get to heavy.
- On the fourth post, debuffs are removed from Cid and allies, and all buffs are removed from his enemies. Cid is also granted Haste and Bravery for three posts.
- Seraphic Ray also deals significant non-elemental damage to all enemies.
- This has a seven post cooldown.

CYMRUGUARDIAN OF COCOON THIS CREATURE IS :: UNLOCKED
DESCRIPTION Cymru is a simple legend in Cid Raines's old village, being that of a large, majestic ruby dragon. His figure is different from most dragons and seems to be rather thin for them, but this is because Cymru is more of an air elemental, and his body has evolved to something lightweight. Cymru's eyes are that of reddish grey, and his claws, though appearing coal black in certain lights, are actually a steel blue colour, colour coding his other alignment to the element of water.
History BEFORE PRIMARCH CID RAINES :: A dragon told in legends in the village Cid Raines lived in, the mythical Cymru was a dragon that used to be the loyal partner of a Cocoon l'Cie, a knight and servant of the fal'Cie Eden one thousand years ago. The l'Cie would not crystallise, however, his brand frozen by Eden herself. The l'Cie and his Eidolon would go out of the dimension Orphan and Eden lived in, and they would look at problems, see what was going on, report back to Eden, who would make a decision about what to do, and report it to the Sanctum, and the knight would watch them, make sure they took that decision made before returning to his duties. However, when the knight went against the Cocoon fal'Cie five hundred years ago, he was killed by a single blow from Eden, upon orders of Barthandelus, and Cymru found himself alive, but in limbo -- a ghost that haunted the lake by the village they came from, the lake he and his master visited frequently. Cymru would appear to those who sought help, who needed help, he would advise them on what to do, and he would do this for the next thousand years, even meeting the mother of who would become his next master, and she would be the last person he advised before his spirit was forced away and into the realm of espers.
