[Yuna]

"I do trust you and you seem to know how to handle yourself in battle. Just by looking at you and your determination shows this." Yuna said nodding at him.

Even though Yuna did have a tendency to trust to quickly. Even if someone was putting on an act, the young summoner would put her trust in them to easily. Not that she would put her life in someone's hands that quick, but she would trust them enough for help. Erik didn't seem like someone who would use Yuna though, he was sweet and thoughtful. Most people would call the young summoner naive, would be spot on to. Evil and hurtful people existed, yet she would keep her head high in hopes that there was not as much as there really was.

"Well no," Yuna said shaking her head. "I've always focused on becoming a summoner. Since I grew up in Besaid and became friends with everyone, I can't see myself with any of them. You're kind to think so."

If only the summoner knew what was deep inside her memories. The fact that she got married and fell in love with one of her guardians. A guardian that was a dream and faded away when Sin was defeated. A fayth dream brought to Spira and faded when the fayth awoke. Her marriage was something that she never even wanted. A marriage to a unsent Maester who wanted to use her to become Sin. Although Yuna did not remember one bit of this, all these memories were only in her dreams which was only a blur to her.

"I'm glad you weren't turned into a C'ieth, you know. Would be a shame to lose an opportunity to meet you." Yuna truthfully said. "Still, not right to make someone go through that." Yuna gazed at the "apartments", what he called it. "Wow everything looks so different." Yuna said and breathed deeply.

[Erik Storm]

"Determination.."He thought for a moment. He looked over at her."Determination didn't save my wife." He thought. But he brushed the thought away and smiled to her statement."You're a charming girl. I would totally be with you. You definitely charmed me, Yuna."He said, smiling sweetly to her. His smile faded at her words."I was quite close to becoming a Cie'th..I never wanted to become one of those monsters."He said and lowered the bike until it touched the ground. He got off and offered her his hand."I would have never met you, Yuna."He said, smiling."Shall we explore the ruins then? It could be fun, come on."He said and smiled bigger, waiting for her to take his hand.

[Yuna]

[/b] Yuna said blushing still. "I..." Yuna was really at a loss of words.

Not like the brunette had taken offense to his words, Yuna just really didn't know what to say. Also Yuna was trying her hardest to hide the fact that she was blushing still. Oh Lulu what should I say, Yuna thought. With this in mind, she pictured Lulu and Chappu together. I wonder if Lulu blushed when Chappu said he liked her. She always is leveled headed and calm, Yuna thought.

After these thoughts Yuna noticed they were on the ground and Erik had explained more about his accomplishment. "I'm glad you're not a monster." Yuna said chuckling. Noticing his open hand, the girl reached and took it. "Yes I'd love to." Yuna said and got off the hovercycle.[/ul]

[Erik Storm]

Erik smiled a little, his smile fading when he realized her shyness."Oh, I didn't mean to offend you Yuna."He said and saw her take his hand. He smiled gently and helped her up."Even if I am a L'cie, I have learned that fate can be challenged, Snow and Lightning have proven that many times."He paused and then laughed."Sorry sorry, Snow's the leader of NORA, the people I pursued for my..misguided vengeance."He said and softly looked at her. He smiled gently."Me neither, I would never have met you if I was one..we would have never become the best of friends and I never..would have had these feelings for you..I'd be so empty." He nodded and led her along. The inside of the apartments was mostly crystal, having been derelict for months maybe even a year. He looked up."My apartment was on the fiftieth floor."He took her hand and led her along, the interior also had makeshift stairs that were made out of crystals. He walked up one of the, going flight after flight."We should be close. can you climb that high?"He asked her.

[Yuna]

[/b] Yuna said and touched Erik's shoulder. "Sorry that it seemed like that. I'm just not used to someone talking to me like that." Yuna said and removed her hand from his shoulder blushing.

This world really was something different. It actually reminded her of Zanarkand, that is what she heard of it. A machina city that was now in ruins. Though Zanarkand was once always glowing and busy. The blitzball stadium always lit up at night, drawing everyone in to watch. And the glowing off the water, the young summoner thought. Coming out of her thoughts Yuna noticed the apartments Erik was talking about.

Chuckling, Yuna nodded her head at Erik. "I'll be fine." she said with a smile and looked at the stairs.

As Erik led her by the hand, the brunette girl still had a bit of pink on her cheeks. Yuna continued to let Erik guide her up a a few flight of stairs and she had already made a mental note of the fiftieth floor. Which made her get an idea as they reached the third floor. Of course she didn't want to bring it up right now, maybe with many other flights of stairs Yuna would. Right now though, now wasn't the time. Thinking about this brought a smile across her face.

"This is truely amazing, only place I can think of with almost as many steps is the St. Palace of Bevelle." Yuna told Erik.[/ul]

[Erik Storm]

He smiled as she touched his shoulder and patted her hand gently, placing it back at his side as she withdrew her hand. He walked alongside her as they headed up the flights of stairs. She brought up Bevelle and he blinked a bit, looking forward."That's the base of Yevon right?"He said and paused, looking at her briefly and then looked back forward."Oh err..it's just what I gathered from what you told me."He said and looked to the side at Yuna, smiling a little."So, what can we do to reach the fiftieth floor, got any surprises in store?"He asked, smiling smally. There was a hint of youthful mischief in both tone and expression. He continued clambering up the steers, gently humming a bit but still listened for Yuna's answer.

[Yuna]

[/b] Yuna chuckled. "We could have a race when we get closer."

Not like that was a big surprise. Oh Yuna why! Yuna thought. She was planning on just launching the idea on him and taking off up the steps. Well the young girl had always been bad with keeping a secret. A reason why people refrained from telling Yuna about surprise birthday parties and other surprises.

"It's part of the temple in Bevelle, and its quite beautiful. Little of what I remember, but I do know it is quite beautiful. It is pretty high up in the clouds. I think you'd like it." Yuna said smiling. "I was planning on surprising you with the race. I'm sorry, I've always been bad with keeping secrets or surprises." Yuna said with a giggle.[/ul]

[Erik Storm]

Erik smiled wide to her idea and looked at her."Hey, that's a great idea!"He said a turned to her, walking backwards and ruffled her hair."You're so clever."He said and smiled sweetly to her. His smile then faded and he withdrew his hand, seeing his wife's appearance right infront of him.

"A race up the stairs? That's a great idea, you're so smart!"Said Erik and ruffled a beautiful woman's blonde hair.

The woman raised her delicate fists to her lips and smally laughed."Why Erik, you're sure energetic."She put her hand to her side and reached up, brushing her husband's hair from his face. "You have the energy of a child, just like how we first met."

Erik's blush covered his face and he laughed, taking his wife's hand and placed it to his chest."Anna, I want to be the best husband ever to you..marriage is a big step."

"And so is fatherhood."Anna said, smiling.

Erik's eyes widened."Y..You mean.."His blush got hotter.

"Yes, Erik Storm..I'm pregnant with your child."She said, blushing and placing her hand on her stomach."He also said it would be a boy."She was caught in a hug and spun around, laughing sweetly.

"That's great Anna! Ohh my...we have so much planning!"

Erik scratched the back of his head and looked up."We got a long way up."He said, smiling to her."If you get tired, just let me know all right?"He said and went up the flights of stairs, humming something.

[Yuna]

[/b] Yuna asked. "Are you okay? Was it something I said, I'm sorry." Yuna apologized quickly.

The summoner nodded at him and fiddled with her fingers. I bet it was to silly for him, Yuna thought. She really wasn't good at keeping secrets but had she really sad something to make him change his act so quickly.

"Are you sure you wanna show me your apartment?" Yuna asked a bit worried.[/ul]

Erik looked up to Yuna and smiled, shaking his head."No no no, I'm fine, don't apologize."He turned to her. He put both hands on her shoulders, breathing in."I'm sorry, I kind of ruined the fun moment didn't I? I didn't mean to make you worry"He said and smiled a little."I wanna thank you, you've been so kind to me all this time and I don't know if I can ever thank you enough for it, I mean..I don't have much to offer so..I can do my best to give you something decent in return."He paused and then took off his engagement pendant, taking her hand and placed the necklace in it, smiling to her softly. "It's not much but..please take it."He blushed smally."I want you to have it."He said and hugged her."Thank you."He said and stepped back, smiling."Don't worry, I SO want to show you my apartment, don't worry for me."

[Yuna]

[/b] Yuna said smiling sweetly at him. "If you really insist I don't wish to disrespect you by not accepting the necklace, but isn't this significant to you? Me being nice doesn't require you giving me something that means something to you. I thank you though, you're really sweet." Yuna said and wrapped her arms around him in a hug. "I thought I said something to upset you, but no I'm still willing to race." Yuna chuckled and continued up the steps.[/ul]

[Erik Storm]

Erik smiled a little bit and shook his head."you've been so nice to me Yuna, a very good friend."He said and smiled as she hugged him. He wrapped his arms around Yuna and hugged her close, smiling."Yes, the necklace is significant and precious to me, but so are you Yuna."He said and pulled back when she did, poking her cheek playfully. He then nodded."A race will be in order then, shall we?"He said, smiling a little and hurried beside Yuna up the stairs."In all honesty, if it wasn't for the Fal'Cie, I wouldn't have met you. That's one good thing they did for me."He said, smiling a little bit to her.

[Yuna]

[/b] Yuna started, "I'll be sure to treasure this gift always."

Not like she was overdoing it, since it was so precious to him Yuna would treasure it. Anything given to someone that is treasured, it should be equally treasured. If it was not as treasured, wouldn't the meaning go away? In the young summoner's mind, it definitely was so.

"Erik, if you don't mind me asking, but what's it like? Well I mean what's it like to be married and have a baby on the way?" Yuna asked. "I'm not trying to pry into your personal business, but ever since the eternal calm started I've had a few wants for my future. Like having my own husband and starting a family. I know it won't happen any time soon, but it's something I want for my future, you know." Yuna said looking down at the steps.[/ul]

[Erik Storm]

Erik smiled to her words and nodded softly."Thank you, Yuna, it means a lot to hear you say that."He said and paused. He then turned Yuna and smiled, putting the necklace around her neck and snipped it in the back, making sure it was adjusted for her comfort and stepped back."There you go."He said, smiling softly. "You look great in it, fits you perfectly."He complimented, smiling and keeping beside her. However, her question about marriage spurred surprise from him and a blush. He cleared his throat."What's it like to be married? Hmm..Well being married is about like.."He looked at her."It's about like restarting your life, it's refreshing and..it's like all the bad in your life has gone away and you have someone you can love and cherish.."He said and smiled, looking down."Having a baby on the way..hmm..it's nerve wracking, you have so much you have to do, you tire yourself out knowing that a son or a daughter you love will be coming into this world..when Anna told me she was pregnant..I felt happy and nervous at the same time.."

[Yuna]

[/b] The summoner asked.

Yuna listened to what Erik said and felt herself get warm at the thought. The thought of having a husband and being in love. I wonder how it feels though, Yuna thought. She asked Erik how it felt, but the young summoner knew the experience would be different.

"It sounds truly amazing. I've seen how Lulu and Chappu were when they fell in love, and I was so happy for them. Only I wonder how it will feel when I fall in love. I wonder if I'll blush as much or get butterflies in my stomach. It's a shame it didn't turn out how you planned. Are you going to try and fall in love again? You don't have to answer that if you don't want to." Yuna added the last part quickly.[/ul]
